This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Join Neeta and her khansama (family cook) in their kitchen and learn to cook traditional Rajasthani dishes. Neeta acts as a translator while her cook teaches you how to make dishes such as Ker sangri (a traditional Rajasthani dish made with dried ker berry and sangri beans), dal (lentils), steamed rice or chapati (flatbread) and gatte ki sabzi (gram flour dumplings in a yogurt gravy). Enjoy the traditional Rajasthani dishes your have cooked at Neeta’s dining table during your experience. You will end your meal with a sweet Indian dessert such as laapsi made from nuts, wheat and ghee.
