All of the other 1 star reviews are accurate. Seca was initially very helpful and responsive to my emails. I had to move my trip a few times due to covid, but now am finally going. I've sent 8 emails over the last 2 months trying to confirm my safari dates that I have already paid ~$1000 for and can not get an answer from Seca. I called the listed phone number and the generic recording said it was not reachable. I already have the time booked in Tanzania for this safari and now it seems I am out of luck and out of $1000.

Worst company ever ! They stole our money pretenting they had issue due to covid. First they asked for money and then they cancel the trip and never give back the money. Be very careful.

I used to think that safari is only for the foreigners but with my fellow Students from Mbeya University of Science and Technology we had really great trip in Kitulo National Park which was organized by Taste of Afrika Safaris. Safari vehicles we had were comfortable with open roof, even our Accommodation we had were with clean and hot shower just as we booked. All our Guides were friendly, knowledgeable, good in spotting about animals and helpful during the whole tour. Our trip were really great. Thanks, Seka and the whole crew.

We just finished our 5 days safari yesterday with Taste of Afrika Safaris. We had really great safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti National Park. We did our safari in comfortable Safari Jeep with open roof, Accommodation booked by Company was clean and hot /cold shower, just as we wished. Our Guide Daniel were very friendly and informative about wilds during the whole of our safari. In short our safari was great. Our communication with the company was superb and did not experience any problem or delay during our tour. Thanks to Seka and Daniel. Hope to see again next year.

We did 13 days hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro Marangu Route & Lodge Safari with Taste of Afrika. The company provided all our wishes, answered all our questions before we started and managed to give us an unforgettable experience. Moses was our safari guide and we were very happy with him. He is from Arusha and gave us a lot of information about Tanzania, the Animals, the Tribes, Food and etc. The tour was very professionally,well organized and we felt very well looked after! Thank you very much Seka and the whole Team.

A great trip with amazing cultural tour and well-planned Maasai Village tour to give a really great experience with the tribes and people in Tanzania. We had great game drives which drove us close to view the beautiful nature and had great chance to see Big5 Tanzania animals. The safari in general was everything we could have hoped for and it will live long in our memory. We did all our communication with Seka and requested Moses to be our guide during our trip because we had good reputation from our German family friend who did the previous tour with taste of afrika. We had no doubts by booking with taste of afrika, it was really great and a pleasure to share our experience. We recommend this company.

Booked a day trip to Arusha NP with Seka from Taste of Africa. The guide was supposed to pick me up at 7.30, but at the agreed time there was no one to be seen. No one from the company was available until I got a call from Seka at 8:55 AM. He told me that there was a problem, but that it was solved and that he would come in half an hour. At 9:25 AM I was finally picked up by Seka and the guide, after which we still had to leave for Arusha NP. Seka left and I continued with the guide and we were only at the park well after 11 o'clock, where we then also had to wait at the entrance because the entrance fee had not yet been paid... We had a nice day and the guide did his best, but was not very experienced and often busy taking selfies. He didn't know the answer on many questions and didn't know the animals very well. He also said that unfortunately this was not the first time that Taste of Afrika was late, because the owner was a drunk and often overslept. We nearly ran out of time to see the entire park, but luckily we managed to do so in the end because the guide drove very fast. I didn't get a discount on this day trip, but could get a discount on another day trip. However, I got the same price as quote as I've had before, so Seka wanted to rip me off again. I would definitely not recommend Taste of Africa.

I had the most magical and fabulous multiple day adventure in Tarangire Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Park. Since the first email exchange with Taste of Afrika, Charles has been an attentive and involved trip planner. We became good friends during my trip and he also surprised me with a complimentary champagne for my birthday! The accommodations chosen were top-notch, with exception of Hotel Tulia in Arusha, where the bathroom in different rooms I stayed in had plumbing issues - but that is strictly the hotel's fault and I brought this to attention to Charles. My other accommodations chosen were Farms of Dream Lodge & Ngorongoro Safari Lodge which were both ELITE status and I cannot thank Charles enough for picking these - upon arrival to both of these lodges, I was in complete awe with the staff's amazing hospitality, room comfort and interior design! I also decided to splurge and had chosen Four Season Serengeti which is a dream come true in the heart of Serengeti. Also I have a lot of appreciation for my game drive guide Moses, who is very instinctive, in tuned with nature and has very keen eyes to locate all magnificent animals. On my last game drive in Serengeti, my only request to Moses was that I hope I get to see a leopard and cheetah and Moses made sure that I got to see these beautiful cats! I'd recommend Taste of Afrika tour operator to everyone who wants to experience the wilderness of Tanzania because I can assure you, this team will take care of you till the end. Great tour operator to do on safari with, Moses, our Guide was helpful and able to pick us up from the Airport and we started our tour direct from Airport. We had the best of Safari in Tanzania. Seka and Charles were very kind , patience when we started to communicate with them even during our Safari, very knowledgeable in places to go and they were able to organize everything in very short period of time. We will definitely will use Taste of Afrika service in future. Thank you Charles and your Team.

Complete nightmare. The company failed to properly book our reservations. Even after repeated calls the owner did not follow through on his promises. He failed to book us a covid test. We almost had to miss our flight into Kenya. We had to bribe a doctor to leave church so we could get one. The owner sent us with an uninsured guide. He also failed to pay the bill at many hotels. One hotel tried to keep us hostage. If you book with this company you risk being held to pay for the bad debts this company leaves all across Tanzania.

We had a great Climb with a really good mixed group of people 8people (ages ranged from 25 to 50). It was a quite a hard hike to reach on the rooftop Kili but with the help of our Guides and the crew we did it to summit. Hiking at altitude were very hard but the whole group made it to the Uhuru Peak by adopting a slowly (pole pole) but steady pace and we had sunrise and great visibility on the top Uhuru Peak. It took us 4 days to get up and 2 days to come down and I would recommend building up your muscles before the trip as it is quite strenuous. The campsite clean, good and the guides and porters did a great job. Small piece of advice to all hikers is to take some of clothing, layers, pants, socks and the best warm jackets you can afford (other climbing gear you can rent from the company). Overall, we had a great experience.

Overall, the trip experience was superb and the opportunity to see the Cheetah in Serengeti National Parks was incredible. The addition visit to Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, was a great stopover during our safari. The overall itinerary was well thought out, the accommodation and transport were good, all local staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient. Moses as a professional guide, he is knowledgeable with animals during the game drive, good manner and services were particularly outstanding

Our tour was absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend Taste of Afrika! We stayed at a great lodge in Karatu (Farm of Dreams) and if you want to do a short tour and see most of the best in Tanzania Big 4, I can recommend you 3 days lodge safari as the best tour to book!

Wonderful Four-Day Safari At the end of July 2021, we traveled from Arusha to the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. This was a perfect time to travel - the rain season had finished; the grass was still lush and there were wildflowers at the Crater. The weather was perfect and the animals were in abundance in all locations we visited. We were looked after very well by our guide Moses who was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, and who has a passion for Tanzanian wildlife. Our accommodation was excellent at all three locations and the meals were first class. This was our first safari and it surpassed our wildest dreams and expectations. Taste Of Afrika is a local tour and safari operator and we totally recommend them to anyone looking for a personal and professional safari experience.

We had a GREAT DAY-TRIP to Ngorongoro Crater, our Guide Francis were Friendly, informative and professional about wilds. We saw the Black-Rhinos and the swimming pool for Hippos. As some of our friends were vegetarian’s Francis did his best to make sure they had nice Vegetarian meals. Thanks for TASTE OF AFRIKA SAFARIS for such a great day. Miss Kyara
