Perfect trip to the Hittites capital
I took a solo trip with Stoneland Travel and Selim to Hattusas. They are excellent guys! The company charges reasonable prices for solo tours, and their reps quickly respond and keep good contact. Selim is not only professional, but also kind and fun. He told me many amazing facts about the Hittites which I couldn't find in the books. Thanks very much to Selim and Stoneland Travel for one wonderful day in my life:)

          Must do in cappadocia
We had a fanatic day. Would absolutely recommend. Loved the half way stop on the walk with benches in the river. Underground city is so amazing, it is claustrophobic however my 6ft4 boyfriend managed so unless it really bothers you don’t let it put you off ! Selim is a great tour guide too.

          Great trip
A great trip thanks to Selim who was very knowledgeable and managed to show us a wide range of attractions in a single day without ever making it feel rushed. An absolute pleasure.

          Good Experience
After all of the reviews I read online, a lot of the reviews said to go on the Green tour over the Red tour. I have to say I disagree - I am definitely glad I did both. We did the Red tour the day before the Green tour, so some of the information was similar, but we got to see some really cool stuff. A lot of the locations were far apart, so you do spend quite a bit of time in the car. The underground city was definitely the highlight. The lunch on the river was very cool, but I could've replaced something else after lunch instead of doing a random walk in the woods that doesn't lead you to see anything. I would've rather seen something unique to the Cappadocia region. Tip about the Underground City: DO NOT GO if you are claustrophobic. Also, if you are very tall and cannot crouch low, that may not be the experience for you. Some of the passages are very narrow and very short.

Selim is your man in Cappadocia!
We spent 2 days with Selim, our guide, and his driver and we had the best time ever. Not the typical, teacher-like guide you are used to. On the contrary, a down-to-earth, intelligent, witty man that would make most western guides look like a fool when it comes to how to treat tourists and how to manage with different characters/backgrounds. The 2 tours explore different parts of the wider Cappadocia region and if you book both of them, you have practically seen all attractions. If you are lucky to hop on a non-crowded tour, which was the case for the red tour for us, you "ll enjoy it more. The green tour was fully booked and due to the lack of respect of some people, the schedule was derailed. Again, Selim saved the day. He expedited the hiking part of the tour to make sure we had time for a coffee and ... shopping break. Win-Win situation for tourists and local merchandisers 😉😉 Would I reccomend the 2 tours? Absolutely. We enjoyed ourselves, we learned new staff and we did not feel bored or tired. Cappadocia is an amazing place but hard to navigate on your own. This travel agency made it easy for us!!

          Excellent Green Tour by Ali
Tour was well-paced and our guide Ali was informative, knowledgeable, interesting and funny. He helped us take photos and answered all our questions. He also helpfully pointed out toilet breaks, and he was accommodating with our last-minute request for a different drop off location. We would have enjoyed stronger aircon in the bus as it was quite suffocating in the heat, and could have done without the stop at the jewellery store. Overall highly recommend!

Skip the Green and Red Tours
Every second shop sells these tours. Every second tourist takes them. Two problems: each take a day and both waste your time with visits to shops for sweets, carpets, ‘gemstones’ and pottery (‘ special’prices are raised by commissions to tour companies). A better option is to gather 2-4 people and take a taxi and driver for One day to the few places of real interest eg an underground city and Uksidar castle. Take walks to either Rose or Love Valley on the second day.

          Amazing tour of Derinkuyu
We went on a private tour of Derinkuyu underground city with Ramazan and learned so much! He is a local of Kappadokia and has a degree in history, so he could offer us a lot of information about the caves and the whole region in general. We learned a lot about the long history of Kappadokia and would love to have another tour with Ramazan!

          Don’t Miss Out on Hattuşa!
On 12.06.2024 we spent the day with our guide Selim to go see Hattuşa and we had the best time! It’s a bit of a drive from where we were staying in Göreme, but Selim shared all kinds of interesting information about the area and it’s a really cool way to see Turkey. The archaeological site itself is breathtaking. As Americans, we’re not used to this kind of access to significant historical sites and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. It was June during our visit- I would recommend sun screen and a hat, and a decent pair of shoes since there is a small bit of hiking to do. But it was a beautiful, warm day, with a nice breeze since you are at some elevation. Lunch was also a treat- Selim took us to a great local restaurant and we greatly enjoyed our conversation during the meal! It’s definitely a long day, but if you love history and you love seeing something totally unique, I would suggest you go on this tour! You don’t want to miss out. Thank you Selim and Stoneland Travel for the unforgettable experience!

          Great experience!
Great organization, warm welcome and all attention on details to provide a super experience. We flight from Istambul and spend 2 days in Cappadocia and all went smoothly and with all people from the agency taking care of us. A special thank you to Mehemet and the guides, Selin (who is very nice, super friendly, a young lively human being that is always smiling - besides she knows were to find the best Expresso in Cappadocia 😀) and Selime (a intelligent man with a deep knowledge of history and with a strong willingness to share it in a simple and amusable way - a very wise an simple human being). Highly recommended!

          Great Green tour experience
This tour is a must do. While there is a lot of driving involved and solid walking, each site is worth the trip. The underground city is amazing ( beware if you have bad knees or are claustrophobic) and the ilhara Valley a total enchantment. Lunch next to the river was delightful. Selime monastery is fantastic but wear the right shoes. The climb is steep! Thank you to Stoneland travel for a great day out:)

Varied tour of key sites in Cappadocia
Highly recommend this tour. We generally prefer to do things independently but I’m glad we booked the green tour with Stoneland. We covered so much ground and there was a lot of variety. We could not easily have done his ourselves. Our guide was lovely and we learned a lot. The pace was perfect, at each site it was never too long or too rushed.

          The best tour in Cappadoccia
I went on the green tour with Selen and drive amca Feze from stone land travel. The tour was super fun because of them. Selen knows a lot about the history of Cappadocia and she can also speak English very well. I'm glad Selen was our tour guide. If you can ask for a tour guide, I would definitely ask for Selen. Greetings Seray
