Marsa alam Sataya rif snorkeling with dolfins
We had a great day we traveled by small bus from Marsa Alam (Hilton) to Amata there we went on board the boot MariaM together with others and a very friendly crew. Next we started a 2.5 hour boot trip to the Sataya rif. Upon arrival we then went into the rubber boat and traveled a 500 meters to the location where we dropped into the water between dolphins and had a great experience. We had a great lunch on board an all was well taken care of a real 5 Starr trip thanks to the organisation excursiesegypte Ahmed Khalil and not to forget crew and captain on the MariaM

Perfect start to holiday. Saw turtle and dugong
Picked up from hotel and transported to the beautiful boat. Sun deck on top with Nubian entertainment on the way back in the dark. Middle deck beautifully decorated and food was delicious and plentiful. Lower deck glass sided to see corals fish and even got to see turtle and a dugong. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Snorkelling was excellent. Highly recommended

A must trip
We took the cruise on our holiday and it was a trip to remember made extra special by the staff and especially Zac. We snorkelled and even saw turtles, which my daughter swam with and also saw sea cows. The under water viewing is amazing. Food was a choice of fish or chicken which was good and soft drinks were also included. Thank you for a trip to remember.

TRANSFERS AND DAY TRIP TO LUXOR
We used Marsa Alam tours for our transfers and day trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam in September. Communication with Ahmed was always very professional and he spoke very good English. He was always helpful and quick with replies. Our transfers were always on time and the mini buses were very pleasant with good air conditioning which is a must ! We also did a day tour to Luxor which was amazing ! The driver was early for our collection from the hotel and when we got to reception he was waiting for us so we could start our day a little earlier which was good. The day ran very smoothly. Luxor is an amazing place and one that should be experienced. Please be aware though .. for anyone wishing to visit Luxor our guide told us that the only currency accepted at any of the sites is now Egyptian Pound. When we visited a few years back they accepted different currencies but apparently now this is not the case. As we can no longer exchange into Egyptian Pounds in England this posed a problem to us. The driver & guide exchanged some money into Egyptian notes to be able to use toilets, pay for Tut's tomb, boat trip etc ... It is a very long day but really worth it ! Thanks Marsa Alam Tours for an excellent service !

Masar alam excursies
super safari and boat trip snorkeling from port Ghalib, contact Mohamed about the excursions. Explains everything well and everything arranged well. Respond directly to questions. We had booked the super safari. And that was certainly super! neatly picked up at the hotel, we did not know what to expect but the tour guide arranged everything well, first quad driving and then to the desert with the jeep. Visit the Bedouin and sunset. Then with the jeep back and enjoy delicious food and a show with a dancer and belly dancer. We would do the boat trip to hamata, but my friend got sick, no problem we couldn't do and luckily a boat trip on Monday with snorkeling. was also well cared for. almost a private trip, few people. The underwater world was a bit disappointing, the reef at the hotel nicer. It was windy. because you came far from the boat with snorkeling you were picked up with a rubber boat, you were then pulled in, you must have no defects because then it will be difficult. all in all well arranged through masar alam tours.

Great tour!
After a week-long liveaboard, I took a day tour to Luxor from Port Ghalib. It was a very comfortable ride to Luxor, and the tour guide was excellent! Overall a very good experience.

St Catherine's Monastery
Hello everyone My favourite highlight was meeting TUI Hotel Rep-Sammi. He spoke about fantastic Excursions, which I will do next time I visit, hopefully in the not too distant future. At the end of the meeting he said "any questions please ask". I don't think he was prepared for my request! This was a 'holiday' with a purpose. Sammi after hearing that I wanted to go to St. Catherine's Monastery, Sinai Mountain, he moved heaven and earth for best travelling method and cost effective too. Sammi arranged through Marsa Alam Tours, a private taxi to pick me up and take me to Hurgarda Airport 4hrs away. Sameh was a safe and friendly driver and I learnt so much about Egyptian Culture. Flew to Sharm el Sheikh and stayed over night in hotel, supporting local people. Friendly and good food. Up at 5 to be collected again by private taxi driver 'Mina' and private tour guide Henni. Around 4hrs again with friendly staff, felt safe and learnt more about the people in Egypt. At St. Catherine's Monastery greeted with their lovely Red Hibiscus Tea. Sammi arranged for me to go on a Friday, usually closed but I was allowed in. Met and kissed the hand of the Greek Orthodox Priest. I was given the keys for the Monastery. Henni gave me private tour and it went beyond my expectation. Had photo taken in front of Moses's Burning Bush with the Priest. The purpose of this trip, was to say prayers for my very sick husband Andrew, our wonderful Pastors and Church. The Priest and Henni also prayed with me. I felt very Blessed that this actually took place. Thanks Sammi, a truly remarkable man. When Henni and I came out, wow there was a camel. Henni took picture of me standing and sitting on him. He was making such lovely noises. Then sadly drive back to Sharm el Sheikh Airport, flew to Hurgarda Airport and as requested, got Sameh same driver. This wonderful man, took me to his family home, met the family and his Mother made a lovely meal for us. Again I have been Blessed by Christian drivers/tour guide and family members. Sameh then drove me around his town, very humbling and we went to their local fruit/veg Market, which was huge. We got some local guavas. Such great hospitality. Then 4hr drive back to TUI Sensimar Alaya-Marsa Alam-Egypt. It was all over so quickly but, I had a wonderful Blessed time and had the opportunity of meeting such lovely people. I will always remember this Special Trip. As a single woman travelling on my own, Sammi went beyond the call of duty, making this trip possible, arranging fantastic people and keeping me safe at all times. I will be Eternally Grateful to him. Sammi also held an old Egyptian Language Course which you are taught the basics. I hope I did not insult anyone too much, who I practised with but, hopefully in second week I became a little better with the different phrases. I highly recommend Marsa Alam Tours for your excursions.

Amazing Nile Cruise with transfer from Marsa Alam airport
The tour organization by Ahmed of Marsa Alam Tours was perfect. Upon arrival at Marsa Alam airport early in the morning we met 2 drivers waiting for us. The travel to Aswan was very long, anyway the van was comfortable and the kids slept the most of the time. In Aswan we have been welcomed by Hares, our private guide who speaks Italian very well. Hares is a very nice person and a passionate expert of Ancient Egypt history and mythology that was always available to satisfy our curiosities. First thing we left our luggages and had lunch on the boat, the classic and charming Royal Princess. We got 2 rooms connected each other, so we could stay close to our children while still keeping our privacy. Then we finally started our 3 days visit in this fascinating region so rich of temple, tombs and nice people that from now on will be part of our memories. Life on boat is also very nice, cabin crew is easygoing and food is good, the terrace always offers a very relaxing and fresh view of the Nile. Thank you Marsa Alam Tours, this is a travel we will bring in our hearts forever.

Lot of wasted time
Flew to Cairo, everything was great, the guide was there waiting for us at 07:00. We went to the pyramids and got there for 08:00 where we spent around 2 hours, which now puts us at 10:00am. From between that time and leaving, all we done was go to the museum and get some really bad food to eat (we both had bad stomachs the next day also). I think all in all, about 2 hours of the day was spent doing absolutely nothing. Unless you want to spend 3/4 hours in a museum there is a lot of time wasted on this trip. Perhaps because it was just the two of us, we went through it all quicker but considering the cost was 190 pounds per person, I felt The guide himself was great, he was full of knowledge and answered the things we asked.

Brilliant trip
My wife booked this trip Hurghada city tour, very last minute. The car was on time, we had car , driver and the very knowledgeable Mohamed as our tor guide. He was pleasant and engaging full of interesting facts, he showed us round the church, the headland view, the largest Muslim place of worship. Then the fruit and veg market, we bought cinnamon for a fraction of the price, then the fish market, the hustle and bustle colours and smells it was a fantastic experience, one that we would not have done without the great tour guide. We will book with them again. Thank you Mohamed for looking after us and showing us a part of real Egypt

Hurghada City Tour from Makadi
I booked online whilst in Makadi Bay on Tuesday 11th hoping to find a trip for the next day which is very short notice and found Marsa Aslam Tours. I booked and received an email confirmation straight away with our tickets which I was impressed with. Our car arrived on time and we were pleased to find out it was just for me and my husband, our guide, Mohamed Khalil introduced himself and explained how our afternoon was going to be. We left the suggestions to him and told him we wanted to see the real Egypt. We had a quick stop to see the old hotel the president had used and some scenic views of the red sea. We then drove to a Christian church and from there confined our tour by walking. Crossing the roads was scary but Mohamed led the way and told us to 'walk like an Egyptian ' which had us laughing . We visited a Mosque and I had to wear a full length robe and cover my head before entering the Mosque. The photos we got are Fab! We then visited the Souk which was an overload of the senses. So much fruit and veg, Hustle and bustle and noise. We would not have gone in if we had been on our own. We managed to buy some cinnamon after a translation problem it's not called cinnamon in Egypt. We bought a large bag for the equivalent of £2,00 and it is so much nicer than the jars we get in the UK. We visited a fish market down by the new marina where Mohamed told us that the fishermen had lost their houses to make way for the brand newly built marina for tourists. The marina was ok, full of restaurants and coffee bars but it felt very commercial . The trip took around 3 hours including the journey and we decided not to visit the shopping mall which is included. We really enjoyed this trip, Mohamed was an excellent and friendly guide and we have no hesitation in recommending Marsa Aslam Tours and will book another trip with them when back in Hurghada next year,

Day tour from Makadi to Luxor
This is my third visit to Egypt, and I had never been to Luxor before, so before we flew - we booked our trips with Marsa Alam Tours. They messaged me the day before, confirming our time of pick up (5:30am) and were greeted on time by two drivers. It's around 4 hours in the mini van, and our drivers stopped half way to get breakfast and we stretched our legs, avoiding the sellers inside trying to sell scarves (you also had to pay to use the toilet). Continuing our journey, we drove down to Qena and through to Luxor, and our driver was very knowledgeable about places to see and explaining certain sites along the way. In Luxor, we were greeted by Hassam, who was a brilliant guide and spoke excellent English. We saw the Karnak temple, Luxor temple, drove a motor boat along the Nile, had a buffet lunch (you just pay for your drink, which was around £2), saw the Colossi of Menmon, Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatsheput's temple, alongside visiting an Alabaster shop who were all nice and not pushy - we even got a free coke/sprite from them! We visited at the beginning of September and it was incredibly hot, remember to bring a hat, suncream, lots of water and I took a shawl to cover my shoulders from getting burned. Hassam was an amazing guide, with lots of information about each place we visited. It's amazing to see the ancient history come to life. In the valley of the kings, a tip is to not pay for the 300LE photo passes, as in the three tombs we visited - as we were only a couple and not a big group - the guard inside would take our phone to take photos of us and allow us into places that big groups don't go, such as standing inside where the sarcophagus was or clambering over fences into different rooms. Pay him 50LE afterwards and he was happy. We left Luxor around 15:30 and began our journey back to Makadi and we stopped at the same place that we stopped at on the way. However, this time, the van broke down and we were left sat in the roadside cafe whilst people tried to fix it. The people there were very accommodating and friendly, especially as they were now off of work and eating their dinner. After two hours or so, a mechanic who was visiting the cafe managed to fix the van luckily! We arrived back to our hotel around 9pm. We had booked Cairo and the desert safari with Marsa Alam Tours also, however my partner was ill on those days, but the tour company was very accommodating and allowed us to receive our money back for the Cairo trip. We will now be returning to Egypt to do Cairo and the desert safari, and we will book with Marsa Alam Tours again.
