- 1Thank you very much for your interest in our Hot Air balloon tour. Our standard flight offers 1- hour duration in the air. The baskets are also 20 between 28 person, which means they are divided into 5 and 9 parts. Again the pilot is located in the central compartment, This is great fun and a fantastic way to see the landscape and fairy chimneys of the region in one hit. Our Pilots have huge knowledge of the area, speak English and know how to fly this region so well.

We had an amazing experience with Skyway, we’re the first in the air hence we got to see the other balloons take off as well as flying among them later. Our pilot Emre bora and Erdogan are extremely skillful which make us fell really safe and relaxed. They were very professional, they picked us up in our hotel on time and arrived in the take off area early so we could see how they inflate the balloon. Our lady pilot Buket was really fun and cool. She made us feel very safe during the entire flight. After we landed we were able to try how to deflate the balloon ourselves . Overall experience with Skyway was really awesome. Originally booked from the USA with Turquaz but all flights were canceled due to Turkish government on October 2, 2024. We blindly booked this company through a tours shop located by our hotel without knowing who the vendor would be. Many of the vendors, or at least the tour companys were price gauging as a result of cancelled fligts before so we ended up paying about $125/person more than our original booking but this was the whole reason we came to Cappadocia so i paid. Not sure if it was skyway or the agencies but either way I'm not mad because i heard many people had same experience. I stayed extra nights in Cappadocia just in case.
The driver was a few minutes late but our agent kept us in the loop and the driver got us to the already inflated balloon in time for takeoff.
The flight was super smooth, we saw the sunset from the air and the landing was fantastic, directly into the truck's trailer.
I recommend this company.

From start to finish this trip was amazing. Super professional and safe our flight could not have been better. Our pilot made sure we had the best sunrise view possible and from an incredible height we could not only see the landscape but a Birds Eye view of all the other ballon’s. This is a 10/10 experience. Don’t come to Cappadocia without doing this.

The overall experience was truly unreal—you must do this tour!
Everyone is super professional. We were picked up from our hotel around seven, and although we initially thought we were late since the tour starts at six, everything was incredibly efficient upon arrival. We quickly got into our basket, and our balloon took flight.
Our captain was absolutely fantastic, expertly navigating us through breathtaking views of the sunrise over the valleys. We soared over Red Valley and Love Valley, experiencing incredible highs and gentle descents.
Overall, it was a wonderful adventure. I can't emphasize enough—you have to do this. It's the best tour ever!

Our hotel has booked us a balloon flight tour with this company. It was originally booked for July 1 with a different company, but the wind was strong so it was cancelled then we were told by the hotel that if we wanted to fly on July 2, we would need to pay €80 extra per person. At first I have questioned why I would have to pay extra as it was not my fault that no balloons flew on the 1st but the hotel said that the prices have increased due to the fact that a lot wanted to fly. Balloon flight was the main reason why we came to Cappadocia so we paid €80 extra per person to secure our place, making us pay €280/person for this balloon flight. On the day of the balloon flight, the driver was on time in picking us up from our hotel which was great. They gave us a bag containing foods and drinks. When we arrived at the flying point, the crew had already started inflating the balloon, I thought we would have the experience of watching the balloon being inflated from start to finish, but when we came it was already halfway inflated. Once the balloon was inflated, the crew rushed all of us to get inside the balloon. No safety instructions given to us, like if we are allowed to put our hands outside while flying, we were only told how to position ourselves during landing. The flight took 1hour, the balloon pilot was good in maneuvering the balloon, thanks to good weather too it was a smooth ride. The part that I did not like was, it felt like we were too far from other balloons, so taking photos with the other balloons as the background was a tough thing to capture. Everytime we get close to other balloons, the pilot seems to move away from them. Other balloons were flying really close to each other so I think it would have been fine if we also stayed close with the others. Another let down with this experience was the crew started to deflate the balloon immediately as soon as we safely landed, leaving us no chance to take photos outside the basket with the balloon still inflated - I don't know if it is the same with other company though or if this is a standard procedure. But it would have been nice if they let us take some photos with the balloon. The landing place was also too far from other balloons which are still up on the air so it was also impossible to get them on our photos as background. The balloon flight itself was fine and amazing as we get to witness the sunrise while we were up in the air.

We are sorry for the negativity you experienced. However, the problem you experienced is not related to our business. You purchased the balloon tour ticket from the hotel and did not contact us. It is your hotel that reflects the price difference to you.
There is a fixed price application in our business. In case of cancellation, we do not follow a different price policy.

Excellent service and experience. Many balloons start too early (take off in the dark) or a bit too late we started on time to enjoy the sunrise in the air. Our experienced pilot took close to the formations and above the clouds during sunrise with confidence. It was magical.

Felt really safe, incredible views and fantastic team! Our pilot was Kemal Aygördü who did a fantastic job at keeping us informed at what was around us and being humorous too. The views are absolutely incredible with many other hot air balloons in the sky at the same time so this is a completely unique experience worth every penny.

I booked a balloon tour for May 26, and in the terms sad that IF there was a cancellation by the Agency, because of the whether conditions, the Agency would try to reschedule according my itinerary. It never happened, although. After the cancellation, therefore, I contacted them, for reschedule for May 27, and they just said that “it was not available for May 27”, but in the Get your Guide was available, for the double of the price that I paid when I did the reservation months ago - so, they have “places”, just not for the original price. We are very frustrated with this situation that seems more like a scheme.

An adventure I will never forget! The hot air balloon ride over the magical region of Cappadocia was simply amazing. From the heights, I could admire the unique geography of this place: the rocky valleys, the conical formations, and the underground cities.
The feeling of floating in the air as the sun rose over the horizon was indescribable. The warm colors of sunrise painted the sky and created a dreamlike setting. The silence was broken only by the occasional burner of the balloon and the gasps of astonishment from the passengers.
The pilot and crew were professional and friendly. They guided us skillfully, making sure we all had a perfect view. The panoramic views of fairy chimney valleys, troglodyte villages and vineyards were unforgettable.
Upon soft landing, we toast with champagne to celebrate this unique experience. Without a doubt, the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia is a must-see activity for any traveler.

This was one of the best experiences on our trip to Turkiye. I thought it might be a little too "touristy" and was worried that my wife, who is afraid of heights, would have a bad time. But...we got to the launch area before dawn and the sight of all the balloons being filled with hot air with the flames from their jets was amazing to start. There was even a couple getting married in full regalia having pictures taken in front of the balloons. The baskets were driven up on trailers behind pickup trucks (more on that later) and the balloons were attached. The baskets hold 24 people, so it was pretty tight, but once we took off it was amazing. We were in the midst of over 150 balloons, all different colors. We drifted over the "fairy chimneys" and saw the sun rise. I looked over at my wife and she had one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen - so much for fear of heights! After a nice long trip, we started to drift down toward our landing area, and we saw our truck driving to position the trailer under us - and our pilot landed right on the trailer! He said he'd been doing this for over 10 years, and it's something all the pilots try to do, but we saw a lot of them struggle to get it right. Ours got it right, and we all came out with a big yell along with big applause. I highly recommend this company!!
