          A special safari tour
We did a 4 day Serengeti from the air tour with Safari Soles. We had the 4x4 to ourselves. We were well looked after by our guide and driver Raymond. He was knowledgeable, drove well, spoke well and had a good sense of humour. The 4x4 was clean and comfortable. Important when you are spending 4 days in it. All the logistics, flights, transfers and accommodation worked seamlessly. All the accommodation was clean and well looked after. It's important to note that in Serengeti you shouldn't luxury westernised hotels. Lodges and camps are exactly that. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. The food is freshly prepared but simple. Don't expect loads of options. We stayed at Serengeti Lodge, Sero tented camp and Rhino Lodge. Great and different experiences. We were lucky to see the big 5. You need luck but it helps if your guide is knowledgeable as ours was. The serengeti is vast, the ngonrongoro crater is amazing. We had a great time.

Safari trip to the Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti
We have just returned from an amazing trip with Safari Soles, visiting the Ngorongoro crater and the Serengeti across 3 nights. Our guide, Oscar, was extremely knowledgeable and we were astounded by the amount of wildlife we saw. Despite having a shortened safari experience due to flight changes and other issues, Oscar made sure that we did not miss out on anything and got us safely there and back without any problems. From start to finish, the entire booking process with Safari Soles was very smooth and any questions were promptly answered. We would highly recommend Safari Soles to others.

Amazing experience with Safari Soles for the migration!
We arranged a 6d5n private safari to Tarangire, Serengeti (with the migration in Southern Serengeti) and Ngorongoro with Safari Soles tours, and our experience with them was great, from the planning stage to the end of the safari. Renatus at the office was super helpful when planning our trip! He always answered all of my questions regarding the tour very quickly and informatively. My flight to Arusha was delayed, but my travel companion arrived on time. We had an airport pick -up included, and they arranged for both of us to be picked up for no extra charge, even though I arrived very late in the evening. The safari itself was amazing. We were so happy that we got Simon "The safarimonster" as our guide. He had great knowledge about the wildlife and the area, and was also just very comfortable to be around. It was very clear that it was a great advantage to have a guide who knew the area well, as we experienced a lot of guides asking him for information about where they could see different animals etc. And we were able to see so many different animals as well! All the big 5, many big cats (we even saw a serval in the middle of the day). And the lodges we stayed at couldn't have been better! Would highly recommend booking a tour with Safari Soles!

We got an unforgettable experience with Safari Soles! 100% recommend!
This was an amazing and once in a life time experience for us with Safari Tours, more than what we have imagined and expected. We enjoyed very much the tour, the accommodation and even the food! Innocent is definitely the best guide, considerate, patient and knowledgeable! We’re impressed by what he showed us, taught us about the nature, the wildlife and the culture. He can always spot far away animals and his good driving made our trip smooth and unforgettable. Boniface who helped us arrange this 5-day Safari always put our satisfaction as priority. This trip was fully customized and everything exceeded our expectations. The transition drivers are all very friendly and considerate, always flexible to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed Moshi town and the hot springs as well 😄 We would never forget the safari experience with Safari Soles. 100% recommend!

          Unforgettable safari experience
What an amazing experience thanks to Safari Soles! Everything started with a perfect organization thanks to Magreth. Quick and detailed answers to all our questions upfront with all we needed to know for our first trip to Tanzania! And above all, special thanks to our awesome safari guide, Simon, the 'Safari Monster'!!! He has a great knowledge of the animals and their behavior and more importantly, knows how and where to find them all ;) Not only that, we really appreciated his explanations about Tanzanian culture, his great company and funny jokes during the whole safari trip!

Amazing experience with best driver and guide Innocent!
We booked a seven days safari and a total of 9 days with Safari Soles. The contact with Happiness, who put our trip together, was very professional. When we arrived in Arusha, we were picked up and taken to our first accommodation, where we had time to relax before the safari started. The next morning our guide and driver Innocent came to pick us up. We had seven wonderful days where we saw all the animals we wanted to see, thanks to the experience and motivation that Innocent had. All in all, we can recommend everyone to book Safari Soles. They did a very good job from start to finish. Thank you Happiness and Innocent.

          Amazing experience! Wonderful Guide!
There are truly not enough wonderful things we could say about this company and our wonderful guide ‘Innocent’, to properly convey how great they have been. Safari Soles went above and beyond to make our honeymoon and trip a memorable one, they were professional, kind and extremely generous with their time and resources (going as far as upgrading our final accommodation free of charge because the hotel we had picked had gotten some poor feedback lately). If you do end up going with Safari Soles then I encourage you to ask for Innocent as your guide. Innocent was with us for 5 days and was beyond attentive, knowledgeable, professional and caring towards us. Innocent made sure we saw all our favourite animals and even got us to see all 5 of the big five! His attention to detail & our surroundings was unmatched and led to us feeling extra safe for the duration of our Safari, we can not thank him enough for the opportunities he provided us with. Our transfer driver from the airport to the hotel, Chief was also amazing. He was friendly & knowledgeable- he made our introduction to Tanzania a beautiful one! A big Thank you to Innocent, Chief & the whole Safari Soles team- you should be very proud of the service you provide your clients with!

          Our Unforgettable Safari Adventure
Our safari in Tanzania was absolutely unforgettable, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Estomih. He made our 5-day adventure not just a trip but a real journey into the heart of the wild. The safari itself was a dream come true. We got to see the Big 5 on our very first day! The landscapes were breathtaking. We saw from the dramatic wildebeest river crossing to quiet moments watching zebras and learning how they smartly let wildebeests take the lead to avoid predators. During the safari, we’re able to find different spots for photos and our guide shared fun facts that made every animal encounter special. He was super friendly and funny, making every moment enjoyable. Even when we ran into a small tire issue, Estomih handled it like a pro, and we were back on our adventure in no time. For us, the safari was not only an adventure of seeing animals but also about connecting with the land and its stories. We are also able to know the local culture too, making our trip not just a safari but a deep dive into Tanzania’s heart. We couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!

Great safari experience with very precessional and experienced guide — Estomi
We had a 5-day safari tour, and it exceeded all my expectations. We visited Ngorogoro, Ndutu and central Serengeti. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible. Our guide, Estomi, was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife, making every moment of the journey unforgettable. He told us a lot of interesting stories about animals: the love story of dikdik, the smart zebras when crossing Mara river, and many more. We were fortunate enough to witness the big five, ugly five, and a lot other animals: giraffes, hippos, cheetahs and do many different antelopes. Each day brought new adventures and breathtaking sights. We also see the great migration of wildebeest at Ndutu, southern part of Serengeti. It’s the most breathtaking scene I have ever seen. I really recommend this safari tour for those who are seeking an immersive and unforgettable wildlife experience.

Safari Soles Tours Provides Trip of a Lifetime
I highly recommend using Safari Soles as your Tanzanian safari tour operator. With so many local operators to choose from, we were hesitant on which one to pick. Happiness George put all our worries to rest. After making contact she was able to provide an itinerary that met all our wishes from diverse lodging to any food requirement to selection of our guide and driver. All airport transfers went seamlessly. Communication with her and others of the team at Safari Soles was consistent, timely and informative. Our check baggage did not make the flight to Kilimanjaro with us. The Safari Soles team made sure that when it arrived in Kilimanjaro airport the following night that it was driven over two hours to our location the following morning to meet us at our lodge before our scheduled departure time. What a life saver. I would like to give a big thank you to Innocent our guide and driver. Without him, our experience would not have been as extraordinary as it turned out to be. He was able to locate and anticipate all the animal movements to position us in a way as to get close with the best angles for viewing and pictures. He worked tirelessly making sure we got everything we wanted out of every day’s safari drives and reviewed our next day’s itinerary with us the night before so we knew what to expect and make adjustments to our itinerary to view as much wildlife as possible. I cannot say enough good things about him. He always had our best interests at heart and was very informative in a wide range of topics related to Tanzania and its animals, culture and people. The Safari Soles team took our family trip from just a one to remember to a trip of a lifetime. Priceless!

Trip of a lifetime with Safari Soles!
I highly recommend Safari Soles for the best Tanzanian Safari Tour Operator experience. The entire staff worked diligently to meet all our expectations from Happiness George that organized our trip including booking wonderful lodges and luxury tent accommodations to Chief, who picked us up at Kilimanjaro airport and kept us entertained for the entire 90 minute ride to Innocent, our Safari Guide that drove long hours every day thru Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater to make sure we saw every animal on our bucket list and more, to Baltazar that drove us to the Kilimanjaro foothills and patiently accompanied us on our hike to the Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee tour, on to the Mineral Springs and back to Kilimanjaro airport keeping us on a tight schedule. It was a trip we will never forget. I’d like to express additional praise for Innocent whose positive attitude and patience never faltered and always checked to make sure we were “all good”, our new favorite phrase. It is obvious that he is well liked within the community, keeping connected to find the best siting and even stopping to help a stranded driver or two. He was instrumental in making this a trip of a lifetime for which we will be forever grateful. Thank you, Innocent!

If you are hoping to have the best safari experience and not worry about anything else, this company is the one you are looking for! both happiness and rahim were fantastic and offered us the best experience we could ever have. the hotels were also extremely good, and happiness did everything she could to answer all of our questions. Rahim, the driver was very kind and we had a lot of fun with him. we were supposed to end our trip in moshi, but my husband was sick and the company allowed us to pospone the trip for some days and later on Chief, another very kind driver, took us from arusha to moshi. If you are thinking about a reliable company in Tanzania... this is the one! we will gladly repeat in the future with you guys! thanks a lot for everything

We were picked up on time in a very clean and good car. The driver was also our guide (Jackson) and he went above and beyond our expectations. He was very knowledgable and patient with us. It was only myself and my husband and boy this was the best christmas gift i could have given him, he loved it all, which double made my day.
The waterfalls were breath taking, the coffee hosts had me dancing with joy watching them sing as they did their thing, the springs was fun (i only was it was hotter). Jackson did not rush us, he left us to explore within our time and fully experience everything. His english was perfect. He bought us passion fruit along the way..how sweet of him! If i could give it more stars than 5 i would. The above and beyond did include a surprise of a great red wine and a local fav beer for my hubby! I cannot say enough about this awesome company. Ps: Even the owner of the company was awesome, polite and helpful. We have done many safaris and experiences but i can honestly say this is one of my tops for the experience and the guiding company!! I FULLY RECOMMEND!! For sure i will be looking for more things they offer when i go back!

Had an amazing day yesterday. Big shoutout to guides Daniel and Justin who were very friendly and had a great sense of humour. Make sure to wear decent shoes because the hike to the waterfall is around 40 mins. They were very accommodating with pickup and I would recommend this for families, couples or solo travelers.

        Thank you!

This was an OUTSTANDING experience and is excellent value for the cost. The company is extremely organized, confirmed when they would be picking us up days in advance, and called our AirBnB host to make sure they knew how to find us ahead of time. Our guide, Joel, was the kindest and most helpful person we’ve met on our trip. He started by giving us an orientation of what the day would be like, and then gave us lots of interesting information throughout the day. He also does lots of things to make sure you’re having a great experience like stopping to point out animals, getting a chameleon for you to hold, etc. We had lost our baggage when we flew to Tanzania, and he even helped us find some basics that we needed for the rest of our trip. He went over and above to make sure we had a great time and was also just a genuinely kind person.
The experience itself is also a great, action packed day. The hike to the waterfall is active but not too strenuous, and the waterfall is beautiful. The coffee experience and lunch in the village are really special and extremely fun. You should book this!

We had an excellent time with an amazing guide, Andrew, because he was super friendly, informative about the culture plus environment and accommodating to all our needs; even going above and beyond taking care of our muddy shoes without us knowing, plus drinks upon picking us up and more. Now I say, don’t expect this level of accommodations because we didn’t and it just so happen we were blessed with exceeding expectations!

While navigating us through the hiking route, we learned about the many different plants and he took several photos plus videos without us even prompting a request. The coffee tour presented by Andrew and hosted by Justin was my first coffee tour experience because I don’t actually drink coffee, but it was so well curated from the songs they sang to us and engaging for us to prepare the coffee beans!

Great time at the hot springs…and I’ll save the rest for you to discover! Definitely a 5 star experience!

Kikuletwa Hotsprings was true paradise on Earth, I would highly recommend a visit! We had a lovely day with our private driver Geoffrey who was very friendly and accommodating. He also provided a great sound track to our journey as well as a tasty lunch! The hot springs were serene and not at all overcrowded - we could have stayed there all day! Bryson was great for organising the trip through and was very quick at replying to messages. Thank you for a great trip Safari Soles tours!

This tour is perfect for those who hike Kilimanjaro and want to explore Moshi. The guide is knowledgeable and has a great driving skill, especially in muddy road on the way to Materuni. Definitely recommend the tour.

The trip was amazing. Our guide Baltazary(papali) was great. He was very informative helpful and friendly, made our trip very enjoyable. He even managed to find out information about the train from arusha to Dar a Salam which was a mystery for us until then. This shows he was not just limited to the trip itinerary. Because Of us being with this tour operator (being guided by Papali) we got to know more about the Tanzanian history, about flag colors , about the culture ,flora and fauna around the place. The coffee tour was amazing, the spring was a bit crowded but we were told this was due to being weekend a lot of locals go there as well. So if you want a bit quieter, maybe avoid weekends.

Five starts for the guide and the service altogether. Highly recommend to use this tour operator who wants to do this trip.

A 35 min walk to the astonishing waterfall and Andrew the guide became master of photography. He was animated, knowledgeable and friendly. On the return walk was the coffee experience: from bean to cup village style. One reviewer said this was touristy: I guess they may not do all the singing and dancing when they want a coffee but, as a tourist visiting for an hour, I enjoyed the experience and the coffee. As this was a Sunday morning many of the village were at church so we drove to the hot springs for a simple lunch. Amazing to swim in the warm clear water surrounded by lush vegetation. Stayed as long as I wanted them returned to the hotel.
These three experience in one day made an excellent activity. Would certainly recommend.

Great experience! Pick up and drop off we’re seamless, driver Abouh was funny and very informational. He was very accommodating for my needs and helpful when I was struggling during the hike. The waterfall was beautiful, the hot springs were warm and fun. Would highly recommend!

Baltazary is an exceptional guide and driver and may be the best I’ve ever had. He guided my friend and I through Materuni Village and set us up with the waterfall hike, delicious lunch (including a special herbal remedy he asked to be made for me to soothe my sore throat) and a coffee tour. He then drove us to the Chemka hot springs and generously offered to take many pictures of us doing the activities, watch our items while we swam and never made us feel rushed. Above all, Baltazary really shined with his expert driving. He not only safely navigated us through the usual rough terrain of getting to Materuni Village and Chemka, but he also safely drove us during a heavy rain storm as we were heading back from Chemka. During the rain storm, a fallen tree had blocked the main path back home for us and many cars behind us. Baltazary was the only driver around who knew the alternative, albeit more rough, route. He kindly drove up to every car to let them know to follow us to the alternative route. There was even an especially deep pool of water from the rain on the alternative route which he safely navigated us through, even while other drivers did not feel confident enough to cross. Even then, he got out to assist other drivers the best he could. I am glad we trusted Baltazary because he went above and beyond to get us through a potentially disastrous situation, all while remaining calm and thinking of others. Highly recommend Baltazary for your guide and driving needs around Tanzania :) Asante sana Baltazary!
