Dayat is an excellent driver, steady and gentle on winding roads for my son’s motion sickness. He provides reliable service and I will highly recommend him to anyone travelling within East Java. He advises routes that are most efficient so be sure to plan your itinerary with him before booking accommodation. For ourselves, he picked us from Baobab Safari and was with us for the Bromo trip, and lastly dropped us off at Plataran Bromo. My only gripe (if i can say gripe), is that a deposit is required and I needed to find a friend who had an Indonesian bank account to do it most efficiently), though one could possibly do it him/herself.

Our guide, Dayat, and our driver were very attentive to our needs, very flexible for our large family, and even included a great food recommendation and helped us with lodging reservations. Our family had a lot of fun at Tumpak Sewu and at Mt. Bromo, and we got lucky with some great weather and friendly locals.

It was an amazing trip with Dayat. He is friendly and enthusiastic. Besides the main attraction points (Bromo, Tumpaksewu & Ijen), Dayat brought us to visit local durian farm and kopi luwak. This is my first time trying Indonesia durian and the famous kopi luwak. Dayat also good in time management, he brought us to each spot earlier, so that we can take many nice pictures without the crowds. Overall was a very good experience in Indon East Java with Dayat as our tour guide. 😊

I had the most amazing time with Dayat from Zaini transport discovering the gems of East Java. I was traveling solo and had my fair share of hesitations before the trip but after meeting Dayat, all my worries vanished and I was glad I chose this service. He is incredibly kind, cosniderate and flexible. I customized my trip and he was willing to help with all my requests. I did 2 days with Dayat and then did a shared tour for Bromo and Ijen. Dayat picked me up from Surabaya and we covered Jodipan, Kapas Biru, Coban Sriti, Semuru village, Tumpak Sewu in 2 days. The next two were Bromo and Ijen as part of a shared tour which he organized with his friend's transport service. I would highly recommend Zaini transport for anyone wanting to travel in East Java.

Excellent trip planned by Mr Zaini! Managed to climb and get the amazing views from both peaks at just the right times because he ensured that we started early in the morning to beat the crowds! Could not be happier with our experiences!

I was extremely satisfied with Zaini transport for the following reasons: - the price seemed very competitive for the area - I picked a few places that I wanted to go to and the driver handled all the work of setting up the logistics and out tour guides (Tumpak Sewu, Bromo, Ijen, and ferry to Bali). I basically didn't have to worry about a single thing beyond booking the driver. - the driver was very flexible with changing plans - the driver's English was amazing and it really helped me to feel comfortable in a country I have never been to before - the driver had great local recommendations for food and other places to see. I would have missed some amazing views if I just planned everything myself. - the driver was super friendly and had great local context to provide on many areas we drove through. If I come back to Indonesia I hope I can book the same driver because he was an awesome person.

Kotak sounds like he does good trips, but I would make sure you actually get him. We booked a 3 day trip with him, including sending documentation through of our flights and hotels. A couple of days before we were due to go, we whatsapped him and got the reply 'No deposit, no booking'. None of our other drivers had not required a deposit, and at no point in the email chain did a deposit get mentioned, and the whole thing sounded like a confirmed booking. I was then further disappointed that he made no attempt to help with alternative arrangements, and having emailed him since getting back, no response. So he might be great once you have him, but do make sure he isn't doesn't let you down.

I start my Java tour from Surabaya . Dayat picked me up in the morning until he dropped me off for the last time it truly was a memorable 8 day experience. He know all the nice places and you stay always in good company. I can recommend too his food selection . If someone is planning an individual tour in java, i can recommend Dayat. I went on the Java tour from Malam with my family. Dayat was always there to help us. From when he picked us up in the morning until he dropped us off for the last time it truly was a memorable experience. My mother had tears in her eyes when we left. Dayat knew about the best areas to be at certain times and had extensive knowledge of hotels and restaurants all over Java. It was like having a new knowledgeable, friendly addition to the family for 5 days. We felt very safe with him and Dayat even stopped (several times in the same car trip) to let my little brother go to the toilet). Truely a wonderful experience, I’m sure my whole family (especially my mother) will treasure it for the rest of our lives. 11/10 would book again.
