- U8099AGkarinem0 contributionsGreat guideGreat guide! He is very calm and provides a great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!, with no doubt! Also helped us with transport which was great! I have had other guides, but he is definitely the best so far!!Written 6 October 2024
- corbinianv0 contributionsBeautiful Taj Sunrise-Tour with MosesWe had such an amazing experience with Moses, who did a sunrise tour with us. He knows so much details and one can tell that he really loves the Taj. He is a very nice person and a great photographer as well. Highly recommendable!Written 2 October 2024
- Ambassador6098780 contributionsRain didn’t dampen our Taj Mahal visit experienceOur one day in Agra and it was pouring down torrential rain. We booked a sunrise tour but it was pouring down rain at 4:45am, so Moses our guide texted to postpone, with plenty of advance warning so we could go back to sleep! When we set out at 9:30 it was still pouring, and rained all day long. But the Taj Mahal was spectacular even in torrential downpour, and Moses shared a wealth of information and stories and took excellent photos to document our very wet visit. Moses went above and beyond, even arranging our transport to the Agra Fort and back to our hotel for us. Highest recommendation.Written 14 September 2024
- surajmoorthy0 contributionsHighly recommendedMosses was really helpful on our Taj Mahal and Agra Fort trip. We were traveling with our 2 year old child but Moses was kind enough to help us to understand our needs. He is very much knowledgable about both places including the entry and the history of Taj and Agra.Written 3 September 2024
- 956shaynal0 contributionsYou don't have to look any further than Moses from Agra By BikeOur trip to Agra would not have been complete without Moses as our guide. As our travel plans shifted, Moses was able to be our guide for both Fort Agra and the Taj Mahal. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great guide. As for Taj Mahal specifically, the sunrise tour is the only way to do it. We were able to get in early and avoid the majority of the line for entry and prime photo locations.Written 29 August 2024
- WanderWonderNYC0 contributionsGreat guide, great tour, great experience!Moses totally lives up to the hype! I spent a whirlwind 24 hours in Agra with my 2 kids ages 7 & 14 and Moses guided us through both Fatehpur Sikri and this sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. He was full of great information and helped us navigate through the entries & touts seamlessly. He was also warm, kind, and incredibly patient & flexible with my kids who were curious but also sometimes tired and antsy. In addition, even though we weren’t looking for a ton of photo ops, Moses knew all the best spots for pictures and took over 60 fabulous photos on his own phone that he shared with us at the end!Written 14 August 2024

Moses was such a great guide. We explored some really interesting parts of Agra that I would never have seen on my own. He was really knowledgable and friendly and was great company as a solo traveler. We visited the more rural areas, being introduced to a local family, tasting fresh bread in their home, stunning views of Taj Mahal from a different location. The following day we explored the hustle and bustle of a spice market, an ancient temple and tasted local cuisine for dinner. I will get in touch with Moses when I am next back in India for sure!

Moses was super flexible with our schedule and communication was amazing. We only had time to do 90 minutes but he made the most of it. Moses is also very intelligent and answered all of my questions in ways that helped me understand in my own reference based on an entirely different world experience.
My favorite part was visiting a family in the Taj Forest who showed us how to make chapati and gave us a taste...the best I've ever had! I felt liked I was suddenly immersed in an authentic Indian experience and it was both exhilarating but also humbling.
We also saw many animals along the ride included Ox, cows, monkeys and dogs. I wasn't expecting to see a lot of wildlife. It was a pleasant surprise.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this bike tour. It's not a strenuous bike ride and it felt very safe. This was my second bike tour in another country. The other was in Bangkok. This is a really great way to maximize time, venture into hard to reach areas, and have some fun and fresh air!
Great tour, thank you!!

I made a last minute decision to join the afternoon bike ride as I wasn't in the mood for Agra Fort after an early start for sunrise at the Taj Mahal (I went to Agra Fort the next day and it was amazing by the way!).
I'm really glad I did - it was a lovely respite from the constant hassle with an amazing view of the Taj and a pleasant cycle to a local home where they made us chapati. It was also great to meet and chat with Moses, who is a genuine, warm and knowledgable guy.
One thing to note is that it's not a very long cycle, so may not suit those looking for a more energetic outing, but I'd still recommend it if you have time while in Agra.

Moses and his brother John were perfect hosts. Moses was extremely responsive with the organisation. He was on time and very friendly.
John did my bike tour and he was very gracious. I particularly liked the way the people in the village welcomed us. It’s obvious that this was giving something to the local community without intruding.
I’ll be back with my family!

On this site tour tomorrow was offered on specific date. And could be booked and paid. Organisation quickly responded there was no tour on set date. Payment was returned instantly. Would have been better if tour wasn’t offered.

Great value for money…
Great tour of the countryside around Agra with very special views of the Taj Mahal.
The tour was very relaxed without honking taxi’s or Tuk tuk’s.
John is a great guy who really loves his job.
He also gave us some very useful tips on how to handle things in India.
Thanks John we really enjoyed it!

John was a great guide. Even when I had a flat tire, he made very quick arrangements to get it fixed and we were on our way. We loved riding through the villages, stopping to get a backside view of the Taj. Would highly recommend John!

John designed a special tour for me as it was not my first time in Agra. First he took my on a bike tour in the countryside around Taj to experience real rural life. It was amazing! Later we went to the Old Cithy beyond the Fort for an immersive tour around spice shops, ayurvedic practices and marble shops. John is a passionate guide with hospitality in his DNA. I strongly recommend you a bike tour with him and his brother Moses. Well done guys! Thank you for a great time together!

I don't know where to begin. I'm a 53-yr-old single mom from California, and I was traveling to India for the 1st time. While I'm a seasoned and fearless traveler, going to India alone with my 15-yr-old daughter terrified me. So I called "Agra by Bike" from California, because I didn't know what to expect from India and needed some guidance. I ended up talking to John. I expressed my fears about India, and John immediately started becoming my friend/ India tour guide/researcher/reservation maker.
He advised me where I should go - I was originally going to spend 6 days in Agra, but he advised only spending 3 days in Agra and then going to Varanasi. (keep in mind that this goes against his financial interest, for he makes no $ in me going to Varanasi).
Feeling like I had a friend in India, I became more bold and started feeling so much better about this whole trip. To make a long story short, he made arrangements for getting from the Delhi airport to my hotel (more cheaply than my hotel was offering), made the train reservations for me from Agra to Varanasi for me (for no charge), and literally helped me and my daughter all around Agra all hours of night and day. The village tour by bike was fantastic. But more than that - he became a friend.
He literally made my entire trip. I don't know what I would've done without him. He's just one of those people who -- I can't explain it -- gets pleasure from connecting with and helping people. If he ever comes to California (John - you promised you'd come eventually) I will have him stay in my guest room and show him around with the same care and friendship that he showed me.
John - if you are reading this - thank you! Can't wait to see you in the states. (And pictures are to come)

Hi I am interested in booking your bike tour for 7th November, I also wanted to combine it with a guided tour of the Taj Mahal as well, would you be able to recommend someone that I could go to for this? Would it be possible to do the Taj Mahal tour in the morning and the bike tour in the afternoon? I would be travelling from Delhi on the train.
Thanks for your help :)
