Having a spare day in Entebbe, I was lucky enough to come upon the free walking tour. It is very easy to sign-up to, using the Immersion website and the communication is very clear and precise.

I met Arthur at Victoria Mall, who was a friendly and charismatic guide. Arthur was very informative and was happy to spend time with me discussing everything from politics to football, whilst taking in this beautiful city of Entebbe.

A highlight was the Botanical Gardens and I would recommend visiting with your guide as they can add commentary to the enchanted sights.

First, hats off to ImmersionUG for the level of professionalism exhibited during my booking of the trip and the actual trip 👌🏾

As a Ugandan national, I found the Entebbe tour to be very informative.
I got a vision of Entebbe as it was during the colonial era when it was the seat of power before Kampala was made the Capital City.

It was good to re-visit places like the Zoo & Botanical gardens that I last saw on a school trip when i was most likely 8 years old. It's an optional part of the tour, but definitely worth it if you want to do some animal and bird sighting.

Since i'm a foodie, i loved that the tour guide showed me the hotspots in town that offer good muchomo (roasted meat), rolex, pork etc.

My highlight was definitely when we got a historic tour of the Lake Victoria Hotel (L.V.H). by one of the hotel staff. L.V.H was the first hotel in Uganda built by Sir Andrew Cohen to accommodate British visitors during the colonial era. It's known for British architecture and swimming pool designed by an Olympian during Idi Amin's reign.

Since it's a 3-hour walking tour, one definitely has to be in a bit of shape before considering this however i've read from other reviews that you are free to opt out midway of the tour in case you do not want to continue.

I am in Entebbe for only a few days on my own and wanted to see the town through a locals eyes. Arthur was an excellent guide and the morning passed quickly capping it off with lunch at the Rolex Guy to get a taste of local street food. Wasn't disappointed. I can highly recommend this group whether alone or as a group to learn about Entebbe and Uganda. Great, intelligent conversation and fun facts!

We had a nice walk through Entebbe with guide Arthur. Arthur knows everything about Entebbe and its history, but also about Uganda. Nice to talk with him about all kinds of things, like sports, culture, politics and history. He is super friendly, clear in communication and on time.

I had a really great walking tour through Entebbe. Arthur was guiding me and was such a friendly person, providing so much information. The town itself isn’t too big, so you can conveniently go by foot. You’ll see some colonial buildings, markets and some hidden chill out spots. Great last days of my Uganda trip

After visiting Uganda several times, we decided to get to know Entebbe a bit more. We were lucky to find this free walking tour and even more fortunate to have Arthur as our guide. He spent four hours with us (and two other people) taking us through various parts of the city, the marvelous botanical gardens, a fun rolex snack shop, and some historical points. Arthur was friendly, smart, and enthusiastic about Entebbe. You'll enjoy this city tour!

We spent 2-1/2 hours with Arthur, walking to historic sites and landmarks in Entebbe. Arthur provided much information and we learned a lot from him. His English is very good and he is personable and knowledgeable. Just what we wanted, an overview of the town.

It was a good walk, Entebbe is very small. It gave me a good context and links to other activities to do in the city.
