The tour started out as a simple walk through Lucas's and Eric's home town and it ended as though I made new friends for life. They genuinely care about their community and their culture and want to do everything possible to make it better. They are building an amazing ecolodge which already has yoga, youth programs, tours, and of course, coffee (from planting, picking, roasting, and drinking)! I also recommend that you buy their coffee as it supports that community and those growers, versus buying in a store. You will learn so much from Eric and Lucas if you do this tour with them, not just about coffee, but about Moivaro and its people.

It was such an amaizing and wonderful experience that I could totally recommend it. They make you feel as at home from the very beginning. They would introduce you in their culture and village in the best possible way, that is: through a very professional coffee tour, living an authentic experience as a local (at least for the time you stay with them), visiting the main places in the village. They are doing a great and professional job. They are working hard to keep the coffee culture that their parents have instilled in them. They try to support their community through the wonderful jod they do. Make this tour with them is the guarantee that you are going to live a very authentic an touching experience, and that the money invest in the activity will go directly to local people. And, please, do yourself a favor: take with you their coffee. It's the most natural and delicious you will ever taste =)

This has been the most surprising authentic experience of our whole Tanzania trip. Lucas and Erick give you a personalal lovely tour explaining everything about local livelihoods, especially the agricultural practices. After this tour you will know much more about coffee, banana, sugar cane and many other tropical crop plants than you could ver imagine! And you see and taste it yourself with a perfect lunch and coffee production and tasting included. Absolutely lovely program. Cannot be recommmended high enough!! An absolute MUST when in Arusha. Thanks guys for an unforgettable day!

Oh, I think it was just the best day of my whole african trip! I was so upset I could't do it to Kili, so was looking for something not less interesting but more fitting into my budget. Choosing This Coffee tour was such a great decision! Guys showed me so many interesting things and answered all my stupid questions about life in Africa. I loved it so so much!! Definetely recommend to everyone who loves authentic experiences and wants to know about like in African village!
Love your team!

This trip is more than a coffee tour. You can see the life of a village and get a nice hospitality.

The tour guide show all steps of the coffee from the plantation to the tasting...

It was a great experience for the kids also. They saw the local kids life.

I went to coffee tour but got so much more! Lucas was an excellent guide. Show me coffee making from the scratch. Also he told me about banana farming, and showed me te Moivaro village. I get to taste sugarcane and bananabeer. Really interesting tour and much more than just coffee tour. Really recommend to everybody who is travelling to Arusha or area near Arusha.

I decided to make a Coffee tour with Moivaro cultural tourism and this was great experience for me. Erick and Lucas walked me around the coffee plantation and explained in detail the process from preparing the bean to be planted until the first cup of coffee.
For me this was amazing experience, I learned so much about the hard work and long process that sit behind just one sip of coffee that we take for granted in Europe. If you decide to make a coffee tour with Moivaro cultural tourism you will have the chance to prepare your own coffee and enjoyed it after while sitting in shadow under the banana trees. Also you can get a touch to people's lifestyle in the village, people with whom you will feel welcomed at home by their kindness and warm smiles.
I strongly recommend Moivaro cultural tourism.

We spent really good and nice time with my friends and Lucas, he is very professional and kind holster. We enjoyed much the speech about coffee processing since coffee is a seed, you plant, you can see the little trees growing up and grains in different colors, then make your own coffee and drink it telling and listening funny stories. It was a really great day, also with the companion of mama Lucas
