We did a 3 day-2 night trip to southeastern Turkey with Turkey Tour Organizer in October 2024. Although the trip was short we saw so much and really enjoyed every minute! Our guide and driver, Selim Bakir, was fantastic. He lives in the area and knows much about the history and culture. He is also a foodie and expert on Turkish tea so that made it even more fun and enjoyable. He also accommodated our wishes to find the right spots for photography. Our itinerary included Gobeklitepe, Karahantepe, Mt. Nimrut, the historic town of Mardin, the ruins of Dara and the town of Sanliurfa. The hotels were great and thanks to Turkey Tour Organizer we were upgraded to a lovely, large room in Mardin. We would highly recommend travel to this beautiful area of Turkey and the services of Turkey Tour Organizer.

PRIVATE TOUR OF SE ANATOLIA. Our interest in the wealth of ancient history that this area of Turkey had to offer was sparked by a travelogue on UK tv by an archaeologist called, Bettany Hughes. Mainstream travel companies had little to offer but an internet search identified a small Turkish travel company - Turkey Tour Organise (TTO) - who were offering basically the sort of itinerary we wanted. After some initial long distance exchanges with Kadir Akin, the co-owner of TTO, he had put together a most comprehensive and action-packed itinerary that was just what we wanted. This was a 9 day/8 night tour in which Kadir would be both our guide and driver and which included most of the highlights of the region - Zeugma Roman mosaics, Gobek Litepe, Nemrut Dagi - plus stays in major cities such as Sanliurfa, Mardin and Diyarbakir. The hotels used were not your bog-standard Western European- type holiday hotels but had been specifically picked to give a flavour of Turkey. Before the trip, I developed an ankle problem which meant I couldn't walk too far so, while my wife followed the original programme in full, Kadir tailored it to fit my physical limitations - so, it all worked out well. Kadir spoke excellent English and, as well as being an extremely knowledgeable and informative guide, was also a most agreeable person with whom it was a pleasure to spend 9 days. In summary, we thought the tour was excellent, it met all our objectives,and, additionally gave us an insight into both ancient and modern Turkey. In the process, we had fun, it was good value for money and, on the basis of our experience, would highly recommend both Kadir and his company. 5 Star rating not really enough!! I would highlight 2 points of information that might be helpful for any would-be travellers considering this particular tour or using Kadir's company :- 1. You should be aware that our tour involved a lot of driving with about 1200km covered in the 9 day programme. 2. All our dealings were direct with Kadir who, before this holiday, we didn't know. The one third deposit that Kadir required in order to make the necessary booking to book the holiday was paid directly to Kadir's company in Turkey. (With the balance of the total cost cost paid on arrival in Turkey). If, understandably, you have concerns about paying a large amount of money to a man you have not met or a company you have not had dealings with before and, moreover, based in a foreign country, then I can reassure you that we found Kadir and his company to be most reputable and that you should have no qualms about your money being safe with them.

Ali Can Yuce and Turkey Tour Organizer created and delivered a fabulous private tour of Turkiye for our family of five which included Istanbul, Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamon, Pamukkale, Ephesus and Cappadocia. We loved Turkiye with its rich history and beautiful natural landscapes. Through their deep knowledge and excellent storytelling, our guides, Ali Can and Erdem Keseli, brought to life thousands of years of history. Our hotels were outstanding including: in Istanbul, one very close to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topcopi Palace; in Kusadasi, one with outstanding views of the Aegean Sea; and in Cappadocia, an actual cave. We visited amazing sites, ate great food and with our guides walked the streets of cities, finding treasures to buy at local stores and visiting local Turkish coffee and tea shops. We give our highest recommendation to Ali Can and Turkey Tour Organizer.

Erkan & Kadir are partners that run these tours in Turkey. They are both extremely professional in their interactions. Kadir took us around Cappadocia over 4 days and 3 nights. The breadth & depth of his historical knowledge of Europe and the region was simply outstanding. He’s also a very safe driver. Cooking Class: In addition, we embarked upon a cooking class with a local family that he had arranged for us. He is such a natural in the kitchen and is ever so helpful. The local family were simply delightful and we went back the next day to snap a photo with the family as we had forgotten the day before. Hot Air Balloon: Erkan and Kadir were able to secure hot air balloon tickets for us with a company renown for its safety records and excellent pilots despite a very high demand since balloon rides had been cancelled for 3 out of the 4 days we were there by the Civil Aviation Authority due to wind conditions. To say we were impressed by the rigger for accuracy by the hot air balloon crew would be an understatement. (Tip: Book the 2nd sortie of the morning as Erkan & Kadir did for us. You get to witness sun rise.) Erkan & Kadir are well worth the extra money.

I needed to arrange 9 days of travel in Turkey. This included 2 airport transfers, 1 day with limo journey of 11 hours travel time, and 3 days of guided tours. I am a travel agent myself, and googled different options, and spoke with several companies that would provide services. I selected Turkey Tour Organizer because of my confidence with partner Erkan who had perfect English language skills, was very prompt with whatsapp communications (in writing and by call). Prices varied significantly, yet Turkey Tour was actually the lowest, but Erkan was the actual reason his company was chosen. He picked us up late one day at the airport, and provided our first private tour for 2 days later. It was amazing. In spite of the fact I have been to Turkey several times, this trip was for a month. Erkan amazed us with his choice of sightseeing because he carefully listened to what we wanted to do as well as what we did not want to do. My favorite spot in Turkey is now Avanos, a place which we were told most tour leaders avoid. It was amazing and not to be missed. The next day he handed us off to a driver for our 11 hour trip to our next city. It was what I call a limousine and very comfortable, and we had a very accommodating driver. Next day we started touring with a different tour director who partners with Turkey Tour Organizer in the Antalya district. Once again, the owner listened to what we wanted to do and what we did not want to do and he perfectly chose the itinerar y. Our last night with him, before he would drive us to Antalya itself, he was our guest for dinner in Kas. He lived there years before and knew the city inside out and chose a restaurant we never would have found in an area itself which was a tourist location we would never have known about. It was a final end to our travels. Thanks to Erkan who constantly messaged me on a near daily basis to make sure we were happy and that everything was going as planned. FLAWLESS was the answer. We traveled to Turkiye for the first time and had many items on our to-do list. Apart from the obligatory Istanbul sights, we were particularly interested in exploring Roman cities in western Turkiye. As a winemaker, I was interested in visiting wineries in this area. Kadir Akin of Turkey Tour Organizer worked with me and came up with a perfectly tailored itinerary and arranged for an outstanding guide, Tugrul Sokmen to accompany us. The trip was well organized and everything went perfectly like clockwork. Kadir was very prompt in answering any question that had and was ever helpful in sorting out issues even if it did not fall under his responsibility. Financial considerations were clearly explained and confidence inspiring. While Kadir could not be available himself, I greatly appreciated his effort in setting up a wine and cheese table on the last day, watching the Cappadocian sunset in the company of Kadir and his business partner. Our private tour with"Turkey Tour Organizer" was absolutely superb from start to finish. We were very fortunate to have Kadir Akin (Managing Partner) as our driver, guide, and enjoyable companion for the complete tour. Kadir had established an incredible itinerary for us. His knowledge of his own country proved invaluable in establishing a really interesting and rewarding experience. The excellent hotels and restaurants selected by Kadir were all chosen to enhance immersion into the Turkish culture. Our tour was private and as such allowed Kadir to make any adjustments to further improve our experience. Kadir's knowledge of the rich history of Turkey was incredible. He was able to explain historical details to any depth that we wanted and certainly was not boring. His english is impeccable which certainly added to our positive experience. This is a must-do experience when in Cappadocia. We were fortunate to have the best guide, Gonul, who was so friendly and knowledgeable. She first took us to the market in Urgup to purchase some produce. We then drove to our host’s home, both she and the home were lovely. Our host was very warm and welcoming. We had a great time making delicious, authentic Turkish food and chatting about a variety of topics. We ate the best eggplant we have ever had in our lives. I know that everyone comes to visit the sites, as did we, but if you have a little extra time this is a peaceful experience where you have the opportunity to connect with others.

If u want to know the culture of Turkey make friends with people. What can be a better way to do it than cooking and sharing a meal. Serife welcomed me warmly to her home along with her daughter. We cut vegetables together in her kitchen and had great conversations with Kadir being an excellent translator and sous chef. He explained each step of the cooking. Kadir also has a secret talent that he shares if u are in the class. At the end of all the peeling, cutting and cooking, I knew a lot more about Turkish culture, cuisine and also where locals shop.We made yogurt Soup, Karni Yarik (eggplant kebab with vegetable toppings), Turkish Rice and Bulamac (slurry) dessert and turkish coffeecoffee with fresh and some home made ingredients. Ofcourse we ate it too after all the cooking. I am glad I had this experience which is not the usual touristy experience yet an enriching one.

Turkey Tour Organizers is one of the best travel and touring company I have dealt with. Our 14-day trip was amazing, thanks to Kadir and his team. Their professionalism and attention to details is exceptional. Our entire tour was extremely well organized and customized for us. Our flight into Istanbul was delayed, and landed at 4am, instead of the previous afternoon. Throughout this time, Kadir was regularly in touch with us, to make transfer arrangements accordingly. Having lost a day required making changes to our itinerary. Kadir was very helpful and we managed to cover everything we had originally planned. My wife, who has some limitations walking and getting in & out of vans, Kadir took care of her immaculately! He would personally bring out a step stool and help her down each time. Imagine taking a tour with a someone who figures out your preferences before you say anything, makes arrangements that are exactly to your taste, has deep knowledge of the history and culture of all parts of Turkey, and is a delightful traveling companion. That’s what my wife and I got from Turkey Tour Organizer. Our 16-day trip included 5 nights in Istanbul, 4 in Cappadocia, and briefer visits to Konya, Pamukkale, Bergama, and Ephesus. We contacted Turkey Tour Organizer (in a blind internet search) with only a general statement of the amount of time we had available and the towns we were most interested in visiting. Kadir responded almost immediately, asking a few questions and making several good suggestions. A few days later we had a detailed itinerary and very reasonable quote. We hesitated, having always traveled on our own, but decided to proceed. One of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made! Burcin was our guide in Istanbul and Kadir was our guide for the rest of Turkey. Both are excellent guides and interesting and enjoyable conversationalists. The itinerary included the usual favorite spots for a first-time visit to Turkey, but Burcin and Kadir also provided experiences that we wouldn’t have gotten on our own or on a standard tour. For example, at restaurants they helped us pick out Turkish dishes that we hadn’t tried previously. They suggested good changes to the itinerary as they learned more about our interests. Burcin, knowing that I do some photography, arranged for a photographer friend to walk me around a picturesque neighborhood that wasn’t part of the itinerary. Kadir arranged on two afternoons for us to have meals with Turkish families: we went to the local market to buy food, “helped” prepare the meal, and shared it with the family. When my watch battery died, Kadir found a tiny clock repair shop in Bergama, an adventure in itself. They seemed to enjoy our endless stream of questions about Turkey's economy, politics, and culture. In short, Turkey Tour Organizer and Kadir’s team are wonderful – you can’t go wrong.
