Alappuzha is a landmark between the broad Arabian Sea and the web of rivers flowing into it. It is a town in the Alappuzha District in the southern Indian state of Kerala. Lord Curzon, the Viceroy of the Indian Empire, made a visit to Alappuzha in the early 20th century fascinated by the scenic beauty of the place and said 'here nature has spent up on the land her richest bounties.'

After the pickup from Kochi Port or at your hotel at 10:30am, you will be transferred to Alappuzha. After you check in, a motor boat will transfer you to board the houseboat around 12:00pm - 12.30pm. The houseboat will slowly begin cruising through the backwaters and village area of Alappuzha, passing paddy fields and coconut palms. Main meals will be served on board. Stay overnight on the houseboat.
The cruise will finish at 9:00am. You will then be transfer back to Kochi Port or your hotel in Kochi by 11:00am.
