We had a great time even in the rain. The information on farming was very informative. It was fun being in the rice fields and learning how to plant the rice. The time at their house cooking rice pancakes was a lot of fun. And the meal was an authentic local meal that tasted great. Mr Hoang was also very nice to help us get to do the bamboo boat rides.

We did the marble mountains and Son Tra Peninsula tour then booked another for the following day waking up early to see My Son temple before any crowds. Our tour guide, Susan, was very knowledgeable and friendly always offering to take photos of us in the best locations. The pace of the tour suited us as it was very hot and there was lots to see.i would highly recommend either of these tours.

Mr Hoang was the best guide. This tour was our favourite so far. Lots of information and lots of laughs. We learned all about farming rice, from working the water buffalo to polishing the rice. The basket boat was so much fun, music, water dancing and fishing. Highly recommend this activity if you are in Hoi An.

We had the most incredible time visiting the farm, planting veggies, cycling through town and then having a delicious lunch prepared by Mr. Hoang’s wife. Our kids got to make some appetizers with her and the meal was excellent. They learned how to harvest rice and the painstaking process it used to take. Excellent cultural experience!

Really great tour from start to finish! The My Son segment was fascinating and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and gave us great insights into the people and place. Also really enjoyed the variety of activities including the rice paper making and boat trip back.

Mr Hoang is a great guide who told us so much about his village and the rice farm. Had an excellent experience! The cooking class was amazing and the home cooked meal by his wife was very delicious. Had a great tour and would highly recommend!

This tour was booked by our agent. It was an Amazing experience. We started with visiting the rice farm, understood the farming process and rode on the buffalo. What fun. Then they took us to their home for an amazing farm to table experience where the kids helped cook the meal. Highly recommend this for couples and families with kids.

While it was a rainy day in Hoi A for our tour, it was still a memorable experience. In fact, it was even more of an adventure cycling through the streets of Hoi An and then into the surrounding countryside in the rain. We enjoyed learning about farming techniques and then had a fun basket boat ride. We ended at Mr Hoang’s house where he and his wife treated us to a wonderful traditional central Vietnamese lunch of rice milk pancakes, passion fruit chicken and steamed rice straight from their own garden. Great day with great hosts! We would all highly recommend.

This was the best day we had in Hoi An. Vegetable village was fun, the kids loved it, with the basket boat on the water was very nice. We learned a lot about the life on the countryside in Vietnam en learned how to cook springrolls with ricepaper. The buffola riding was not on the programm anymore but our guide made this possible.
