About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- D8538HNrachelp0 contributionsA perfect dayOur service was amazing. A full day of adventure with great guides. Beautiful waterfalls and no crowds. We tried many new fruits and the world renowned coffees. Our favorite part was the natural water slide! Would highly recommend to anyone.Written 7 February 2023
- Christophe P0 contributionsAmazing view points and very good guidesThis is exactly what we expect. Our guides were super nice and knew the area. The restaurant at lunch had breath taking view, but beware it is street food and it could disapointed some people. The trekking was nice, bit step but very entertaining.Written 4 November 2022
- Q6619AUdanielb0 contributionsBeautifulBeautiful. It was amazing. The tour guide was really friendly and helpful. The tour is a long day but it worth it. For people they are not in good health will be difficult. There are many stairs and they are not easy.Written 15 September 2022
- kimberleyd6660 contributionsAmazing day. This is an amazing day!! We booked the trip very short notice (the night before) and it was still well organised and timely. Our taxi driver, Made, told us about Balinese culture on the journey. He also showed us around the Ulun Danu Beratan temple which was beautiful and also took some really good pictures of me and my boyfriend throughout. Walking through the Munduk waterfalls trek was an unforgettable experience. Our trekking guide Wayan talked of different plants and fruits throughout the walk and told us of the purpose of the mini temples that are on each individuals land. Being talked through the coffee making process and sampling different coffees was another highlight of the day. Overall a really amazing day, would definitely recommend to friends and family!Written 22 June 2022
- filomenka220 contributionsUnforgettable dayWe contacted Putu per email as the office in Canggu is closed now. He answered immediately and although he was oversees, he helped us to organize our trip. We booked the private sekumpul waterfall tour. Our driver picked us up at 8am. He was very funny lovely man who shared so much about Bali life in such a funny way. He brought us safely to the waterfall area where we met our tour guide Dodi. He made the tour just unforgettable. Such a genuine, loving, warm hearted man with so much knowledge and a great English. He grew up in that area and knew every corner of the jungle. He brought us to two different areas with waterfalls- Fiji waterfalls and then sekumpul. On the way there we caught a rain and he wanted me to wear his flip flops as my shoes were not safe on the rocks. He was walking barefoot for half of the tour although I insisted it to give him back his flip flops. He is also such a great photographer and captured our moments. We had so much fun on the natural water slide He brought us to. And swims in the waterfalls lakes and a romantic lunch on a tree house in the end. And the views.... balm for the soul. Although we had to drive two times two hours on that day to get to the waterfalls and back to Canggu, it was all worth it! Such a beautiful unforgettable day . Thank uuuWritten 11 November 2019
- Jeff B0 contributionsView is worth the hikeLet me start off by saying that this hike is not for the weak. It’s approx 5miles round trip and involves lots of stairs and very high (and intimidating) trails. However, making it down to the falls is amazing. The views and photo opportunities are gorgeous. Highly recommended!!Written 31 October 2018
- Sonya G0 contributionsCoffee/Waterfall/templeAmazing Amazing Amazing!!!! A beautiful day and memory to keep. Awan our driver and guide exceeded all our expectations. Blessed to have this experience.Written 24 October 2018
- Flowbacca0 contributionsVery good but very hard for One day onlyWe booked the One day Package Tour sunrise Tour in Mount Batur/Coffee Tasting/Rafting Tour on Ayung River. All three Events were Great and Worth the Money. But all three Events on One day was pretty hard, because the day Startes at 130 am with the pickup to the Mount Batur and this is a very tough Tour up the mountain, waiting in cold temperatures Till the sun rises and then walking down with hundreds, perhaps a few thousand other tourists who were on the mountain, too. After you‘re back at the car we were very tired and Dirty from all the volcano Rock dust, but Coffee tasting and rafting followed. Everything was Perfect organized, the driver and the guides were gentle and friendly and all 3 events were worth the money, we are very happy to do all this. But all 3 on One day is hard work and you Need to be fit, so don‘t party the Night before. And wear trekking shoes while walking up the mountain and have fresh warm clothes in your backpack which you can put on while waiting for the sunrise. It‘s really damn cold on the mountain till the sun rises and all tourists start making their typical photos for their Instagram channels by mobile phone or their drones.Written 28 September 2018
- czaplint0 contributionsDrop everything and do Bali TrekkingSeriously one of the best experiences of my young life!! Our guide, Ady, was so kind, knowledgeable and had a great eye for photographic moments. We did the Waterfall Tour— would definitely recommend bringing water shoes and something to keep your phone waterproof (LifeProof case, for example) because you’re going to want to explore and you’re going to want to take lots of photos/videos! Highly, highly, highly recommend ! All you have to do is tell them where you want to be picked up and they take care of the rest!Written 3 September 2018
- Becki A0 contributionsBreathtaking fallsMy mother and I loved every second of our trip! The waterslide was a blast and the hike through the rice fields was amazing. The waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking and well worth the hike into the valley! Thank you so much for the unforgettable day!Written 19 July 2018
- Govardhan B0 contributionsExceptional Trek and great guidance! Our guide Mory was very helpful! He lead us through rice terraces, water slides, coffee plantations and the two falls Air Terjun Grombong and Air Terjun Fiji. These are such amazing waterfalls. The trail and terrain leading up to the waterfall was enamored with unique views of steep forests! If you are young and moderately fit, and have a whole day to spend, this trip shouldn't be missed! Thanks Bali Trekking Trails!Written 4 July 2018
- virsuyama0 contributionsLemukih WaterfallPutu has showed me the best trekking site in Bali. Lemukih village has two awesome waterfalls and natural waterslide which gave us a great adventure and fresh and peace of ambience with local dishes provided near the location. And again thank you for the great opportunity to enjoy your best service and the best nature of BaliWritten 1 September 2017
- James_10KRose0 contributionsFantastic tourI had been recommended this company by a friend and they didn't disappoint. Putu picked us up from our accommodation, he was a great driver and answered all our questions about Bali. We had a different guide for the trek and he was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend the 3 waterfall trek, saw 3 stunning waterfalls and could swim in one of them. The trek took about 2 and a half hours. We then had lunch at a beautiful spot looking over a lake. Overall a great experience.Written 13 August 2017
- christineritter240 contributionsSekumpul Waterfall trekking tourThe Waterfall is so beautiful. we had an amazing day. Our guide Komang Oka who picked us from our hotel in Ubud was so lovely. He brought us to the start point for the trekking tour which is roughly an hour drive from Ubud. At the start point of the trail another guide was waiting for us. Also a very nice guy. After we arrived at he waterfall he unpacked fresh fruits we never had before. And we had a very nice picknick. It was great. He even got up a coconut tree an got a coconut for us! Thank you for an amazing experience!Written 12 April 2017
- Lauren T0 contributionsBEST MONEY SPENT ALL TRIPPutu, the owner of Bali Trekking Trails is so nice and accommodating! I found him through a friend who recently moved to Bali. I chose the there sightseeing all day tour which you get to customize where you go! Putu (our drive, not the owner) was so fantastic! He was willing to go to all the places we asked, even added a few things that were on the way like a coffee plantation and a great traditional Balinese restaurant on the rice fields. When we got to one of our last stops (rice terraces) it started pouring rain and Putu suggested we wait it out for a little while. As the rain started to lighten up, he even went out to see if it would be good enough for photo taking before having us get out of the car. This trip was literally the best money I've spent since visiting Bali and when I return for another vacation I will definitely be hiring Putu's Bali Trekking Trails again! THE BEST IN BALI!!!!!!!Written 25 January 2017

Our driver was prompt and courteous. He took us to Ulun Danu Temple first which was excellent as it was still quiet, think it could get very busy here and we weren't bothered by vendors. Lovely spot. Our walk was very nice, the forest guide was a local lady who used to bring food out to the pylon construction crews when she was a very young girl. Our view of Lake Buyan was difficult due to a combination of high water levels and a fallen tree blocking access to the shore. The forest/jungle was very pleasant and the walk was very easy and informative. Our access to Pura Dale Tamblingan was blocked by an unfriendly dog who we decided could not be argued with as she had the high ground and wasn't in a giving mood. Enjoyed the canoe trip across the lake, the driver was there to meet us at the end. Lunch was in a simple restaurant with tables across the road overlooking the lake, food was good and the fruit smoothies were excellent. A good day out, perhaps a bit expensive but a long journey from Ubud has to be taken into account so not complaining. Found this tour on the internet before we left home, could not find this or a similar trip at any Tour operator in Ubud, even Fabulous Ubud couldn't help. Bali Jungle Trekking were very responsive to our Whats App message to start the booking process, emails did the rest and the information was clear and accurate so happy with this.

Hi! Is it only possible to start the tour at 7 o'clock, or could the pick-up be at a later time? Also, have long does the tour last? Thank you in advance for your answer!

Hello, my sister and I are interested in this trip but I notice it says select areas only. Is the Kuta area included?
