Such an amazing experience, Wayan our guide was so friendly and so funny as well made us feel very much at home and welcome. She was also very knowledgeable and explained lots of customs and methods of cooking the food. Her home setting was also very beautiful with her own rice field and it was lovely to make some flower offerings and eat some breakfast we had brought from the market with some drinks they had prepared before starting to cook lunch . The actual food was so delicious and anmazing intro to Ubud cooking and they were accomodating of my friend with a peanut allergy too!

Wonderful experience, from visiting the market, to cooking a delicious meal, to being given the recipe booklet to bring home. Wayan was amazing and I enjoyed every minute! I can’t believe how many dishes we made and how delicious they all were!

I booked a last-minute private tour during a public holiday in Bali, and despite a few unexpected challenges, it was a great experience. Our guide skillfully navigated roadblocks caused by ceremonies and even had an umbrella ready when it rained at one of the temples. My only suggestion is to communicate potential disruptions, like road closures or temple access issues, beforehand—this would help travelers manage expectations. For instance, after visiting the rice fields, we had to change our schedule and missed one temple, but ended up at two unique spots, one less touristy and the other quite popular. Overall, I’d recommend them for their flexibility and local knowledge. Just be sure to check for any holiday-related disruptions in advance!

From the hotel pick up to end, this was a tour well worth doing. The class was both informative and fun. We were placed opposite our partners and took turns being instructed by our great chef. All our food was placed on the large table and we feasted on our efforts. I thoroughly recommend this trip to Ubud. Thanks, Bev and Ann

Our guide Ngurah Awan was very knowledgeable and patient. He waited with us 1.5 h to take photos at Handara. He took us to a wonderful waterfall and the Twin Lakes. We have seen very interesting places and learned history from our guide. It was a wonderful trip!

Our guide Kadek was fantastic! We spent the entire day with him exploring Kintamani, Tirta Empul, and Penglipuran Village in Bali. Everything was wonderful, and he was incredibly kind, explaining everything to us clearly. His English was excellent. Thank you, Kadek, for an unforgettable day!

Absolutely amazing experience - couldn't fault a single thing!! Pick up was really simple, with great contact beforehand. I have a peanut allergy and so was a bit nervous, but I had no need, the team were really careful and explained everything. And the food we cooked!!! My god, it was PERFECTION!! I'm an awful cook and I somehow managed to make several delicious Balinese dishes with their great instruction. You also get a recipe book at the end, with the team providing substitute ingredients that you can find back home.

Loved this. Going to the local markets and then back to prepare and cook nine dishes was a fantastic experience. I was very lucky that two groups cancelled so I had the whole cooking class experience to myself - and Wayan made me feel like a VIP Masterchef! She is very knowledgeable and patient. I was just in awe of how simple ingredients became this feast for one. Definitely would do this again and with Wayan. The highlight for me was the sacred/secret sauce and satay sauce that I now know how to make and have the recipes for. Highly recommend.

We did the Ubud tour, with Awan as our guide and had an amazing day. All the stops were great, Awan was a fantastic guide and took really good care of us. Given the amount of stuff we covered and how much fun we had, it's great value for money too.

My family and I went on a day tour from Kuta to Ubud. Our driver was Kadek who was great. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. It was a very special day and we will remember it for a long time.

Dewa came to take me to my hotel. He was super caring and it was a fun day. He knows the place really well and I learn so much stuff today about the east of Bali. The places were amazing and because of the closure of Lempuyang temple he took me to Lahangan sweet wich was breathtaking. Just a magical journey. I recommend it and a special mention to Dewa who was super friendly.

I really enjoyed this class as a solo female traveller - the staff were engaging and friendly, the recipes were tasty, and through the sharing of activities all the guests got to know each other. They even sang happy birthday and gave me a cake on the day which was very kind and unexpected! Would recommend :)

Had such a wonderful time with our amazing and very knowledgeable guide Kadek he made the trip so memorable with how kind he is and how he knows all the good spots. I recommend everyone to book and specifically ask for Kadek to be your guide.

I had the most amazing experiece with Kadek and Dewa as my drivers in four different tours around Bali. They made It possible for me to see Bali through their eyes, the richness of their culture, their traditions, their religion. They made me forget I was just a tourist taking lovely photos, they showed me the soul of Bali and the Balinese people. And for that I will be grateful all my life.
