About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Andres P0 contributionsBest ExperienceWe had the luck to have Ahmed Nady as our tour guide. He went above and beyond to take care of my group and I. I would highly suggest doing this tour as it will show you some beautiful expedites and have the best tour guide. Thank you!Written 12 October 2024
- Coastal537396405050 contributionsGood experienceI recently booked a tour in Dahab, and it exceeded my expectations. We were picked up from our hotel in Sharm El Sheikh by our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The itinerary matched what was promised, and every activity was engaging and well-organized. The beauty of the sea was absolutely stunning, making the experience even more memorable. Guide’s enthusiasm and expertise made the day enjoyable and truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Dahab!Written 10 October 2024
- Excursion630856978900 contributionsGreat day out pack with memorable activitiesWe had a fantastic day with our guide Ahmed Nady. The minibus picked us at our hotel. We were driven to Dahab Blue Hole we a stop mid journey for rest and a stop for renting snorkeling gears (diving suit, mask, tuba and fins). We changed at the bedouin restaurant on the beach. The day was beautiful weather but windy and the were quite a few waves so my husband and I were not too confident getting into the water. Ahmed our guide ensure we were accompanied the all 40 minutes so we could relax and enjoy the view of the many colourful fishes and corals. By the end we were completely at ease. Ahmed was very helpful getting us out of the sea. We then enjoyed a drink of bomba (freshly squashed mango, strawberry and guava) which allowed our test buds to get rid of the salty water taste before enjoying a bedouin meal. After the meal it was time for the Quad, the ride went on the beach and in the rocky area. It was great fun. We then went on a camel ride on the beach. A first for my husband which was quite skeptical to start but greatly enjoyed it. After a short drive to Dahab for some shopping while waiting for the authorisation to go to the canyon, and enjoyed some air conditioning at the hottest time of the day, we headed for final destination of the day. The Salama coloured canyons. We change from our minibus to jeeps for a short safari in the sand to the canyon entrance. There we walk the canyon length while Ahmed explained us some geological and historical facts. At the exit of the canyon we drank bedouin tea before boarding our jeeps for another sand safari to get back to our minibus for the drive back to the hotel. The all experience was great and the guide was always there to help, inform, explain, support. A long but really great day.Written 8 October 2024
- tracyaU12UU0 contributionsGreat experience not to be missedGreat organised excursion. Picked up from my hotel on time. Air conditioned mini bus. Quad biking through the desert, short stop to hear the mountains echoing back. Then a camel ride, and into dinner and 2 different shows. Then amazing star gazing with an astronomer’s knowledge of the sky. Got to look at Saturn through 2 massive telescopes and the North Star. Then an evening quad bike ride back to the base in the dark. Great experience would highly recommend.Written 6 October 2024
- M6581KIsophier0 contributionsGreat tour that could be improvedReally enjoyed the stargazing, the good and the staff was really kind. We waited a long time between the activities and we didnt liked the camel riding activity, except this point we recommand this tour and this company !Written 2 October 2024
- jamartinca0 contributionsNice activities; bad transportation conditions. The different activities are interesting and beautiful, but the means of transport is not. A van fully booked. I was forced to be seated at the last row where is really small and uncomfortable to spend there half of the day (at least the guide should suggest to rotate positions in every trip). The guide explained the day planning but did not mention anything interesting about the environmental surrounding or the history of the canyon, for example (he just took us to the different places and said “follow me” or “everything ok?”). The two commercial stops take place in markets that are not well preserved for the tourism at all. We were also picked up 25 minutes later than scheduled and dropped off at the end of the day the last of all the other companions (even noticing the guide that we were passing in front of the hotel when leaving the 3rd couple at their place) but he didn’t care and told that this was the route established, meaning to be on the van for another 25 min. In summary, I recommend the activities but the transportation and the guide must improve much more to make the whole experience great.Written 24 September 2024

- Passenger172288468240 contributionsA great day all round. Check you don’t pay for snorkelling equipment twice.A fantastic day with the snorkelling team. We paid for the inclusive trip which included snorkels , flippers etc. but when we got to the boat we were charged another 450 Egyptian pounds. The operator said he knew nothing of this. The entire day and it’s a full on day is magnificent. The boat was about a third full, so Plenty of room, snorkelling was brilliant and visiting Raz Mahuud was stunning. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the day and can highly recommend this trip. When I returned I contacted the tour operator and informed he we had been charged. He offered to come to our hotel and recommence me. I told him it wasn’t necessary and to give the money to the snorkelling team who did a fantastic job.Written 8 June 2024
- connora8760 contributionsAmazing experience!Me and my partner went on quads including dinner and stargazing and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish, all the staff were attentive and willing to help in any way they could! The dinner was amazing and more than enough in terms of portion size and everything was fresh and tasty, the only bad point is I was charged 15 dollars for 1 printed picture before we'd set off to then find out from another couple that they had paid just 1 dollar which was disappointing.. and also 20 dollars for more pictures for what i thought would be romantic sunset pictures but he had us doing cringey poses so kinda ruined them. My advice would be to 100% book this experience but take a camera and do the pictures yourself.. everything else was perfect 😁 Cheers, Connor.Written 21 May 2024
- W8794AYsabrinab0 contributions10/10!We had an amazing time I could not recommend this excursion more!! The crew was lovely and the food was very good. We got to see the moon and a few stars in the telescope and overall great value for money. The quad biking was one of a kind through the Sinai desertWritten 12 May 2024
- Prashant R0 contributionsExploring Dahab...We visited Dahab with a group called Alibaba...and our tour guide is Abdul who is very kind and enthusiastic...He managed the tour and timings very well...we enjoyed snorkeling at Blue hole, camel ride around the sea, colourful canan valley, and the food...Most recommended and trustworthy tour group Alibaba....Written 5 May 2024
- 11STsilviatita0 contributionsGreat experience!Fantastic! The Blue hole is amazing, there are so many fishes and corals and you can see people that dives in the deepest blue. Appreciated the guide Sheriff and Feisal for this great experience, they are very kind and funny.Written 4 May 2024
- Anjafortune0 contributionsamazing experienceThis excursion was simply perfect: It started with being picked up on time and continued with seamless organization. For the first time in my life, I got to snorkel and admire the beauty of coral reefs and fish, which I had only seen in videos before. It truly was an unforgettable experience. After a delicious lunch, we had the opportunity to ride camels on the beach and then drive to a canyon in the desert. The hike through the canyon was simply wonderful. Our driver, Mohammed, ensured throughout the day that we safely reached each destination. Abdul proved to be the perfect guide for our group, always ready to answer any questions and provide us with background information. He made sure everyone was safe and having fun while snorkeling. His language skills were impressive. The young photographer, Mohammed, accompanied us all day and captured the precious moments with his great photos. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour, and I will definitely come back.Written 1 May 2024

If you are in Egypt it is 100% worth seeing the sights in Cairo however be warned as on our trip although our guide was lovely I feel like he wasted too much of our time trying to sell us stuff ( papyrus shop, perfume place). I feel like this ate in to our time to see the actual sights! We only spent 40 mins in the Egyptian museum which I am really dissapointed with. Our guide was too busy taking us shopping! Just a heads up that there is an underlying pressure to 'buy' when they take you to the papyrus and perfume places. Our itinerary went straight out the window as soon as we sat in the car. Fair warning all...apart from that seeing the pyramids was magical. FYI you need to purchase an additional ticket to go inside the pyramid which is not included in the tour cost.

Rarely we have come across a tour guide like Ahmed Waheeb. He is a very warm and open personality, speaks fluent English, has a good sense of humour and is extremely well informed about Egypts modern and ancient history, myths, religions and culture. He knows ways to portray it like you were right there in those scenes yourself; surrounded by legendary mythic goddesses, pharaohs, warriors and invaders.
The tour Ahmed gave us in the museum was exciting; he has a nice pace and shows you the highlights telling truly interesting new stories about them. And tells it with a lot of passion. One can tell that he is really into the topics. The tour, consisting of a visit to the old city, lunch, a visit to the museum and pyramids of Gizeh, was accustomed to the wishes of the small group we were with. The lunch buffet was of a simple but good quality. Many tourists are dropped off there, but that was okay.
The only thing we didn’t like so much were the standard ‘tourist stops’ that we were being dropped off at: a papyrus shop and oil store. As they are part of every tour and are not requested by the participants.
If you want to enjoy a tour in Cairo, make sure to book it with Ahmed!

Myself and my boyfriend had the best experience with FTS Travels on our trip to the Pyramids of Giza in Cairo. We were collected promptly from our accommodation and dropped to the airport. At Cairo our driver was waiting for us. He had good A/C and refreshments on hand for us in a cooler in the car! Was definitely needed in the heat. There was no wait times for our driver throughout the duration of the tour, he was very prompt and ready to collect us after each stop! Our tour guide Ahmed Waheeb came along with us the whole way and was giving us a great insight to Cairo as we zoomed through the crazy roads of Cairo city. First we went to Khan el-Khalili (the famous market). We saw the small colourful streets filled with shops, cafes, restaurants etc. We then headed to the Egyptian Museum. Ahmed told us many interesting facts about the main pieces here. You could spend weeks in the museum here, there‘s A LOT to learn and see for your own eyes here which gratefully our guide did as much as he could with the time we had. After this we were on our way to the Pyramids! Just before we got there we stopped at a buffet restaurant for some lunch which was included in the tour. The food was very good. We then headed up to the Pyramids which were only a few hundred metres from the restaurant. It was crazy to see these live in the flesh and not just through pictures or in a book, we both could not believe our eyes. They are magnificent. Ahmed, our guide had a nice surprise for us too… His photography/videography skills! He captured sensational photos and videos of my boyfriend and I. He captured all of the memories for us! ( I have attatched some of these). We then got to see the Sphinx which was also truly magnificent, and Ahmed told us lots about the history of it and the location. After our few hours in Giza, we were headed back to the airport, we stopped for some shopping in a Papyrus and perfume shop. You don’t have to buy anything but it’s great to learn about. We were shown how the Papyrus is made, and got an Egyptian coffee in the perfume shop! That concluded our tour in Cairo and Giza, overall we had a fantastic day and fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Egypt to do this tour to see the last existing Wonder of The World.

Amazing trip with FTS travel and especially Mohamed and our driver who made the trip 10x better. Communication was good and they have been very helpful, our admin lady Heba has also been a dream to organise with and has been very helpful for the planning of the trip.
We first went to the market in the morning which was a good choice as this is when it was not busy and we preferred this, a private boat cruise on the Nile, then onto the museum and lastly the pyramids and sphinx. Mohamed was very knowledgeable and told us so much more than we would’ve picked up on the information boards in the museum, we had a lot of free time to go around when we visited the different places and didn’t feel rushed. I also want to say that the driver was very helpful and polite, they both really made the trip that much more enjoyable!
Cairo is a very busy city and this trip with a private car is the perfect way to enjoy Cairo as it can be quite overwhelming. We where hassled at the pyramids but this was expected, our tour guide Mohamed did all he could to make it as pleasant as possible and he took some really great pictures of us, and knew all the perfect places to get good photos.
Overall we were really happy with the trip, Mohamed and the driver (which I can’t remember his name unfortunately!) are a testament to the company, thank you very much to both of them!

This was a very long day but it was absolutely worth it.
We were picked up from our hotel at 4.30 am amd taken to the airport at Sharm el Sheikh to fly to Cairo.
We were met by Ismail and Ahmed, our personal guide and driver for the day.
Ismail was so helpful and knowledgeable, keeping us informed and feeling safe throughout the day
We started off being dropped off at the gate to the market in the heart of Islamic Cairo. A history of trading at the site dates as far back as around 1382 to 1389, but the carved and decorated gates and alleyways came later, in the 16th century.
Ahmed picked us up to take us to the Egyptian museum, where we saw so much of ancient Egyptian history, including Tut Ankh Amun's golden chair, his burial jewellery and finery, mummified animals and the mummies of Yuya and Thuya. You can still see their finger nails and blonde curly hair.
After a coffee break, Ahmed drove us to the banks of the Nile for a boat trip. The view was amazing, with Cairo on one side and Giza on the other.
Our next stop was to the papyrus institute where we were shown the process for making the first writing material that is similar to paper. It was invented by the Egyptians in approximately 3000 B.C. The art work was explained to us, depicting typical ancient Egyptian stories such as judgement day. When the lights are turned off, the pictures light up and create a completely different picture.
After an all excellent all you can eat buffet, we were taken to 3 different drop offs to get the best views of the Giza Pyramids. The views were stunning. We were then taken to see the Spinkx and the temple that had been built to mummify the bodies of the Pharoes.
Our final stop was to a perfume and oil factory, where a Bedouin family explained how they grow the flowers and the process used to create pure essential oils used for many remedies and for the base for many household named perfumes.
We didn't get back to our hotel until after 11.30 pm but it had been a fabulous experience.
I would definitely recommend this trip and our excellent guide and driver.

Incredible experience. Luca, the guide who accompanied us to the airport, was punctual, super helpful, friendly and gave us tips and advice on visiting Cairo. Once we arrived in the capital, we were welcomed by Mohamed Hassan and his colleague driving the van. The trip was well organized in terms of travel and timing and also allowed us to visit a papyrus museum and a historic shop of essences and perfumes. Mohamed involved us in every activity, giving us suggestions on how to behave, telling us anecdotes and historical notes about Egypt, the pharaohs, the pyramids and local customs. He left us time for us during the different stages and truly pampered us, always remaining available and cheerful.
Super recommended!

An absolutely brilliant day. We were collected on time from our hotel, taken to the airport for our flight to Cairo. When we arrived we were greeted by our guide Ibrahim what a brilliant enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. It turned out we were the only two on the tour, so we were treated like VIP’s. Our driver was fantastic and I have to admire his patience and skill manoeuvring the Cairo traffic , the man was brilliant. Our day was spent visiting the pyramids , the sphinx , Cairo museum. After lunch, which is included in the price, we had a few other stop offs at a papyrus museum and a perfume shop, we ended the day with a trip down the Nile. Just being driven through Cairo is an experience itself and I highly recommend it.
We were returned to the airport in plenty of time for our flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. I cannot express just how fantastic this day was, everything was perfect. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this a day to remember for the rest of our lives.

Asmaa/ Mohammed was our tour guide, made me feel part of the group even though I was by myself. Egyptian Museum- -we were shown the key exhibits, and had time to then explore by ourselves. The boat trip on the Nile gave us a different perspective of Cairo. The visit to the pyramids was spectacular and the camel ride well organised. We stopped to see the Sphinx but this was too brief for me.
All in all a memorable day, FTS is a reliable organisations a caring intelligent guide, who made Cairo a memorable experience.

Very long day but totally worth the extra money for a flight. Guide was excellent and very kind, knew so much and had great tips, e.g. spending the extra to get a horse and carriage ride to get a good view of all the pyramids together - about 10 minutes into the desert. Very flexible day, it was just me and my GF with the guide and a driver so we could do a lot more. We managed a falafel stop, mosque visit and river Nile trip in addition to the rest. Tickets get sent through a day/ 2 before, and you use them to get your boarding passes at check in. Navigating the airports was totally fine. Would 100% recommend but it’s a hard day. Little sleep and 44 degree heat was hard but 1000% worth the money. Went extremely smoothly and saw everything we wanted to see and more.

It was a beautiful experience! Nabil, our guide, is a wonderful and very professional person. He explained everything to us in detail at both the museum and the pyramids and led us through the market streets of Cairo. For lunch they took us to a buffet restaurant with excellent local food and the dromedary ride with the pyramids as a backdrop was also unforgettable. At the end of the tour, since the flight was at 11.30pm, he and Mahmoud (who followed us in the organisation) offered us a mini cruise on the Nile with dinner and a show. Definitely worth the trip!
