The tour was just amazing. It was non touristic and everything was just planned out so well that we could enjoy the best day and evening in the desert. The freshly cooked food, the sunrise and the stars and the camels of course will stay forever in my heart. The group just went along so well together and it was just so nice to share this beautiful experience with other people and also organizer was there with us and he was incredibly welcoming and it was so fun with everyone!!

The trio organized for us was really nice with visited few tourist places for the photo shoots and after to enjoy the non touristy part without hassle-free sand dune was very nice . Thank vijay for recommending us.

We spent a beautiful day in the desert in a very peaceful area, amazing landscapes, very kind people and the feeling of doing something different from the typical tourist safari. I recommand it to the people who want to experience the true desert of Rajasthan.

Loved the off beat path taken for the safari. We spotted 20 deers on our way. The evening snacks was amazing. Devi Lal Ji, our guide, cooked it himself. Watched the sunset with no other people around. It was just 6 of us. Devi Lal ji is a heavy driver for sure.

I had a great experience joining the camp safari. The manager Akshay is very accommodating and the price is reasonable. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a desert safari camp to go with them. Much cheaper than with the agent on the street/market.

Opted for a half day camel safari and had the best time! Started with a ride in a jeep to an abandoned village, onwards to an oasis and further to another village after which we switched to camels. Enjoyed an hour long ride on the backs of the camels with scenic views and no crowds around us. After the camel ride left us on the dunes to enjoy a quiet and peaceful sunset, we were served tea and snacks. Eventually we were provided freshly cooked tasty dinner and finished off the evening with another cup of tea before being brought back to the hotel. As a last day activity for our vacation, this was the best experience we could have ended the trip with. Can absolutely recommend the Shahi Palace camel safari experience for their hospitality, friendliness, tasty and delicious food, and the quiet location in the desert!

I came solo but ended up having a very fun girl’s time with another 2 ladies. We chose to sleep outdoor while stargazing. I love the sunrise it was stuning although it was so so cold in the morning time but this is definitely one of the best moment ever! And our guide Vijay done an excellent job ;) thanks a lot and i wont forget the memories in Jaisalmer.

My desert trip with shahi palace is very good. I did tour with other tourist as I was femal traveling solo. The jeep ride and camel ride is fun. I also like the sunset over the sand dune and camel standing in middle for good photos. I wanted to spend the night but has no time. Wi come back again for longer stay and will spend the night.

It was a wonderful experience that I couldn't paraphrase. I enjoyed the day with a perfect starry sky and wonderful staff. On this tour, you can enjoy nature, living things and thrills at once. They will also lend you tents to keep out the cold, and you will definitely visit again. I recommend it to you first when you come to India.

Shahi palace is popular name and we heard lots about it from different people. WWE also decided to make our holidays with them and book over night desert safari . The experience is unforgettable. The owner Dev bhai mange very good trip for us . We had great night under star moon on the sand dune . I am already planed the next trip with friends.

Looking to leave my accommodation in a hurry I contacted Akshay at Shahi Palace Hotel. In 15mins I’d organised my entire day, including pick up and a night in the dessert on a Jeep safari. To make sure I was there in time to catch the sunset and see all the things on the itinerary, Akshay picked me up after my walk to the fort, took me to see a haveli, and then fixed me a turban, making sure I had all i I needed for my trip. Sandy, from a desert village, took me in the jeep, dropping me off at various locations to look around and explaining lots on the way. We picked up Deepy at a village, where I met a beautiful family, who offered me millet chappati and khadi, both yummy. The three of us set off to the dunes, I to watch the sunset and to eat an open fire cooked thali of dal, veg and goat milk dhai, chappatis and rice. We talked and laughed under the starry sky looking out for shooting stars, before each settling down for the night in the peace of the dessert. Waking at day break, watching the sunrise, enjoying a masala chai, daliya, toast and fresh fruit for breakfast in the dunes was so refreshing after the pollution and noise of the cities. I wanted to stay longer. As a solo female traveler I didn’t at any time feel unsafe, and on the way back we again stopped by the welcoming family in the village. I enjoyed the experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. It was truly special. If there’s a next time I’m staying longer.

It was good experience sleeping under star moon as it was without fullmoon night sobi could see more star .i slept few times out but never on sand dune and never seen that many star . I will come back with my family .

I did half day desert trip to shahi palace camp sand dune . it was good . no other people ,only our group from hotel. We have good sunset . our guide were friendly.
