- Guthrie10 contributionsA fantastic day out! This excursion is nothing short of fantastic! My husband and our two teenagers all had an amazing day on this trip. The tour guide ‘Jesus’ was very knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We learned so much about the areas we visited and Turkey in general. The boat ride provides beautiful views and the mud baths are so much fun. I loved the thermal bath, it was so lovely and relaxing after the cold shower to get the mud off. I was worried it would be packed but it wasn’t at all. The highlight for me was seeing the turtles. I can’t tell you how many trips I’ve been on where they’ve promised I’ll see a turtle and then we didn’t. No issues this time! The turtle was about 2m away from me. Breathtaking. The food was good, not great but very adequate. The photographer is also very good, not intrusive and the photos are really lovely. There is an opportunity to buy crab to eat and feed the shells to the turtles. We don’t eat crab for religious reasons but I regretted not getting one because you are much more likely to see the turtles if you chuck the crab shells into the water. Overall this is great value for money and highly recommended.Written 28 October 2024
- JanteandDave0 contributionsA fantastic day tripIt is quite a long day but we'll worth it. Our tour guide was excellent. She was so friendly and helpful and very informative. The scenery was spectacular, and the mud bath was so much fun. Even the food at lunch was quite a good standard. We spent an hour and a half on Turtle beach wich was a nice break from the travelling and saw quite a few turtles which was great. We couldn't fault this day trip. We will always be a happy memory for us. Thanks to the tour guide and everyone else for a great dayout. Dave and Jenny from Plymouth UKWritten 24 October 2024
- Ryan C0 contributionsCheck before you book!If you like turkish hip hop music, go for it! lol Me and my mother wer just 2 of 4 English speaking travelers on the trip. The lunch was nothing special at all. The crew were all friendly enough and the scenery is fantastic. Just remember, once you get on the boat, u can't get off it. Other tours of this kind may appeal more for an English crowd, possibly book through your hotel. Our hotel, the Ramada, did offer this for only hotel guests only at the same price but ours was booked before we left the UK.Written 10 October 2024
- Karen M0 contributionsApaz boat tripApaz Boat booked on the quayside of Fethiye harbour. Murat sold us a boat trip and lots of other couples staying that ‘ no loud music ‘ . It was 50 decibel full on music all day !! Evening the pirate ship we passed had quieter music. If your looking for a quiet relaxing boat trip do not take Apaz boat.Written 27 September 2024
- H3849RTpaulac0 contributionsWonderful history, shabby facilities. The pick up was excellent. We didn’t want to use the mud baths but it was an experience being there. Lunch was a shambles. We had preordered but no one seemed to know why it had been necessary. The venue has stray dogs walking around while you eat and the food was like warm at best. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The tombs are incredible and we had good time to photograph them. I’m not sure there was ever an expo that we’d see turtles. The beach was busy and quite shabby. The loungers were extremely basic and cost 300TL for our use. The photographer takes photos all day and then uploads them to your phone for a fee - 900TL. It would have improved things if the boat owner hadn’t smoked throughout despite a sign saying not to smoke. Overall, it was worth it for the history but would happily not have had the day filled with the other elements vWritten 2 September 2024

- 762saqibc0 contributionsA nice family day outThe sites themselves are incredible and worth seeing. The tour guide had excellent English and was very friendly. The only downside was the lack of AC in the coach. It made the journey uncomfortable.Written 4 August 2024
- Juliedean2220 contributionsScenic trip on river tripEnjoyed the trip. They picked us up early. It was a long day. We went to.mud bath and then hot springs. My husband and grandson did the mud bath. I've done it before and with my athritus decided too much of risk to do it as risk of slipping and concrete around edge. The sulphur bath was nice and good for me. The river cruise was excellent. Really enjoyed this. The river is beautiful and it was a pleasant experience. We had lunch which I enjoyed but couldn't eat it all. Turtle beach is wonderful. When we went the sea was rough. My grandson stayed on sand and enjoyed making sandcastles. The beach is beautiful and I enjoyed jumping the waves. We saw turtles on the river near the jetty. I've done trip before but still enjoyed doing this again xWritten 28 July 2024
- amcook150 contributionsThis is a must!!Well organised… collected from hotel and a fantastic tour guide (Jesus 🤣 you’ll understand when you meet him) for the whole time. You need to carry cash! All drinks etc are paid in cash. They have a 40 lira entrance to Saklikent (Hidden city) is the biggest gorge. The canyon I believe goes about 18km. You need a sole on your shoes to cope with rocks, don’t do it in flip flops, sandals with a buckle, old trainers you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. You will get to bum height in water at various parts as you venture through the canyon. You’ll be blown away with its size and beauty. You are taken early morning which is best as it’s quiet. It does get very busy by lunch. You then go up the mountain to a lovely place with a waterfall for lunch, option of chicken fish or a Turkish bread with potato’s or cheese or a mix. I recommend this it’s so good! Buffet salad potatoes and pasta, you pay for your drinks, cash again. You then head to Tlos the ancient city, this is full of culture. There’s a lot of info so record on your phone if you want to retain the history as there’s a bit to get your head around! Stunning place and scenery. It was a hot day which you only felt around Tlos but it’s worth walking around and go to the top! 360 view!! Amazing trip so happy I did thisWritten 12 July 2024

- smdp290 contributionsNot so great experienceBoat ride was good. But otherwise it was not so fulfilling. First of all we were picked up from the hotel to a spot in a different vehicle then from that place we were set to a bus with Russian guide and we were not share any information during 1 and half hours of our journey in the bus to Dalyan. Then during the boat ride our English guide met us and shared necessary information while we were supposed to enjoy the ride. Afterwards we learnt that for two bus and two boat the company has arranged only one guide. The food served during lunch was of poor quality.Written 5 June 2024
- planty20170 contributionsA vintage guide for a vintage experienceThe whole day was a delight made more enjoyable by the irrepressible enthusiasm of our guide Daniella - such knowledge and enthusiasm should be bottled like the great growths we tasted. Great picnic lunch and a small friendly group added to the enjoyment. Something that any visitor to Bordeaux must do as it is the essence of the wine culture of the region.Written 3 May 2024
