- 894sahara0 contributionsThe crew of the cruise ship provided exceptional service, and making us feel like honored guestsOur Nile cruise trip to Luxor and Aswan was a captivating journey through ancient Egypt, filled with awe-inspiring temples, fascinating historical sites, and the tranquil beauty of the Nile River.Written 19 December 2023
- DfredFD10 contributionsGrateful for a Great Guide!A really great experience with a guide who was highly informative as well as friendly and patient. We learned so much during the trip and our guide pointed out details that we surely would have missed if we attempted to do the visit on our own. I strongly give this my highest review and will for sure recommend it to my traveling friends.Written 10 December 2021
- aikach10 contributionsFantastic company, great serviceI contacted Ashraf based on a recommendation from a friend that had recently been to Egypt as I was looking for a guide in Luxor. He was quick to respond and offered to help arrange everything from my airport transfers to my hot air balloon ride, as well as suggesting an excellent itinerary of sightseeing around Luxor and a day trip slightly further afield to Abydos and Dendera. I was happy to go with this, and happy with the price quoted. Ashram himself was my guide for the first day, but he'd already been booked by other people for the subsequent days so Mahmoud took over. Both were excellent, knowledgeable and engaging guides who really added to the experience, offered to take photos of me at the places we visited, taught me lots of interesting things and made my time in Luxor fascinating, informative and enjoyable. Ashraf was also really helpful when we got to my hotel and discovered the hotel had overbooked and didn't have a room available for me after all, which was very much appreciated. He then took time to check in with me each day I was in Luxor to make sure I was happy and ask if I needed help with anything. Both he and Mahmoud made sure I knew that they were there to help if I needed anything. The drivers also did an excellent job and I was never short of water, juice and snacks along the way. And of course the sights, tombs and temples we visited were absolutely incredible. Words, and even photos, don't do them justice. Incredible experience, and I highly recommend doing it with this organisation. If you have time to visit Dendera and Abydos, I would really recommend that too. I had never heard of the temples there, but they are perhaps some of the best preserved, and they were simply amazing.Written 11 November 2021
- Heather A0 contributionsAll taken care of...I worked with Ashraf based on a recommendation from a friend. I reached out via WhatsApp from the UAE before arriving. From the start Ashraf was quick to respond and provided great insight, he was helpful on choosing a hotel, and thoughtful in his responses. He was extremely clear with his communication. He developed personalized packages based on our interests and timing. We felt the price he gave us was very good. We did not end up having Ashraf as our guide as he was in Luxor and we visited Cairo. He arranged for another extremely qualified and pleasant guide to work with us. They even arranged for a doctor to meet us at one of the stops to take a COVID test needed for the return flight home. Everything was taken care of without pressure or hassle. Wonderful, highly recommend.Written 28 October 2021
- gwleckyt0 contributionsAn excellent guide, perfect host, made our trip even more memorable!Mahmoud was our guide for several days as we cruised the Nile visiting sites around Luxor, Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan and a trip out to the desert to see the Abu Simbel monument. At each stop, he proved knowledgeable and eager to answer all our questions, as well as fielding some of our more left field requests, such as stopping to buy water from local shops, or suggesting somewhere to buy a silver cartouche pendant. Always willing to adapt the programme to meet the needs of the group, as well as some great advice on dealing with local street vendors, he also helped out when some of them proved to be a little over-enthusiastic in their attempts to persuade us to buy hats, postcards, guaranteed 100% Nile cotton shirts, or other novelty gifts... Mahmoud is always smiling, able to raise the spirits of two tired teenagers being dragged around temples in 45 degree heat, in itself no mean feat, and full of little nuggets of ancient lore to put alongside the usual patter and received wisdom that makes up normal visits. Gauging the interests of the group well, he directed us to specific parts of each site that he thought would interest us, and explained the meanings behind the various hieroglyphs, statues and buildings in a very engaging manner, almost as if re-discovering each monument with us. Looking forward to an opportunity to go back and discover even more of Egypt's history with Mahmoud as our guide!Written 5 August 2019
- Dominique E0 contributionswonderful experienceWe visited Egypt for the first time and it was a wonderful experience! From Louxor to Aswan and Abu Simbel, the program was very varied and we could appreciate each site thanks to the explanations of our guide Mahmoud. He was able to adapt the program to our requests and organize everything in the smallest detail. We felt taken care of from the beginning to the end of the stay. We strongly advise its services to everyone!Written 26 July 2019
