So, we decided to look around the internet and see if we could find a good operator for this trip and we found this one. Because we weren't entirely sure what to do, how to book etc. we decided to send a WhatsApp message. Pretty quickly someone responded and sent us the costs and everything. Sounded pretty good so we confirmed the booking. After that we were told what time we'd be picked up and everything. So, at the day of the tour we got picked up by car and he drove us to the bus. The chairs were pretty comfortable, so we could catch some sleep (we got picked up at 1.45 AM). It was a six hour drive so we did stop somewhere on the way to stretch the legs, go to the bathroom, have a drink... When we almost arrived at our destination someone walked up to us, we hadn't seen him on the bus but apparently he hopped on somewhere on the road. He was our tour guide, Tharwat. Tharwat explained to us how everything worked, what we were gonna do and we started at the Egyptian Museum. We were kinda lucky because we were the only two doing the tour in English. So that meant: a private tour guide. Tharwat was amazing, he spoke very clearly and explained so much about everything in the museum. After the museum we went on with the program. There was an optional river cruise on the Nile, he advised us to go along. It was a hot day and on the boat you'd get some fresh air from the wind and something to drink as well. We made some beautiful pictures and even Tharwat made some nice pictures of us together. After the river cruise we went for lunch. This was very great and delicious too. It was an open buffet, so you could eat anything you wanted. The lunch was included, but the drinks weren't. Which wasn't a problem at all. I'm not exactly sure what we did in which order, but we also went to the Papyrus Institute. Here they made the original papyrus paintings and everything. We got ourselves some nice souvenirs here. Then we went to the pyramids and that was really amazing. Tharwat telling us about the history of the pyramids, also advising us to do the camel trip. So, of course we did! We both rode on a camel, seperately, to the point from where you could see all 9 pyramids. There we took some pictures and they turned out really great. After the pyramids we also went to see the great Mr Sphinx. Here we took some more pictures and Tharwat also made some pictures for us. And I think that that was the end of our program. We really had an amazing time in Cairo. Tharwat was the best tour guide we could wish for. If we were to rate him out of 10, he'd get 20. I'm not exaggerating, but this was a really good day for us. Definitely recommending this one!

Very nice experience, but...
Very nice experience, which we enjoyed a lot! We saw a lot of dolphins, nice corals and had fun during the whole trip. The trip sitters are nice and funny, maybe a little bit too touchy for some girls. And please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy the pictures! You don't get what you pay for and way too much!!!! Nevertheless it was fun!

The trip from hell.
There are several options for quad tours on their website, we booked one "3 hours quad". There was immediately confusion with the pick up driver, as he asked us if we were going on a safari, and since their website does have jeep safaris and this word was not on the name of our tour, we said "no". After 30 mins this guy called the organization, they Emailed me, and through a great deal of confusion we realized it was indeed us he was waiting for. The driver and guy who I talked to on the phone both seemed angry; however, if you don't be safari in the name of the tour (but it is in the name of other tours), people will not be able to communicate properly. The quad that was given to us was in no shape to be driven. The shocks were shot, and me and my girlfriend (on the back of the quad) destroyed our bodies that day. By the end I had blisters all over my hands (which ended up getting infected, keeping me out of the ocean for days and mostly ruining my vacation in Makadi bay), and it felt like I'd been in a strong man competition from trying to hold onto the handles through the incredible shocks and bumps throughout the entire ride. There was a point where I thought we might not be able to make it back because my hands were giving out and I could barely sustain pressure on the throttle (and I'm a weightlifter). My girlfriend said it felt like she was holding on for her life and the next day her back and bum and beaten to hell (as were mine). I believe it could have been an enjoyable experience if the equipment was properly maintained and monitored, but ours was an experience I would not wish on anybody. It seemed like everybody else had no problems, people were riding one hand and standing up and having fun.

Cairo, luxor and boat trip
We recently went on 3 trips. 1 day cairo by air, 1day luxor by coach and a boat trip where we were able to swim with wild dolphins and enjoy a sofa and banana boat ride plus some excellent snorkeling all thanks to the crew on karans 2. The cairo and luxor trips were excellent although long and tiring with mark being our guide in luxor and Muhammed in cairo both were excellent and knowledgeable. The trips do incurr extra cost just be aware of the intimidating tactics of the guys running the camel trips at the pyramids, well out of order in my opinion. My advice is decide what you feel you want to give as a tip if any and stick to your guns but don't be put off making the trip its awesome. On the whole had a great time with book tour egypt. In my experience I would highly recommend them they provide a reasonably priced quality tour.

I have tried to contact via WhatsApp and they answered fast, but instead send me text messages, they were sending voice messages, asking couple times for things I have already written above. They didn't want to spend 5min to focus on my questions and book the trip (quads and camels in Makadi Bay or Safaga). When I have decided to book the trip they stopped answering, I have send also 3 messages later and no answer until today (they read messages as you can see in the pictures).

Great Day
Could not fault this trip, was great from start to finish. Arranged this in England before we left and was met at the airport to make payment. Food, service and guys on board were fantastic. We saw the dolphins but was too windy to swim with them. Even had banana boat and bed ride at the end. Excellent value for money as same trip was £30 more expensive from the hotel. Great communication through Watsap. Will definitely book again.

Day trip to Cairo flight
Firstly let me start with the negative. After doing my research I decided to use Book Tour Egypt due to the price of there tour and consistent reviews. I contacted Ahmed through WhatsApp and arranged the tour with him. He said that I had to pay the full amount (which was fine) but here’s the bit that leads me to calling it a negative. He said he would send a taxi driver to my hotel to collect the money, the taxi driver wouldn’t be allowed into the hotel complex due to the hotel wanting to sell the same tours but at much inflated prices (which is true) and that I would meet him on the road outside and pay him the money. I did this and met the taxi driver and parted with a chunk of cash I received a scribbled receipt and a business card for payment. Even though everything was perfect about this trip I was left wondering if I had been ripped off for the six days I waited. I hadn’t, it is just the way this company works,so fear not if you use them, this is there approach. The actual trip was excellent, we started with pick up at the hotel (4:20 am😩) straight to the airport with an hour wait before take off. Met Tharawat our guide who gave us a little talk before taking us to our first stop a mosque this was an extra £5 each but worth it as I had never been to a mosque before. Next off to Egyptian museum for maybe 90 minutes where Tharawat explained different things and gave us a few pointers. Next Nile cruise which was lovely this was £10 each but again well worth it. Next dinner. It was ok but nothing more, you have to buy drinks, about 50 Egyptian pounds each and ice cream same price if you want it. We did it was lovely. Then onto the pyramids Tharawat explains all the tricks they try to pull on you just say No thank you and they will leave you alone and move on to someone else. At the pyramids you are offered a camel ride or horse carriage to a vantage point for the nine pyramids this costs £10 each. You are gently coerced into this without really being given the chance to refuse and I should have (but didn’t) because I felt it’s cruel to the animals but it’s your call. Then picture with Sphinx. After this it’s the obligatory perfume and papyrus factories where there is no real pressure to buy. I think there is a lot of value to these places and if your bartering skills are good there are bargains to be had😜. Just one quick note on this: we had our sun cream, water and 50ml spray confiscated at Hurghada airport which stopped me buying any perfume at the shop. They insisted it would be fine taking it back but I didn’t want to risk it. I didn’t see anyone getting stopped at Cairo airport. I hope this helps. Lastly we were taken back to the restaurant where we had dinner and taken up to a terrace where you could see the sunset behind the pyramids absolutely beautiful and a nice touch. Then an hour drive back to the airport and an hour wait for the flight. All in all fantastic tour, very long day but well filled with plenty of activities. Take a few extra pennies because you will need them and enjoy. Remember people are trying to make a living and in doing so I think they are enhancing your experience so enjoy.

2 day trip to Luxor from Makadi Bay & day trip to Sharm El-Naga
I am so glad we booked our trip through English Book Tour; having been to Egypt and Luxor before, we knew what we wanted to do on this trip. We got what we asked for and more! We were picked up in a car from our hotel in hurghada and driven to Luxor and we had the same driver for the whole 2 days. When we met our guide, Mahmoud Nour, we were immediately put at ease with his friendly manner and smile. His English was impeccable and his knowledge in Egyptology was astounding; all with such enthusiasm and passion that we could not help but be completely engaged the whole time. Our personalised itinerary consisted of: DAY 1 The Colossi of Memnon The Valley of the Kings Queen Hatshepsut Temple Lunch at the Banana Plantation Check in at our 4* hotel (this hotel was not great however, our room smelt of stale cigarettes, could not get the TV to work, the safe was locked - the pool was the best thing about this hotel, but it was just for one night so we coped) Our guide also booked, at our request.... City Tour by Horse and Carriage Karnack Sound and Light Show DAY 2 Our guide arranged for us to take a Hot Air Balloon Ride at dawn Luxor Temple Karnack Temple Lunch Then return to a Hurghada by 6pm Overall, we had an amazing time in Luxor, certainly made better by our fantastic guide. I can highly recommend this company to everyone, they catered to our every need and we felt safe throughout the 2 days. SHARM EL-NAGA This was a fantastic place to visit. Our driver/guide collected us from our hotel and was very helpful in taking us to our sun loungers, showing us facilities etc. The beach and coral was lovely, we had a fantastic day here and would return. The supplied lunch was great, enough for everyone. If you want a relaxing day at the beach, then I can highly recommend this trip

Excellent and Exciting Adventure
We celebrated our anniversary yesterday morning by going on this unique excursion. It was amazing! We are in our late 70s and had never been on a quad, but the guides were very helpful and considerate. My only caution, especially to women is to wear a very tight bra and long pants because you will bounce on the seat, and the quad are hot. Have a super time!

Excellent trip - and good value too!
We'd been to Cairo before as a couple in 1998, with young sons in 2012 and weren't planning on doing so again, as we were staying in Sahl Hasheesh for only a week. However at the last minute we decided it was too good an opportunity to miss....and booked 4 x day trips directly rather than going through our hotel travel agent ( 50% more to do it that way and less flexible on dates). Ahmed was very helpful in terms of helping us make the reservation, and the communications from him via Whatsapp were excellent. The driver picked us up as planned at 04.00 and we were back in our hotel about 23.30. A long day, however we covered the Egyptian Museum, Trip on the Nile, Lunch, Pryamids, Camel rides, trip to Papyrus shop and perfume shop (!). Friends in the hotel took a long minibus, didn't see as much as we did and were back about 1.30 the next morning. I'd definitely suggest doing it the way we did. Tips for other travellers 1. Ask hotel for breakfast ( we didn't but many people on our plane did) 2. In April, take more layers. It's pretty cool on the return journey 3. It can take a long time to get to the airport at the end of the day and you do have quite a long wait until your 22.30 flight so ask your driver to stop in Cairo so you can buy food/snacks to eat at the airport. 4. Take small change (one dollar bills fine) for tips for use of toilets etc. Also, it'r worth stressing we felt extremely safe at all times. #Egypytissafe

Amazing experience
When I arrived in Egypt I wanted to book my excursions ASAP as I was only visiting for 6 days. I did read about book tour on trip advisor prior to going and found a lot of positive reviews. Once I was in hurghada I wanted to shop around for the best deals. All quotes I received were very high and I wanted best for my money. We booked a day trip to Luxor for £45 each defo worth the money only downside by traveling by road is that it is very tiring but not the tour operators fault. We were two English couples and we had our own tour guide who spoke fluent English. She was very helpful I think her name was nidda. We also booked a day trip to Cairo by plane which costed us £134 each. Well worth traveling by plane however the plane coming back was at 22:30 and we finished our tour at 17:30. The tour guide was amazing and funny he also arranged us to go to the souk so we didn’t wait around in the airport for too long. I have to recommend book tour as it was the cheapest considering we were quoted £270 each for Cairo. Downside to my excursion to Cairo is you are provided with lunch who only supply a little food which isn’t enough to be shared between 4 people. As you spend a whole day with them you need to find breakfast and dinner yourself. Overall very satisfied and would book tours with them again

Luxor by bus from Hurghada
We booked the Luxor by bus 1 day tour from Hurghada and they picked us up from Makadi Bay. The tour was very good! A lot of things to fit in a small time frame but we really enjoyed it. They picked us up in a minivan for 14 persons but we were only 8 people in the van so there was a lot of space. Since we were the only english speaking on the tour we got our own private guide for the whole day when we arrived in Luxor! Our guide Mohamed was very informative and knowledgeable and the day was just great!
