          Awesome tour and tour guide!
Oz was a very knowledgeable tour guide and the tour was amazing. The small group size of 8 made it easy to interact and get specialized information and attention. We would highly recommend this tour and this tour company. You won’t regret it!

          Great trip
Great experience with excellent guide. Ended up with just 2 couples on the trip, so it was really good. We were left at the entrance to the terrace houses and then met again at the exit of that section, which gave us time to wander, though did mean we perhaps missed some of the more detailed explanations of what it was all about. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and thought it was good value. We were picked up and dropped off at the cruise terminal, it was very nice transport and an excellent guide.

          Ephesus Shuttle
We recently vacationed on a cruise which stopped in Kusadasi and booked (independently from cruise ship) this tour from the port: Ephesus – Terrace Houses – House of Virgin Mary – Artemis Temple. The tour company immediately confirmed our reservation and responded to our questions. Very reliable and efficient, we had no difficultly finding our tour, prices were reasonable. This was an exceptional tour, which my husband and I truly enjoyed!....Our tour guide was Simon, and was very personable, knowledgeable, patient, respectful, exhibiting true appreciation and love for the sites and his country. His English was excellent. This was our first visit, and very memorable. I would highly recommend this tour/tour company. I would repeat this tour if I ever returned to Turkey because it was that amazing!

We highly recommend this tour to all cruise visitors!
We chose Ephesus Shuttle for our shore excursion during our cruise stop in Kusadasi, and we’re so glad we did! Not only did it save us money compared to the ship’s excursions, but the quality of the guide and tour was outstanding. Our guide, Selenay, was excellent—her English was very good, and she had extensive knowledge about the area. We also visited the charming village of Sirince, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and concluded with a stop at the Basilica of St. John. Selenay was flexible with our itinerary, allowing us to visit places we wanted and even extending the tour beyond the planned time. We highly recommend this tour to all cruise visitors!

          Great overview of Istanbul!
We took the Mini Group Tour with TRAM : Ancient Hippodrome – Blue Mosque – Topkapi Palace – St. Sophia – Grand Bazaar. Our guide was very good and did his best to try to avoid the crowds and get in as much as we could while allowing some moments on our own to explore the Grand Bazaar and the Palace. He was flexible and accommodating. He was full of good information. We really enjoyed our tour and recommend it!

          Ephesus tour
We took an Ephesus tour, and it was absolutely incredible! The ancient ruins are breathtaking, especially the Library of Celsus and the Grand Theater. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating details about the history and culture of the site, which made the experience even more enriching. The tour was well-organized, and we had just the right amount of time at each spot to explore and take photos. Highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in history and archaeology. A truly memorable experience! Thanks to our tour guide Furkan! He is very knowledgeable and patient.

Best Tour of Ephesus! Better Than the Cruise Options!
To begin with, I found this tour based on other reviews from people who have visited Kusadasi and went to Ephesus all recommended to do this tour. We are so grateful we did because we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our tour guide Salda was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned about the process to become a tour guide in Turkey and it takes so much including a 4-year degree, certification through a big test, multiple week trip throughout the country learning and visiting all the historical and cultural sites and yearly continued education with archeologists to learn the latest discoveries. Truly impressive and it all showed in our tour. One huge benefit over the cruise tours is that we paid the price of a regular tour and had a private tour for the four of us. The van was incredibly comfortable and we could go and see whatever we wanted and curate the tour based on what we wanted. This was truly an immersive cultural experience learning about Turkish culture and ancient culture of the region. Regardless of you choose this tour or not, make sure the tour you do choose includes the terrace houses in Ephesus. I was in awe throughout them because they are preserved and restored homes of wealthy individuals from ancient Ephesus built into the hillside. These homes were massive and you get to explore them. Everything about Ephesus was amazing and a must see for history buffs or anyone that wants to learn more about how others lived. From there we got time to shop the little market at Ephesus which we were told has must better prices than the areas by the port or grand bazaar. We got to try fresh squeezed pomegranate and orange juice (as recommended by our guide Salda) and it was the perfect treat after walking in the fest and heat for a couple hours. The beauty of this tour is you can have as much or as little time as you want there exploring the ruins. As someone who loves to soak in everything and can take a bit of time moving and absorbing everything, this was perfect for me. Compared to the large cruise ship groups that are being here’s around at a fast pace and with a big group of people. We also went to the temple of Artemis which for those who know is only one pillar left standing as it has been raided for supplies over the centuries. We also had a view of saint John’s basilica which is under reconstruction. There is a great view of three different religions all in one place. I believe you have the option of asking to see the home of the Virgin Mary, but that didn’t interest. It was hard finding a tour that didn’t include it and this was the perfect one for us and our wants. After Ephesus we were taken to and official carpet making factory run by the government to support the dying art of handmade carpet weaving. We were given demonstrations and the opportunity to try our hand a weaving. You never felt pressured to buy anything and it felt more like a learning experience than a shopping stop. Of course there was the option to buy a carpet and know they were authentic and that the money went back fit eh local artisans who spent 9-16 months making just one carpet. Absolutely amazing. An important part of Turkish hospitality, as we learned from Salda is that Turks will always offer you a beverage of choice whether at their store or home and it is impolite to decline. Definitely try their apple tea or Turkish coffee. Many will even offer wine or beer as well. It was truly so welcoming and kind. I felt very safe of every portion of the journey and am inspired to come back and explore more of Turkey! My last bit is that you can’t beat the price of this tour. For $77 a person you get a private curated tour around Ephesus and the local area with tickets for Ephesus and the terrace houses included in the price. That’s at least half of not a third of the cruise ship prices and would cost the ride of a taxi to and from Ephesus alone not including the tickets. It’s an incredible deal and worth every penny.

          Go Private and Go Early
Had a great full day private Ephesus and are tour. Take our advice and start at 8:00 not the usual 9:00 to beat both the crowds and the heat. Really enjoyed our guide, Cenk Daghan. He adds a great personality and sense of humor to the information he provides. Happy to adjust the tour schedule on the fly to accommodate your changing wishes. FYI the Virgin Mary house can have huge lines as the morning moves on. When we arrived we had the place to ourselves. if you find a long line just skip it. The house itself is tiny and was reconstructed from just one corner of a stone foundation. Barely worth 5 minutes. Dagan selected an excellent roadside lunch restaurant. Again by starting our tour early we arrived at 11:30 an beat the tour busses who came later as we were finishing up. this was absolutely the best wat to experience Ephesus. Thanks Daghan!

We were very excited about our upcoming private tour of Ephesus, however, unfortunately due to COVID-19 we had to cancel. Prior to booking I had read great reviews of Ephesus Shuttle - the price was reasonable and they could accommodate our group of 9. The booking process was easy, communication was great as was the cancellation process. We're hoping to return in 2021 and if we do, we'll definitely look to book Ephesus Shuttle again!

We booked Ephesus shuttle as a private tour on August 10th.
We were picked up at the ship (Odyssey of the Seas) by the driver and Mehdi our guide.
Our tour was excellent , very informative and very interesting.
Our guide Mehdi was great. and our entire group of 11 people enjoyed and learned a lot about Ephesus.

This tour was so much better than we expected. We (family of 4, with 2 teens) were picked up promptly in a clean and modern A/C van. It's a short scenic drive from the cruise port to Ephesus. We had a separate driver and guide. Faz was one of the best guides ever! Ephesus was quite busy with tourists, but our guide led us around the crowds easily. He was very knowledgeable about the history and showed us where to take the best pictures. The ancient site and ruins were amazing! We had opted for the lunch, and were so glad we did. It was a nice break from the hot morning. Had a tasty traditional lunch in a lovely private garden. They were able to accommodate our food allergies with no issues. Nearby, there were some local artisans. We were even shown how silk filaments were reeled from the actual cocoons to make silk thread.
This company was very easy to contact, and were prompt in answering emails. Overall, even our teenagers agreed that this was one of our best excursions during our cruise! Ask for Faz T for a guide if you can!

The tour company was not very responsive. But more importantly, the guide, Mehmet was unprofessional and rude, along with offering little explanation of the site. He seemed to be in a hurry to get the tour over with and even headed to the exit before the tour finished, leaving us to explore the site on our own.
