Day 1 (21-11-2018): CHIANG MAI

MEAL: -/-/D

Pick up you from Chiang Mai Airport, proceed to Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara.

One of Chiang Mai's most important temples is the Wat Chedi Luang located in the ancient walled part of the city. The Wat Chedi Luang, also known as the Jedi Luang and “The temple of the Great Stupa” initially consisted of two more temples named Wat Ho Tham and Wat Sukmin that were all merged into one.

Then we have “Khan Toke Dinner” at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center is based around the traditional Thai dinner and dancing show. For the Khantoke dinner guests sit on bamboo mats on the floor and are served a range of northern Thai food to share with the table. The food includes a rich chicken curry and a Burmese style pork.

Check Inn at Royal Guesthouse or Nimseeseng Hotel.

Day 2 (22-11-2018): CHIANG MAI

After your breakfast, proceed to Wat Phra Singh in Chiang Mai.

Arriving at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is the most important temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Built in the early 19th Buddhist century, the beauty of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is marked by seven-headed serpent statues that line the stairs to the temple where a Chiang Saen style golden pagoda and all its exquisite Lanna architecture is situated. The view of Chiang Mai from here is just phenomenal as well.

Then visit Wat Phra Singh, is perhaps the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai after Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. It houses three main structures, the main attraction being the elegantly decorated Lai Kam assembly hall and its restored murals depicting the lives of locals hundreds of years ago.

After exploring, we alight for lunch at Rabieng Na Maerim Restaurant or similar.

After lunch, let you relax at the hotel.

Then we go The Yi Peng festival. The event takes place at Lanna Dhutanka temple. The Yee Peng Festival (or Yi Peng) is celebrated on the full moon night of November, when locals go to temple to follow Buddhist traditions such as offering lanterns to the monks, listening to the monks pray, and meditating. But the most known practice is the launch of Khom Loy, or lanterns, into the night sky.

If not too tired, we will take you shopping at Night Bazaar for an hour before return to the hotel.
