Amazing experience- highly recommend! One of the best parts of our Thailand trip. Guided canoe ride into sea caves - absolutely stunning scenery, delicious food provided throughout the trip and friendly and helpful staff :)

The description of this trip does not do it justice. The whole day was fantastic from start to finish, it has been our favourite trip of our honeymoon. We managed to explore 2 caves (unfortunately we could not access the 3rd one as it was low tide), make our own Kratong with the help of our kayak guide, enjoy 3 separate meals which were all incredible, and then watch the sunset on the kayak at Hong island and float our Kratongs. Whilst all the staff were brilliant, Term, our kayak guide was simply amazing, going above and beyond for us at every stage of the tour. I strongly recommend requesting for him to be your guide when booking this experience.

An amazing day out. Although nervous about the canoe and caving experience, I absolutely loved it. I felt safe and secure with our experienced boat crew. The crew on board were very passionate about John Gray and spoke very highly about the owner which speaks volumes. The food was plentiful and delicious. Exceptional value for money and once in a lifetime opportunity to see the beautiful caves.

The skies were dark. Massive rain pouring from the clouds. Did not look good! Bus arrived at 12:05 for a 12:15 pick up. A 20 minute wet drive to the pier. 1230pm we arrived. People scheduled for 1pm latest arrival. Everyone bused in from Hotels to manage risk. Excellent check-in facility and briefing. some 100 pax running around. Well organised. Three boats went out. Each with 30 guests and 30+ crew. Heavy rain on way out. Overcast all day but the canoe rides were without rain! Excellent! We are well fed and watered. Excellent food cooked on board. Timings perfect between three canoe outings to caves, food, coffee/tea. Flower arrangements, R&R swimming and self rowing. Three languages (Mandarin, Thai, English) provided. One canoe guide for every 2 guests. Picture perfect. Super-exciting entry into caves. This is a MUST DO activity!

They have been amazing. We organised the following activities when mypyketTravel.... - ATV bike and zip line - elephant sanctuary morning - phi phi island big boat tour - Phang Nga canoe tour - Phuket fantasea show dinner Because we book a lot with them the gave us free airport pick and drop off. Everything was as advertised. The community was excellent. I knew exactly what time we were being picked up for each activity. If the bus was a little late they got on to the driver and communication what time he would come. I would 100% use my travel Phuket again.

AMAZING.. everyone is so hospitable, humorous, and know their craft. Our boat man Center is Yonge, yet funny and knowledgeable. We felt welcomed, great staff, great food and just can’t wait to go back to them.

So much value and so much fun. Enjoyed the sea canoe the most. So relaxing and enjoyable. Delicious lunch at fishing village and great time on the long boat ride. Long trip on the bus gave opportunity to see the Thai countryside. All up an amazing experience

Just come back from the John Gray hong by starlight and felt compelled to leave a review straight away. This trip was absolutely excellent! Everything was spot on. Boat ride to the islands was comfortable and spacious. A delicious lunch was served and it was a beautiful ride out to the islands. Charlie the tour guide was fantastic - funny and informative. The sea canoeing was great, our guide Aek was great. It was amazing to go in the caves and see all the wildlife. The making and floating of the kratong was great and it was brilliant to see the bioluminescent plankton. All in all a brilliant trip and would highly recommend.

A fantastic value long day and evening. You get two excellent communal meals, a personal guide and canoeist who is knowledgeable and friendly, and get to see beautiful caves and lagoons. Was very excited about the bat cave, which at night was full of stars from the phosphorescence. Our guides taught us to make garlands to float in the sea. A full, very happy day.

It was a great experience canoeing at Hong bay. Great hospitality, friendly and very accommodating staff. Especially Charlie and the most senior crew always make sure we had the best time and safe trip. Food was excellent and they provided many options (lunch, break and dinner). They matched us with a paddle guy who will take care of us throughout the trip. My paddle guy was energetic. He gave information about the nature, canoeing with caution and took great photo. With the price, it comes with respectable group of tourist. It was a long day trip but you wouldn’t feel that tired under the care of these amazing John Gray crew.

This trip was incredible! The food they had for us was amazing! The guides were great and friendly and showed us many animals in the water and on land. We went through caves and canoed around several rock formations! It was so beautiful and well worth the money. I would recommend this to everyone!

This tour had some phenomenal views and allowed us to see some real wildlife such as monkeys and jellyfish. Our canoe guide helped make the experience even better by telling jokes and giving us explanations of the things we were seeing. If you are thinking of trying this canoe tour, just do it. It will be worth your time and money.

The Hon starlight was the Best experience ever! This is a well-run tour with a lot of personalized guides. comfort boat, great lunch and dinner served on board, good food, great fun tour, We went to 2 islands, did a night cave canoe and got to kayak and also did the Katong , it was such a great memory and best experience ever

My partner and I spent one of our afternoons on this wonderful tour. The hosts and crew were friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. It was a relaxing day spent on the water which included a swim and some truely delicious food. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Amazing day! It was a long drive from Patong, over two hours on the bus but it’s a beautiful country! There were only six of us on the trip which made it really special. We went to the monkey cave temple first, we didn’t get to spend too long there but it was really interesting. Then we got on a long tail boat and went out to James Bond Island and had time to go for a swim. Happy (the tour guide) took some lovely pictures for us! We went sea canoeing next, our canoe paddler, Ron, was amazing! He was chatty and fun, and took us through some tiny gaps in the caves to secret lagoons. He also took some cute photos for us and definitely earned his tip! They aren’t paid through the company so we were asked to give him a 100 TBH tip, but he more than earned it! The lunch at Pan Yee was fantastic, there was plenty of food, even for me the vegetarian. I would 100% recommend this trip!
