Hmmmm, what to say?? Let's start with the positives. A very clean wildlife park with staff who obviously care for their particular animals. I really enjoyed our interaction with the pygmy hippos and washing the elephant. It's nice that the birds appear free to roam to a certain extent. The negatives? Extremely sad living conditions for the elephants and the orangutans!! Bare concrete for the elephants with absolutely NO stimulation and little to stimulate the orangutans as well. In talking to staff it would appear that the owners love their animals but perhaps education as to their needs is the issue here?? I would love to see one of the wildlife education groups take an interest in this place for the sake of the larger animals PLEASE!!! It would have also been nice to be able to wander around at our leisure without the guide and just spend as much time as we wanted to watching the animals.

I went there begining of Jan 2020. Overall it was a nice experience but with some serious flaws.
I have paid extra to pat the elephants and to hold a baby orangutan which was amazing.
The Zoo seemed to be overall quite new or renivated and reasonably well maintained however I couldn't help but feel sorry for some animals that were stuffed in very small cages and spaces.
When I saw the older elephants there - they were held in a very big concrete square with just bare earth at the botton, not a single tree or a green bush and they had only metal chain to play with, no other toys.
I have asked staff if they let them out for walk and they told me yes but I couldn't even see the gate through which they would get them out. Anyway, I'm sorry to say that both elephants seemed distressed and not happy.
Part of my package was also bathing elephants and unfortunately water was extremely filthy.
In fact some of the tourists refused to go in.

And the last thing that did upset me a lot was a poor civet cat (picture attached) that was wide awake (during the day when they normally sleep which I think was a sign of distress) that was trying to bite through its cage. I have to say that the cage was really old and dirty.
It's like the animal just has been left there and no one is paying any attention.
Staff was very polite and helpful, food included in the lunch offer was nice and I liked that so many birds could just fly roam around the park free but I believe that animal confined spaces must be enlarged to give them more freedom to move around. I had mixed feelings after visiting the park therefore I will rate it with 3 stars.

The staff is very friendly and helpful , all the animals seemed well fed and well taken care of. The only thing that bothered me was that the crocodiles had a very little area to move around in, same with the elephants. Otherwise it was good!

The park is clean and well maintained with a good variety of animals and was very quiet during our visit so we were not rushed. We loved feeding all the animals with the fruit basket and having our photo taken with tropical birds, lizards, snakes, even a bear cat and especially with the baby orangutan which was a highlight of our day. The best part of the visit was bathing with elephants and scrubbing them and interacting with them. Lunch was good as there was a choice for each course. Our only concerns were that the crocodile was in a very tiny enclosure and it was not happy and seemed angry, and the bear cat was in a very small cage too so hopefully they will be moved somewhere bigger. Overall an amazing visit. Expect to spend around 3 to 3 and a half hours for the experience with lunch.

Had a few hours at the park. The bond between animal and the careers was obvious. There was genuine love . The surroundings are a work in progress and some of the cages needed work. It is definitely worth a visit as the money is going towards the up keep.

We visited the park during a cruise stop over in Lombok. We arranged our own taxi ride from the shipping port to take us there and back. It was approx 90 minute drive to get there. Recommend getting an English speaking taxi driver, agree on price for the day first and then pay on your return.
The park was beautiful and amazing and Im so glad we made the effort to get there. There are different options for entry to the park, starting at around AU$25. We spend a little bit more as we wanted to hold the baby Orangutans, and this option also included a guided tour (which was well worth it) and a delicious high tea afterwards. Highly recommend it for all ages.

Two adults and two children (aged 11 and 9) had a lovely day here in what was a highly memorable and enjoyable experience. Being able to get up close to the animals was a real treat (we got to cuddle an orang-utan baby, hold snakes, lizards and tropical birds, feed pygmy hippos and bathe with elephants) and our guide and all the keepers we met were very friendly and clearly adored the animals.

Some might think the price tag for the intimate experience is a little on the high side, but comparing it to the cost of going to, say, Taronga Zoo and walking round at a microscopic rate behind an ocean of prams and wailing babies, and it's a small price to pay to be able to get so close to the animals at an unhurried pace.

It's not a huge park, but is easy to navigate and pleasingly shady with a good lunch included in the price. We highly recommend - not least for the sight of our ever-arguing children happily being photographed together with the cute animals.

We visited the park yesterday and were presently surprised to see the beautiful open surroundings, large enclosures (except for the crocodiles which they are working on improving), the fact that many birds were free to come and go as they please, and the genuine concerns and love from the staff for the animals they care for. We understand that most of the animals there were rescued from cruel conditions and are now happy there. Would highly recommend this wildlife park to all
