Our red Tour with Tripster was fantastic. Our guide, Şahin, was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with many interesting facts about the wonderful, sights, museums, and churches (fantastic frescos in the churches by the way). I would fully recommend this tour!

Unfortunately, another balloon flight company cancelled our flight, I was very upset, because it was the last day in Cappadocia. We tried to find available ticket for the ballon flight, and very kind woman helps us. She did it in the evening, it takes her about 2 hours and she helps us to find a ticket with normal price. I was so happy, so I kindly recommend this company.

If you are visiting the beautiful village of Safranbolu and wonder, "How will I get back to the airport?", send a message to Ahmed at Paphlagonia Tours, and he can arrange for a private transfer for you. I contacted him before traveling to the area, and he offered a private transfer at an accommodating rate. He was timely in picking me up at the place I was staying and got me to the airport in time. The airport is small but our flight departed 10 minutes early, so plan to get there in time! And while driving there, you can get in all your last-minute questions and learn from Ahmed's extensive knowledge of the area.

This is a very reliable service. They communicated with me before, and while waiting for my flight, I did not have to be concerned about getting picked up. The transport was comfortable, and Ahmed was pleasant and professional and got me to my lodging in the exact time specified.

We went on the green tour with our amazing local guide Ahmet. He is very knowledgeable and shared with us history of the underground city and the various ancient sites. Overall, it was a pleasant, insightful and smooth journey with him.

Last week I had amazing red tour with Shahin. The whole day was well organized according to the description given in advance. I was lucky to have Shahin as our gide. He is very intelligent and interesting person. I heard him speaking 4 languages fluently! He is trying to tell more about the history of the places we visit in a bit different way. Actually he is not treating his guest like just another group that will come and go. That is why he is taking us to places away from the traditional instagram sports that everybody goes to. The day started with a cup of traditional coffee and a breathtaking view from Uchisar castle. We headed to the Open air musem where i learned a lot from Shahin. We had lunch in a cave restaurant near Avanos and also visited a pottery workshop and demonstration. I highly recommend doing your red tour with Paphlagonia. They organize small groups which is much comfortable. Thank you so much Shahin!

I used Paphlagonia for a 16 days tour my guide with the owner Ahmid. He was very knowledgeable about beautiful Turkey but if we did the trip again we would NEVER use Paphlagonia ! .He really rushed us through the tour and did not go the pace we agreed on at the time we arranged our tour. .Since He went at a very fast pace & the reason we hire private guides is that my husband are travel journalist so we found there were so much about Turkey he did not cover When we would ask basic questions about Turkey he seem to avoid us which was important for our article,

I booked the hotel transfer, balloon, red tour, green tour, turkish night, horse riding and atv with Paphlagonia . I only booked the Turkish bath elsewhere. Goreme is full of tour operators , up and down the high street , online and via your hotel. I would say at least 80% or more would be trust worthy and give you a good service , but you don't want to be one of the tourists trying to get your money back if the balloons get cancelled or realised someone else booked the same tour as you at a cheaper rate. Paphlagonia offer a competitive service without compromising quality . Price ranges are pretty big in Goreme. Hotel transfer - a bit more expensive than others. Horse riding - Through Sword and Rose Valley. Excellent. Well guided, horses well looked after , and perfectly timed for a wonderful sunset. Absolute bargain for the price . Green tour - Ilhara , Belisrma, Selime Monastry, undergound city, crater lake . Tour guide was very knowledgeable however his quality of english let him down . We ran a bit behind schedule and missed out on the onyx factory and pigeon valley. Food for lunch was very mediocre and overpriced. Still very good value for money Balloon- Be careful booking with others, as if wind picks up and the balloons gets cancelled, some agents can hike the price as much as $ 400 a ticket for the next day. There are limited number of spaces on balloons. I think 150nr total. Luckily we booked well in advance . We had excellent weather and the pilot was extraordinary. Don't bother buying the video from the balloon pilot. its 40 euros and filmed using goo 360. You have to download software to view it and it runs at different speed. Unless you are familiar with this kind of stuff , its a waste of money. Very fortune that Paphlangonia got us on the balloon. ATV - Its about 50% on a road and paving area to love valley. quiet boring. The instructor is excellent. one of the atv's breaks failed while a guy was going downhill . luckily no one was hurt . its got nothing to do with the agency , just the sheer number of tourists , expect 300-400 atvs at sunset . its very busy and a dust storm. Its not worth it in my opinion, stick to horse riding, you see more and get closer to the rock formations. Red Tour - Absolutely superb. very well organised , very informative and lots of interesting stuff. Open Museum , Urchisar Castle, Pottery shop , Avenos. Excellent lunch in a cave . if there is only time for one activity in Goreme , this is the one you want to be one. Sultan Cermics and Urchisar Castle are incredible. Turkish night - Superb entertainment . great fun to get out . Food average (even though its in the same venue as the lunch on the red tour) . Definitely worth doing . Marina was excellent in making all our activities work and giving us memories we will never forget. Thank you for all your hard work and i wish you and your business every success in the future

My wife and I did the green tour. We easily walked into the office and booked the tour. We weren’t planning on the tour and even showed up late but they were able to accommodate. The tour itself showed several different historical sites and even had a nice little river walk. Lunch was later in the day, but was very tasty.

Amazing tour guide! Energetic, Enthusiastic and Informative. The tour was a bit long though. 10am to 8pm, but definitely worth it.

I spent the first 2 days of my stay in Cappadocia in a night mare!! But once I came to know & deal with this Extraordinary people in Paphlagonia made the whole remaining days much more than Wonderful! Mr. Shahin was extremely professional! I visited many authentic places that Were amazing. Everything I experienced through this group was more than wonderful, professionally arranged & simply the BEST..!
