Ryan is fantastic! He helped us narrow down places to go based on where we have been in Seychelles. Ryan is super flexible, knowledgeable and helpful, he even helped us get an amazing local take away for lunch! Highly recommend!

Not enough stars. Ryan is a very well-informed guide and was able to field ALL my questions regarding national history, current governance, the social safety net, flora & fauna and so much more. A very pleasant young man who made the day quite enjoyable!

This hike was the perfect start to my Seychelles vacation! My local guide, Ryan, was amazing. He has vast knowledge not only about the flora and fauna of the country but he also shared information about the history and culture. The walk had ups, downs and flats - views down to the ocean and lots of beautiful trees, plants and animals.

Absolutely recommended! Ryan is a great guide! He speaks perfect English, is funny and was completely flexible to all our needs and wishes for the tour. My husband and I had a great time in Mahé and tanks to him we learned many aspects of the life there that otherwise we would not have discovered. We would repeat a tour with Ryan without a doubt!

Staying in Mahe in the resort does not count as if you visited Mahe, you know that. So considering this we decided to look for a tour or to rent a car to see around. But renting a car is definitely an option if you have a good knowledge already about history and culture of Seychelles, if it’s not your first time and you want to go to specific locations. But if you are new to this beautiful island, private tour is the must! To say that we were satisfy with our choice is to say nothing. It was indeed a perfect day, customised in accordance with our preferences, comfortable and adventurous. Firstly, Mahe has lots of hidden gems that worth to add to your memories about Seychelles, secondly, Ryan, is an excellent guide, intelligent and pleasant young gentleman, who has a lot to tell about Seychelles (not only Mahe) and show in Mahe. In addition, he will definitely find answers to all your questions. I will recommend this tour for everyone who is visiting Mahe as I did a very good research before, reviewing prices VS reviews. And the good thing we were not disappointed for a minute. Lastly, (if it matters for anyone) Ryan is good driver and has very comfortable car (with cold water 😊).

Ryan was great and very knowledgeable. He accommodated all my needs and I saw a lot in a short time. Unfortunately, the heat got to me and I started feeling unwell, so we had to cut the tour short. Still good, though!

Ryan, the owner of Island Exploration Seychelles, is a really good guide to do a hike. What I liked most about him was that he gave me a lot of information about the nature and the land and on the other hand let me enjoy the peace of nature. His guidance on the trail and his driving are very safe. I really appreciated that he offered to cancel my tour - as it was raining for two days - and mentioned that the view would not be as good as usual, but still did the hike with me on my request.
