You will be picked up from your hotel in the evening and driven to Sheesh Mahal for dinner. You will be met by the Nawab on your arrival, if he is in residence.
A traditional meal based on family recipes handed down from generation to generation will await you. Essentially, the recipes are from Awadh, which got influenced by the traditional cuisine of the Royal Houses of Hyderabad and Rampur following inter-marriages.
The cuisine of Awadh is native to the city of Lucknow. Kebabs, Kormas, Pulao and rumali rotis are some of the key highlights of this cuisine.
The menu is curated by the family itself and the meals are prepared by family cooks who have served for generations and the women of the house. This royal family has a long and illustrious culinary tradition and is known to be loyal to it even today.
After dinner you will be driven back to your hotel.
