          Elephants/Buggies/Rafting - fabulous
We did a full day trip with a large group of 23 including Elephant bathing, swimming, feeding and riding, jungle buggies and white water rafting. Our tour included breakfast and lunch which were both outstanding. Pick up and drop off were punctual, clean and comfortable. Guides were polite and informative. When storms hit with lightening strikes our rafting was postponed for 2 days without and additional costs for transport. All amenities clean and comfortable and excellent value for money for the package. Highly recommend!

This is not a resque place for the elephants .
I had the elephant experience. I wouldn’t recommend this park to anyone who truly cares about wildlife . I visited this park hoping to see elephants in a safe and protected environment, but I was sorely disappointed. It was heartbreaking to see that the elephants here seem neglected and unprotected.they hit them with a snitch to train them and obey them .I saw them to be on the spine with the tourist and snitch them with this tool to obey for the photos .Moreover there were many chains on their leg that probably fasten them . It’s disheartening to think that a place promoting itself as a sanctuary offers such little respect and care to its animals. it felt like a tourist trap that prioritizes profit over the welfare of the elephants. This is not a resque place for the animals . I hope the management will reconsider their practices and put more effort into caring for these animals. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this park to anyone who truly cares about wildlife .

          Elephant Experience
We did the Mason elephant experience. Would not recommend. Appeared to care more about reviews and Instagram posts than the elephants. They are trained and under constant supervision on a lead. At night time they are chained up by a short chain from one of their feet. These elephants aren’t protected here.

An awesome day white water rafting on the river!
After reading the reviews we went white water rafting with Mason Adventures and despite having a couple of nervous young daughters at the start they loved every minute of it. The were fighting to take turns sitting at the front of the boat and even wanted to go again. Mason's team are awesome and made the experience so much fun. From their starting point they also have the longest trip down the river. Just be prepared for the many steps down to the river and then back again but the leg burn is well worth it!

          Mason Adventure - awesome
Visited Mason Adventure in June with family and relatives. A group of 9 of us in total for 2 days 1 night. 1. Awesome resort stay with elephant bathing activities, feeding elephants, safari ride on the elephants. Best experience was the elephant pick up to the restaurant. Clean rooms, awesome stay. Decent breakfast. Service by staff was very good. 2. The Ayung river rafting was also a wonderful and awesome experience. The rafting guides really took care of us and gave good instructions to go through the ride. It was a total of 2 hours trip. Clean changing rooms after the rafting activities. Only shortfall is you need to go down 600 steps and 400 steps back up. So be prepared for that. Overall great experience.

mason adventures is well worth it
Our travel agent booked us this experience with Mason Adventures and it was amazing. The guide was good and funny. We went 10 kilometers on the river. There were constant manageable rapids that kept you going to the next one.

          Elephants wash and ride
We did the elephant wash and bareback water riding them. We communicated trhough whats app and when we brought the tickets from the website. We forgot to put name of hotel for pick up and they ringed the hotel to confirm pick up. Car was clean and driver was good and nice. It’s was very awesome to see the elephants and wash them. It’s expensive but giving there is roughly only 30k -50k left in all Asia, it’s well worth it. Look they have skin like leather and one I rode did play up a bit. They do carry and metal blunt hammer thing for when they play games or mid behavior. Some people see issues I don’t, these are wild animals and they barely used them on all the people who went on a ride. None used them but my elephant. They have breed a few and have baby elephants and it’s good considering there’s only 1000 left. So hopefully with more tourists and income they can expand and they have built a lot, tree top bars and walks. All in all well worth it, they supplied showers after and food to fed the baby ones. There’s tortoises in the park too. You sign a lot of weavers to prevent legal action against them. These are animals, they don’t seem miss treated. Simply they are better in this park and used for entertainment and hopefully numbers grow then poached for their tusks in the wild. They probs have 100 which is 10% of the asian elephants in the park in all of Indonesia which is a sad. So go see them, cause they might not be around in a few years time.

The most MAGICAL and BEST day ever!
My partner and I booked onto the bathe and breakfast tour, in Taro, with the elephants- one of my favourite animals! I did lots of research on the company before and the staff were very helpful through WhatsApp, answering any questions I had! We were picked up early in the morning in a private minivan and our driver was lovely and funny. When we arrived at the park, we were greeted with smiles and taken to breakfast. There was lots of variety. After this, we rode the elephants. The staff were very friendly and informative, giving us lots of information and facts about the elephants. The elephants were SO HAPPY! They loved the water and the interaction with the people. They were flapping their ears and physically smiling the whole time. They were very cheeky when we rode them in the water, they tried dunking us and had us nearly falling off multiple times! Lots of fun! We then went to wash the elephants which was a special activity. Throughout all of the elephant interactions, the staff took our phones to take lots of pictures- and they were all gorgeous! Shower facilities and a gift shop was available to us afterward too. I would absolutely love to come back here again in the future! It was such a special and magical day! Thank you Mason Adventures! It is amazing and beautiful what you have created and thank you for rescuing and caring for these beautiful animals.

The best rafting company in Bali
We were staying in Ubud and decided to try a bit of rafting while we were here. Our hotel organised it and Masons were the company delivering the experience. We were picked up in good time and as soon as we arrived we were looked after really well. The experience was phenomenal, really worth the money (4 of us around £160), as you see such an amazing river, whilst having a good adrenaline rush. I’d recommend these over the other companies as they start further up the river, and therefore you get to go for longer. You also get lunch and transport. Our guide, Jabrik, was a top guy and great rafter. He got us down the river, giving us a few adrenaline rushes along the way! You’ll see loads of other rafting companies along the river, but they look cramped!

          Fantastic experience
This was one of my favourite activities during my one month stay in Bali. The trip to the start point from Kuta took around 2 hours but was definitely worth it. Great English speaking guide provided our group of 6 with excellent information. The route isn’t challenging as most is downhill however the route through the rice fields needed care as the path is very narrow and uneven with many drainage chambers in the path. All of us navigated this without incident. A superb as much as you can eat buffet lunch was provided at the end of the ride which was almost worth the cost of the trip itself. A fantastic value for money day out which will remain in my memory for ever. I highly recommend this trip.

          Elephant safari and jumbo wash
Amazing experience today, the elephants are really well looked after, they each have there own keeper and they make sure they are ok, Our safari guide knew everything about the elephants and the sanctuary and happily answered any questions we had. Our jumbo wash experience was amazing, we were not rushed through and the keeper took lots of photos and videos and let us make our mind up when we were done. The buffet lunch was good with everything from soups to desserts. The only downside was the travel for us because we were 2 hours away it was a long trip in traffic. All up it was worth the money and the fact that the money goes back into the sanctuary makes it even better. Well worth a visit
