Shilt locates inside the Great Himalayan National Park which is most renowned destination for wildlife worldwide.This trek is mainly for wildlife spotting, nature lover
One can spott many of the birds like westeren tregopan, four different species of pheasants found inside and by surrounding of the park, most often is to be spotted that is Monal a generous bird in the higher forests.
Raptors are commonly spotted in the park area are as himalayan griffons, bulters and golden eagles.
An ample different varieties of birds around 210 species are found in the Great Himalayan National Park.
Trek will start from the Gushaini village market.
Pleasant trek by the bank of the Tirthan river and dense forests on first day of trip and from second day trek will go upwards to the moderate to streneous gradient till Shilt.
Day 1: Aut to Gushaini (1500 M) to Entry Gate of GHNP or Rollah (2100 M)
On first day of trek trail will lead very soft and easy through the dense forests, by the bank of the Tirthan river and some of small villages on the way till the first day halt base camp at Rollah.
Time: 5 approx
Accommodation: Tents + Toilets tent +Camp fire at Night
Food: Bed Tea + Breakfast + Packed Lunch + Snacks + Dinner.
Day 2: Rollah to Shilt (3100 M)
Second day of trek after breakfast and pack lunch will continue towards Shilt. Trail leads moderate upto shilt and through the dense forests and enjoy the spotting of birds on the go. By evening will get back to basecamp at Rollah

Day 3: Rollah to Gushaini to Aut
Distance: 8 Km on Foot and 32 kms drive back
