After pickup at your Hoi An hotel, your guide takes you on a bike ride into the countryside. Pass by vibrant green rice paddies on your way to meet a local farmer. In the middle of the rice paddy, share a cup of tea and hear stories from the farmer about daily life in rural Vietnam. Local Farmer provides farming clothes to wear during your hands-on experience in the rice field. Step into the muddy rice field as your guide explains the process of growing rice. Try your hand at farm-work by practicing with a water buffalo plow, and transplanting rice seedlings into the rice field. Try riding a water buffalo at a small pond, then take a break for a meal of crispy Rice pancakes with the local farmers at their house. After 4.5 hours, your tour ends with return to your hotel.
