Great day out to the island to see the chimpanzees. On the way back the boat stopped at the equator for a photo. Diana, our driver was a great host.

The main tour guide picks you up from the city and takes you to the boat docking area, you enjoy a boat trip, then a guide takes over on the island - joined up. Only 4 out of 5 stars because it is a bit pricey. If you have cash you could save money doing the stages yourself.

The chimps and the island was fine the reason for the low rating is the value for the money. Already was expensive costing $240 for the trip supposed to be from 9am to 3pm. Was only 15 minutes from my hotel. I was flying out that night so wanted something to last most of the day. Was very surprised when they had me back from boat ride at 12:30 not 3! Was on the island only 2 hours total. I explained my trip was supposed to end at 3 pm but fell on deaf ears.

Would definitely recommend this visit! From when I booked, the communication about arrangements was great, really prompt and clear which is always reassuring when you're going somewhere by yourself. Diana was an absolutely fantastic guide, so friendly and enthusiastic, and very kindly took lots of extra photos for me when I was worried about running out of battery! The journey to and from the island itself was a great experience, even in slightly rough weather on the way out. The setting on the island is so beautiful, and Philip, who introduced us to the sanctuary and led the tour, was brilliant - so knowledgeable and with contagious passion for the work the sanctuary is doing. Seeing the chimpanzees, their relationships with each other and with everyone who works at the sanctuary was incredible, I left completely inspired by it all. There are also so many amazing birds everywhere! There's also a gift shop with lots of really lovely souvenirs crafted by women living on neighbouring islands.

Wonderful way to spend a day in Entebbe - starting with an early morning boat ride, and fun interactive experience with the chimpanzees.

Had a fantastic time with Myler in Uganda. Everything was hassle-free and flexible. They put together a really perfect bespoke itinerary at a reasonable price. Travelling solo was no problem and no extra and payment was online and secure (some other places expect cash). Obviously, the gorillas were the stars of the show but Joy's excellent tricky driving and patience, Moses and Diana's communications and lifts and the general experience with all at Myler were great additions, and helped to create a wonderful experience. Thank you all.

The staff were friendly. The boat cruise was educational and mind blowing. Source of river Nile is really beautiful. Amon our tour guide was very patient !

My wife and I booked a private 10 day trip around Uganda with Myler. We actually booked though Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. We had Moses as our guide for the trip and we has exceptional. We saw all the animals we wanted to see (big 5) and the gorillas and chimpanzees. Moses coordinated with local guides at the parks to ensure we had a great experience finding the big 5. He was great to talk with and was professional and polite. We really appreciated him taking us of the beaten path to see some parts of the trip that normally tourists don’t, but we had a strong interest in seeing. He advised us of good restaurants and ATMs, etc. We pivoted slightly due to weather from our initial itinerary however we still covered all the major highlights and activities promised. It was incredibly helpful to have a guide/driver as many of the activities and guides we would have had great difficulty arranging ourselves. Having a guide with local knowledge and familiarity with roads was incredibly valuable. Communication before the trip was good and I would strongly advise having cellular access while in Uganda as it was very helpful to communicate with Moses during our time there. The accommodations were good and varied from an amenity perspective throughout the trip. Some had fire pits and pools/lake access. While others where smaller and had small dining areas only. All the hotels had bars and restaurants on site were we had our dinners and breakfasts. All restaurants at the various properties were able to accommodate my wife’s gluten free and vegetarian diet preferences.

Chimpanzee trekking at kibale was amazing. Great services myler Africa Safaris. We has our tour guide Diana. She was so patient and friendly.
