A super day out. Despite the large number of boats going out, it was all very well organised and we felt very safe with the staff. The scuba diving was carefully done and the reef was incredible. Don't be put off by the number of boats and people - it's still really worth going!

I booked a tour trek to Mount Sinai and St Catherine monastery. The agent was immediately in contact with me confirming the pick up time and place. The tour start 8:00 pm pick up time then assembled together with the other guest in one convenient tour bus. The actual time of the trek after more than 3 hours drive and start just after midnight all the way to Mount Sinai around 7km one way. I categorise this trek as medium to slight difficulty but don’t worry you got plenty of time and stopover in the Bedouin coffee shops have coffee or tea. I like the fact that this tour helps the local Bedouin by hiring them as a local guide from the start of the trek and back. This tour utilised sustainability by helping local Bedouin to have incomes. Please bare in mind when you get there try to help them by buying foods and drinks. It might bit expensive but consider the transport of the goods enable to give the guest a convenient trek and experience. Overall it was a great experience of a lifetime. Few tips, bring light warm clothes and proper trekking shoes to avoid injury. Carry your rubbish back to your hotel or throw in the designated bins. Don’t forget to give extra tips for the driver and tour guides as every little helps. Special mention to the bus tour guide and driver for keeping the tour safe and informative. I will rate it as 5* as it help the locals in term of sustainability and livelihood.

We were picked up at 19.35 and got back to the hotel around 13.45. When you are booking this tour you have to know that its a long tour. Also its worth mentioning its 7km up the mountain and 7km back down so 14km trip all together. The road to the top of the mountain has many loose rocks so wear comfortable hiking shoes or trainers. You can rent a camel if you get tired but i have no idea about the price. On the mountain there are 5 coffee shops where stop 3 and 5 have toilets that cost 20EGP. In the monastery they also have toilet that is 1€ or 1$. If you dont have enough drinks or snacks you can buy them on the mountain. There are 750 steps to the last part of the hike 600 of them you have to take to get to the 5th coffee shop were we had a break. In the 5th shop you can also rent a blanket for 3€/$ if you get too cold or buy a poncho for 5$( you can also buy the poncho in the beginning of the hike). For me it was fine to go to the top with a hoodie because it was like 12° but before we got to the top we had like a 40min break and im happy i brought my winter coat with me because there i was feeling the cold. We got on top of the mountain like around 04.00 and then waited like an hour to wait for the sun to rise and then came back down to the monastery what opened 08.45. The sunrise was beautiful although we had to wait a bit long to see it. We had little breaks during the hike up so we could catch our breath. I reccommend being in the first half of the group while going up then you can rest longer until the end of the group catches up. Coming back down was easy.

We booked the sunrise day trip to St. Catherine from Sharm Elsheikh. 1. They charged $10 entry fees for both foreigners & locals which is a rip off. the actual fees is $1 for locals and $5 for foreigners. my son is 16 years old and still they charged him for an adult $10 and not even a student fees. 2. The day before we got confirmation of the pick up time at 9PM, however, on the day of the trip afternoon, I got a message asking me to be available for pick up at 8PM. when I shared screen shots of the previous communication, the coordinator insisted that 8PM is the right time with no apology or reasonable explanation of the time change which caused us to skip dinner. he kept sharing trip discerptions from other website, Although on booking.com where I booked, it did not mention any pick up time and the only time I received was through the communication the day before! 3. The pick up was too early as we ended up waiting for 1.5Hrs on top of the mountain for the sunrise, which was very cold and uncomfortable. 4. We were 2nd guest to be picked up in a small van and there were 2 more guests with us who were picked up from near by. however on the way back, they exchanged us with another large bus with +30 people and different route, we ended up being the last to drop which added extra hour to our trip. 5. The trip discerption is very vague, so I asked how big is the tour, they said 25 people. although on the day of the trip we were +33 people which matters when you get picked up/dropped off. luckily, we had a good group who were always on time whenever we stopped for breaks. 6. Defiantly do not tip the guides, as they will charge you for anything on the trail. they will make you pay to wait inside the rest house or to use the restrooms or even to use a blanket, plus hot drinks are over priced. you may think this is their business and how they make a living, but, no, as an Egyptian who works in the travel industry, it is considered "Hospitality", and they guides are well paid since those tours are not cheap.

I really enjoyed that trip, and agency is helpful and guide, new and comfortable buses, I recommend this trip to Cairo ☺️ 😊

My brother and I had only planned to go snorkeling at the white island in Shalm, however when being warming welcomed on board the Masa diving boat, we recieved a very comprehensive and friendly invitation to experience diving for the first time. It was very reasonably priced and I can honestly say the experience was breath taking. We saw an abundance of fish and fully trusted the instructors considering they had over 20 + years experience. Boat was very clean, food was ok. Drinks included. Thank you for a great day. Would highly recommend for the price. Thanks

Great day out and well worth the money , camel ride only a short distance though and quads are followed in a straight line by leader so don’t think you can go and ride as fast as you want in the desert, still a good day out though

Very nice tour! Beautiful reef, nice personnel. Note that the sea in March is a bit cold for young children, they could not stay long snorkeling. Thanks for the experience.

The best part of my trip, however be prepared for the cold and the dust. I had a breath taking experience. The guide was the best. Held my hand and guided me in tricky parts of the climb. Don’t do the camels unless you really need to. My legs aches considerably days after but very well worth it!

Wonderful trip / treck with an amazing sun rise experience at the summit. Our guide was really nice and encouraging when we were tired. He proposed many stops and also helped me climb at some points. Although I was able to finish the trek and arrive at the top in the morning with my 12 years old son, it was physically challenging to me, it requires physical fitness ! Arriving at the top and experiencing the wonderful sunrise and view recharges you automatically. We came back with lovely memories and pictures. The church visit was also great, the guides speaks many languages and are very interesting.

Paid double in the tui hotel £100 for 3. Paid half through booking.com because we liked so much. The service start to finish was amazing was the same excursion aswell

The team on board were so friendly and helpful throughout! It was first time diving for some of us and they were so supportive and patient with us and really helped us feel at ease in the water. The trip was well organised and ran to time. Lunch was great and catered well to vegetarians! Would definitely recommend!
