I am an avid traveler and have traveled many countries. Sometimes it so happens that you end up in a beautiful country like Vietnam and you do not have enough time to complete your bucket list. You are in a limbo land trying to figure out how to fit everything in your itinerary. One of my items on my bucket list was to go for Paragliding in Da Nang. Unfortunately I had just three days in Da Nang and there was a lot of things on my itinerary. Here is where i came to know Cuong who was my assigned travel guide in Da Nang. I took courage to tell him in the morning that this paragliding was on my bucket list and I was irked that I will not be able to make it for Paragliding. He was positive and he kept telling me that he will make it happen for me. Unfortunately for him - the tour operators Venus does not let us go leave until 3:30 in the evening that day. But he told me that it would be better that I I take the trip you think a two Wheeler and traveling to the Son Tra Peninsula. He made my trip to Bana Hills memorable by providing guidance with food and all the locations so that I can cover everything during the day. We noticed clouds were in the vicinity and he told me that sometimes they shut down the cable car. He asked me to take the cable car slightly earlier so that it may not be shut down and i can still make it for the Paragliding Experience. This was my most memorable day of the year as I was able to finally cross the paragliding off my bucket list and have an amazing experience at Bana hills because of the great guide like Dang Cuong and agencies like Venus Travel that perceive and empathize with every tourist. I would recommend him and this travel agency to anybody and we need more guides like Cuong to give tourists an overall experience.

Very very good tour. My partner and I have toured Cambodia and all of southern Vietnam over the last month through tours and can comfortably say that this tour was the most professionally handled. John was an amazing guide who was informative and very approachable, and however the weather, made our experience on the Ba Na hills a fun and enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend!

Very well organised tour, we had considered going to the Ba Na Hills ourselves however were very glad we did the tour instead. Sue, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and as well as the very thorough and detailed tour of the bridge, the gardens and the french village, also pointed out many points of interest along the drive to and from, and also filled us in on many local customs and details of day to day life for Vietnamese people living in the area. Pick up and drop off at our hotel in Hoi An was also very timely and ran quite smoothly.
The site itself is quite interesting, the cable car ride to the top is breathtaking. Weather is obviously something that is luck of the draw, the mountain top is often shrouded in clouds and quite a bit cooler than in town, however we were lucky and did get some clearer moments while up there.
The included lunch is a massive buffet style with a lot of options that were quite tasty. The room was very very busy on the day we went so we ate a quick lunch and then found a quieter cafe in the village to have a coffee and relax a bit. Didn't try any of the rides at the theme park so can't comment on them, but it was lovely to wander around the village instead, there were many street performances going on in the time we were there.
Overall would highly recommend this tour if you want to spend a day in the Ba Na Hills, it is worth every cent!

This tour has not yet really begun and is already very unpleasant. The driver arrived late and then drove perilously to pick up the other passengers. We were crammed into a van that was not spacious at all. Not the tours fault but it would have been better if the other guests showered. When we arrived after a terrible drive with the guide yapping the entire time in poor English it was completely disorganized. Sooooo much wasted time with the guide trying to figure out what was going on and trying to sell ancillary tickets for other venues. And again guide says meet back here at 0925 but 10 minutes later we are just standing around waiting. Yet he demanded that we be punctual. It was raining, so not the guide's fault for the discomfort, and the sites have the potential to be amazing with a better guide and better weather. Just before lunch he pointed out where my restaurant was, down 3 floors (but actually it was 4). But I was not allowed to go to lunch until he showed all of us all the other options for those that did not pre-buy lunch. So another 15 to 20 minutes wasted in the rain. The lunch was mediocre. The food was probably tasty, but none of the hot food was hot. As we walked around the guide led us from site to site and not until the very end of the trip asked if anyone needed to use the restroom. A few people did and when 11 of the 12 people were ready he left. I stayed behind so the woman would not freak out. She appreciated that. The language skills of the group were not the best in English and understanding the guide was exacerbated by his poor grammar and pronunciation.

Our tour guide Mr Bean was merticulous and flexible in adjusting the itinerary to allow us a better time and comfort due to the rainy weather. He is knowledgeable and clearly explains about the history of Ba Na Hills and also keeps the mood up with his jokes. Although the weather was bad, we managed to have fun and the fog cleared up for a short while to get some nice pictures of the Golden Bridge. Buffet was awesome too, a wide variety and great tasting.

I don’t think this is for us. If you do go, I would recommend just going yourself and not with a tour.
Forgive me if this is obvious but we didn’t know beforehand - you arrive to the foot of Ba Na Hills to get the cable car up to the Golden Bridge (hand bridge). From there you can actually choose to leave and get the cable car back to where you start. Otherwise, you can get a second cable car up to the Sun World theme park.
(We had our entry fees included in our ticket price but I’m assuming doing it yourself, it would cost extra to go to the park).
We found the theme park to be quite poor. It’s a faux French town which is aesthetically beautiful but there isn’t much to do. Lots of pretty castles with nothing inside. We had a buffet lunch included in our ticket price but without the ticket, you’re adding at least another 500kVND to your day. To spend extra to go up there, pay for everything when you get in and waiting around for a tour group, we just didn’t find it worth it. It also added hours to our day and in the end we had only enjoyed seeing the bridge.
So in my opinion, for backpackers or anyone who may be short on time and money, I would recommend getting a Grab or a bud to the base of Ba Na Hills and paying for the 750kVND cable car to Golden Bridge (there’s a visitor centre at the base that your driver will know to go to).
And avoid the theme park..
Also, our tour guide Ksoa gave us very little information on Ba Na Hills, Golden Bridge and the park - we had to google everything. Instead we were just herded around from place to place. When he did speak to us he asked for tips every single time and even announced to the group what his average tips are so that we knew what to give him. Very awkward.

Booked this tour the day before. Transport arrived on time and with a clean modern vehicle. Mr Bean (our tour guide) welcomed us aboard. His energy and humour throughout the day made for a fun day out. On arrival at the attraction he sorted all the tickets etc and talked us through what to expect through the day. The cable car ride to the top was comfortable as only 10 people per car made viewing the surrounding areas easy for everyone. On arrival at the top walking around took many pictures. You have 3 hrs to do as you please and there is plenty to see and visit maybe one day is not long enough. Lunch was included in the price at the four seasons restaurant and it was a buffet style and plenty of choice. Some drinks are free but other are available from the trolley girl walking around the tables. Sometimes mother nature plays a part on the activities but take it on the chin. I would like to thank Mr Bean for his enthusiasm and knowledge answering any questions we had and a personal thanks for understanding my partners health limitations and helping her. ❤️😊😊 All in all a big thumbs up and if we return would book again. Thank you.

I looked into travelling independently to Sunworld / Golden Bridge / Ba Na Hills from Hoi An but it did appear to be quite complicated and I wasn't entirely sure it was on our to do list. However, we ended up with some time available in Hoi An and this small group trip appeared to be the easiest way of getting to Ba Na Hills. We actually got the brochure for this tour from our hotel and they booked it for us though we paid Venus Travel directly.
Our guide Hung picked the twelve of us up from our various hotels in Hoi An and we set off on the 1.5 hr trip to Ba Na Hills via Da Nang. We had a commentary on the various hills on the way. Hung was very knowledgeable about the procedure and let us know how best to approach our visit and explained the reasons why. We got on the cable cars which gave us great views up the hills and are an experience in themselves. At the top Hung took us first to the golden bridge and we could then tour independently as much of the gardens and temples in that section as we were interested in. Next we went to the included buffet lunch where Hung asked for food preferences and directed people to the sections that suited their tastes. The buffet had multiple serving areas and catered to a variety of dietary preferences.
After lunch we were able to split off and choose what aspects of the theme park we were most interested in. Some people chose to do the rides while we chose to go to the film shows and look at some of the live shows available. I did enjoy the tram ride that Hung suggested which went along the side of the mountain. We wandered around the French village and Beer Festival which was not as interesting as I hoped it would be. We did have a nice coffee and croissant. Around 3pm the fog started coming in. We left just before 4pm to make sure that we could get one of the cable cars down.
I think we were very lucky on our day. Not only did Hung's advice make sure we saw the attractions that interested us there was a lunar celebration in Vietnam and the whole park was less crowded than usual. We were able to get some good photos on the bridge and the restaurant wasn't as packed. Hung's advice about seeing the Golden Bridge early in case of rain or fog was spot on and I appreciated his selection of the best cable car line (there were multiple) to go on. I know some people would have preferred to stay to closing time but I think the queues on the cable cars would have been horrendous if everyone tried that!

This was one of the best experiences ive had in Vietnam. Our friendly tour guide Kevin was a sweetheart and took care of our every need. He checked up on the group often and even offered to take plenty of photos. This is something that you will regret not having seen while visiting this beautiful country. Dont be shy, give it a try. Ask for Kevin, and be treated like a King or Queen! Highly recommend trying the coaster ride for a small additional charge.

We had a great experience on this tour Mr. Bin was very charismatic patient informative and friendly. He made sure we avoided the lunch time crowd by booking us into and alternate restaurant we were able to get first dibs on all the freshly prepared food and was able to enjoy the atmosphere with our group. He made sure that everyone was thoroughly entertained throughout the tour and made sure we arrived and returned safely. I would highly recommend this package and Mr. Bin to anyone who is vacationing in Da Nang and Hoi An. We will definitely be looking him up again when we return to vietnam
