Paradise in Himachal - Tirthan Valley, Awed!
Jul 2016 • Solo
The beauty of this place will just mesmerize you and you would want to live there forever! It is simply breathtaking! I trekked to the Great Himalayan National Park with help from the people at Tirthan Adventures. The entire trek was really beautiful and serene.
Closeby to the Tirthan Holiday Camp, there is a beautiful waterfall and once again I trekked to that with Ashok - a very humble, honest and motivating guide at Tirthan adventures. Bathing under the waterfall is one of the most memorable memory for me from this trip.
Thanks to the owner Atul, who arranged a trek for me to a small village Bandal. The view of the Himalayas from the village was a treat to the eyes. The lush green valleys, the snow peaked himalayas, the little wooden houses, the fresh air, everything was so calming and rejuvenating. It is a must visit for city dwellers looking for a peaceful and relaxed holiday.

I would definitely love to come back here again and would surely stay with Tirthan Adventures.

Tirthan Valley - Simply Awesome
Jun 2016 • Friends
Went on a road trip from Delhi to Tirthan Valley with friends 18th -20th June and stayed at Tirthan Adventure Camp.
The experience was simply out of the world ,it's a gem of a place so near to Delhi yet so far.amazing Virgin roads to drive on!The lurking adventure of driving on the roads with hills on one side and river on another and barely space for 1 car to pass by will sharpen all five senses. The sights and aroma around is simply mesmerising.
We stayed at this place at Gushaini which is 30 kms from Aut 1.5hrs of drive.
About the Stay at the Camp.
LOCATION
The adventure camp enjoys the best location in Gushaini.precisely 30 steps from gurgling tirthan river.the river becomes ur constant companion during the stay.breakfast lunch dinner and bonfire all along the river with pristine blue water.
AMENITIES
Comfortable Swiss camps with attached washrooms.they even had sleepewell mattresses and clean bedsheets which was a surprise luxury at a distant corner of the world
FOOD
Fresh and Sumptuous. The package included meals and the dinner was legendary. Moreover we ordered Trout fish which was caught from the adjoining river
One interesting trivia :the village Gushaini is apparent the 1st village on the banks of tirthan river and the river water is PURE so much so that most of the folks there drink the unadulterated water from river.Just imagine how fresh would be the Trouts bred in these sweet waters
HOST
The place is run by Atul Sharma, a localite with a Bsc in tourism degree.he is a Wikipedia of the place and also facilitates treks and stay in the Great Himalaywn national park.Infact we had some confusion about cost of package and Atul charged us little less than the normal rate which was an amazing gesture.
THINGS to Do
Endless possibilities for all type of travellers. 2N 3D is the minimum requirement and 4N 5D will be appropriate.
Chill at the camp ,bath in the adjoining river (freezinnnng cold water)
Trek to the lake @ jalori pass
Walk up to great Himalayan national park.
Enjoy open skies, bird watch be in the lap of nature.switch off from urban life and feel reconnected with mother earth once again.India is replete with such small pleasure of life.
