    In the Izmir Sightseeing Tour, our first stop is Kordonboyu, with its transformed coastline Izmir’s famous Kardon, has been the theme of many poems and lyrics. The Kordon is known to be full of  life and culture. Having a very significant an prominent role in Izmir, Kordonboyu is the place to visit with its blue bay, green coast, sunset, and the ships coming to the bustling port and taking off again to disambark their passengers and welcome a new group. It is also magnifecent place to walk. All along the strip you will find various restaurants, bars and cafes. The sea breeze in the evenings brings about an enjoyable gentle wind and enchanting sight. Take the time to taste the city together with residents.
    Where Kordon meets the city is Republic Square, In the middle of the center you will find a splendor statue of the founder of Turkish Republic ”Ataturk”. One of the popular places to shoot photos. Now give yourself a short rest and take photos.
    Then we will continue to walk on Kordonboyu, As the Kordonboyu wraps the city of Izmir like necklace, with a brief walk down the Kordon, you will reach to the Konak Square, In the center of  Konak you will find the symbol of  Izmir. The Clock Tower and its close friends, the pigeons. From the late Ottoman clock tower, described by Goodwin as ’mauresque bibelot’, to the open air city bus terminal strollers enjoying the Imbat, mingle with passengers waiting for bus or ferry boat to Karsiyaka. A few meters a way in warren twisting lanes and narrow courts, are the shops of  Izmir’s Bazaar. Here a bewildering range of goods-everything from flowers to antiques is on offer at bargain price. After the lunch break, We will get the ferry to Karsiyaka approximately takes about 40 minutes. Karsiyaka district is one of the finest sites in Izmir with beautiful bazaar, great malls and lots of shopping possibilities. Then we take a ferry to Alsancak.

    The square is a symbol of the city of Izmir. The surrounding area is a gathering place for people. Its proximity to the sea has made it an attractive destination for tourists.

    During the summer I don't advise anyone to visit this clock tower area because it's very hot. For night times you can go there and view around. My honest view is nothing much to see there. This tower is surrounded by official buildings. Instead of...More
