- carmelas7680 contributionsOnce in a life time - well worth the hike!An amazing experience, truly amazing views and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Well worth the hike! The hike is 3 hours and is quite challenging so bear this in mind. If you’re staying in Sharm it is a good 2-3 drive there and back and the bus isn’t comfortable but it’s worth it in the end! Toilets stops on the way which you need cash for. So definitely bring cash!! Especially if you want a coffee as you’re hiking up (which you will). Secondly, it’s Freezing cold and windy at the top. Definitely bring a jacket, a hat maybe and I wouldn’t recommend shorts.Written 10 April 2023
- Windrunner19850 contributionsNon existent communicationSo I book the all day snorkelling trip to read Mohammed national park with avios points through British airways about 2 weeks before we arrived this was 1 of 3 trips booked. I waited a few days for an email to confirm they had received my booking. I already had emails from my other 2 trips to confirm it was received which hotel I was staying at and what time I would be picked up at and where I would be picked up from either in hotel lobby or main gates. I sent an email and sending a message on Facebook and leaving messages on their Facebook page. A few days before setting off to Egypt I get confirmation that they had my booking. I asked if they had a time when they would be picking me up for the excursion they said they'd let me know the day before my trip. The day before my trip I spent an hour trying to ring and contact them by messenger but I heard nothing. Come 11pm the night before I tried ringing again to see if I got through to someone and I finally did. They confirmed a time and asked for pictures of my passport which I gave. The day of the trip a taxi picked me up and a few other guests from other hotels we were told nothing there was no rep to greet us and tell us what was happening. We got to the docks and a guy from the snorkelling company welcomed us and told us the plan. The trip itself was amazing we went snorkeling twice and went to white island which is literally just a. Tiny strip of beach in the middle of the red sea. We had a lunch of grilled chicken rice and pasta and salad. You could help yourself to drinks and fizzy pop. The trip started from 8am till 5pm and at no point did we ever see anyone from get your holiday. I would advise using a diff company to book this trip as this one has no Customer service.Written 3 July 2022
- hassanabbasi0 contributionsBeautiful experienceAmazing and well organised trip, with lunch provided. Diving options are super affordable and the divers are really helpful, especially Ahmed, i dived with him twice on the same trip and he made it an amazing experience. However, one of the photographers were really aggressive, when he saw i was taking pictures of my friends on white island, approached me and confronted me, even after i had said sorry he wouldnt stop, and kept going on in arabic coz he thought i could understand egyptian arabic. There was no prior announcements as to whether you can take pictures of your friends or not, everybody had their cameras out. At the end, my friends felt bad and had to buy the pictures off him, i dont know his name but he was the chubby one with curly hair and couldn't speak English, so something to keep in mind. Worth trying, you wont regret it.Written 2 February 2022
