About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- StevenD2070 contributionsKhe SanhWas going to do the 5 day bike tour but weather did not allow me to do so. Trung suggested to do 3 days by car which we did, smart move,it rained the whole time. He picked me up in a brand new Toyota Fortuna,it was a very comfortable trip. We travelled the Ho Chi Minh trail to Khe Sanh, then to Hue and back to Da Nang. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone, a fantastic experience. Would have been better on a bike that's for sure,do it!Written 20 January 2023
- Fréderique K0 contributionsEasy rider tour from Hue to Hoi AnWe had a wonderful trip with our tourguide Le Trunk. He really made us feel comfortable from the beginning till the end. We even got to make some suggestions to go to, on top of what he planned for us. We made lots of photo stops at the most beautiful views. I recommend this trip to everyone who wants to see more of Vietnam than just the touristic stuff because this trip makes you truly feel like a local!Written 10 October 2019
- RachaelC19880 contributionsMemorable trip across the Hai Van PassThank you Cuong (Strongman woooo!!!) for a great trip across the Hai Van pass. Despite being nervous at the start on my first long motorbike journey you put me at ease really quickly and I really enjoyed the whole thing and felt very safe. The highlight was definitely the ’secret’ waterfall where I was the only person swimming! Also thank you for showing me the real side of Vietnam by taking me to an authentic coffee shop and restaurant. I also appreciated that you were well prepared for the heavy rain as we approached Hue! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a trip across the Hai Van pass.Written 4 September 2019
- alicecP5175MO0 contributionsHoi Van PassWe travelled with Mr Bi and Rot today on the Hoi van pass from Hoi an to Hue and it was excellent. I travelled on the back of Mr Bi and he was a very careful driver making me feel safe. The stops we had were very enjoyable and Mr Bi’s energy was catching and kept us entertained. Thank you so much to you both for a wonderful day :)Written 8 August 2019
- ShanePKMurphy0 contributionsThanks Tom for a great time!!!Had the best time on a three day tour of the Ho Chi Minh trail. Even visited Khe Sanh base on ANZAC day. Fantastic scenery and great roads with plenty of bends. A bucket list item ticked!!!Written 26 April 2019
- Iy Ryeong K0 contributionsWe had awesome time.We traveled with my parents and my kids. At first I worried my parents are too old to ride motorbike. But They really enjoyed. And satisfied. My kids also choose the best thing they did in Vietnam. I strongly recommend easy rider team.Thank you all super kind guys. 70대 부모님과 초등학생 저학년 아이들과 함께한 여행인데. 다들 베트남에서 한 활동중 최고로 뽑았습니다. 라이더 모두 친절하시고 즐거운시간이었습니다.Written 15 April 2019
- DebbieH36320 contributionsFour hour monkey mountain tripAmazing motorbike tour with Trung and friend (sorry not sure how to spell your name). Very exciting and so much fun off the beaten track around temples, Buddhas, towers, museums etc. Ended up eating at a brilliant local seafood seafood restaurant, us being the only westerners but so welcome. As a couple we would thoroughly recommend this trip. I was a little nervous at the beginning going through the busy streets of Da Nang but I soon relaxed into it and loved it. The only way to travel 🏍👍🇻🇳😎.Written 28 March 2019
- Shaylinmaci0 contributionsExceeds expectationsI booked the Easy Rider from Da Nang to Hue, and I frankly, I have nothing but good things to say. The route was stunning the whole way, and we went to areas that the tour buses don’t. For example, instead of going to Elephant Springs, we stopped by a small waterfall by Phù Lôc, where the water was crystal clear, the food was good, and the area was clean. It was fantastic! This area is highly recommended! Trung was incredibly kind, and he gave great insight into Vietnamese life in the area. We stopped in a number of different areas, and I felt entirely safe the entire journey. After being dropped off and checking in at my hostel, Trung, a colleague, and I went for coffee. I honestly can’t recommend them enough, and I’m planning to do a longer, second trip with Vietnam Easy Rider the next time I come to Vietnam. The entire day was fun, insightful, and memorable. Thank you so much for everything!!Written 16 March 2019
- 879joel0 contributionsAmazing Trung :)My friend and I are the first time here. We were struggled about whether go sightseeing by car or motorbike. I did not ride motorbike before and was afraid of taking my friend with me because of safety. Luckily I found Trung’s contact in Trip adviser and approached him for a day ride. It was a right decision and I was glad that I made it. Trung took my friend while I rode by myself. With Trung’s guidance and encourage, I managed the long ride. We went to Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. Trung was so nice and considerable during the whole journey. He took us to take photos at best spots and told us lots of story. The noodle he recommended was delicious. It was kind of adventure to me to ride motorbike for sightseeing. Really good memory. Thanks again Trung! You are amazing!!!Written 11 March 2019
- Brannon H0 contributionsLet Easy Rider to tour VietnamMy brother and I brought our dad back to see Vietnam during piece time after being in the Vietnam war. Trung personally took us on a wonder and custom guided tour. Trung was always so willing to do whatever it took to make sure we all had a pleasant and enjoyable time. We got to experience old hiking trails and base camps up close and personal and hear some "good" war stories. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience Vietnam on an intimate level.Written 15 February 2019
- Hellant0 contributionsBest guided bike tour everStarted in Da Nang to MySon heritage site, lunch at DaBang beach with epic view and fluffy sand. Then to Marble mountain (take the lift) and back to Hotel along Da Nang beach. Perfect weather for a ride through country side and rice paddies (Start of February). Fun guys with good English. Bring an old ABBA CD for Cuong. :)Written 2 February 2019
- looovesally0 contributionsThe perfect dayCoung was a great tour guide for the day! He showed me so many things and told me a ton of history about Vietnam along the way. I was nervous about the bike at first but he was a safe driver and made me feel comfortable. Overall one of the best days I had in Da Nang! Thank you Coung!Written 25 January 2019
- James W0 contributionsUnforgettable Trip with Perfect Weather and Tour GuideThis was my first time in Vietnam, and it's absolutely unforgettable because of Le. He's incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about all the surrounding areas (including a beautiful beachside lunch spot tucked away from the city), and ensured our safety and our fun throughout. 5/5. Couldn't be better.Written 7 January 2019
- brandonsconner0 contributionsRules but no rules! The two day motorcycle tour with Trung, our guide, was two of the best days of my life. It was like riding a motorcycle through the most magical surreal movie you’ve ever seen. It’s basically indescribable. You just have to do it. There were times it was so beautiful and unbelievable I got tears in my eyes while riding through the jungle. Leave any fear at home and get out in the world and ride the line! Rules, but no rules!Written 28 October 2018
- Ben R0 contributionsHai van Pass trip from Da NangToday we went with Vietnam Easy riders on a day trip from Da Nang up along the Hai Van Pass and to the lady buddha. Views were amazing! First time on a bike in a year but our guide Trung was very helpful in giving me a refresher lesson before we went. If you don't want to drive your own bike, you can sit on the back also. Felt very safe and was a good price. Would really recommend this company if you are a beginner driver or slightly cautious about bikes - well worth it for the view. All in all, an amazing day!!Written 5 September 2018

The tour operator wasn’t at the designated location for pick-up. We texted but didn’t receive any response. Long story short, we waited for 3.5 hours to be picked up at a different location than originally stated. I had a helmet that didn’t buckle. My driver didn’t speak English. It wasn’t a Harley -Davidson as advertised but an 85 Honda and street bike. Not a picnic but street food. I feel for whatever reason the tour guide just wasn’t on his game. He’s received all positive reviews. So maybe it was just a bad time. At the end of the day he did take us around and it was just ‘OK’ . I just couldn’t let go of having to wait for 3.5 hours.

Our friends recommended to book an Easy Rider tour with Mr. Trung when we told them that we would visit Vietnam in December/January. The first contact via e-mail was very good. Quick response and clear explanation.
After arriving in Hue, Mr. Trung and his friend picked us up from the airport at no extra charge. That night, we had (local) dinner and discussed the program for the coming days. We had planned a 3 day trip: Hue - Khe Sahn (including DMZ, Vinh Moc tunnels and Khe Sahn combat base), Khe Sahn - Prao (following Ho Chi Minh Trail) and Prao - Hoi An (including My Son). The days were better than expected, so we decided to take one extra day from Hoi An to Danang.
Mr. Trung is very polite, the drivers both drove very safely, Mr. Trungs English is at an more than acceptable level and they are very flexible. Highly recommended!

Annabelle and I had the best day zipping around on bikes through Danang with our great hosts. Our tour included real Vietnamese coffees, Monkey Mountain, American Bunkers, Lady Buddha and Marble Mountain. We were blown away by the beautiful scenery that we got from zipping along the coast and the mountain tops. Trung knew exactly where to stop for photos and took professional style photos for us on our phones. It was an exhilarating, fun way to spend a day here and really is a must on anyones itinerary. We are staying in Hoi An and pick up from our hotel was no issue. Beaut day! Loved it!!! Support these guys, they are awesome!!

Myself and my girlfriend made the trip with Mr Trung and his colleague, Mr Lab (apologies for the spelling!) both on the back of sturdy Honda motorbikes (not the whiney scooters you find everywhere in Vietnam). Although it was raining almost the entire time during our trip from Hué to Hoi An (we can't complain, it is rainy season) the experience was still an absolute blast. Mr Trung speaks very good English and will point out sights to you as you drive along. You stop at various places (a coffee shop, the top gear road on the mountain pass, the beach in Danang etc) which is nice as it breaks up the drive, and he even paid for our coffee twice at a couple of stops which was a nice gesture. He took us for one of the best lunches we have had in Vietnam at an unassuming local roadside cafe. It was like the normal Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) you find everywhere in Vietnam but tasted amazing and came with the most delicious spring rolls we have eaten so far in south east Asia.
The ride was a great experience and one of the best things we have done in Vietnam. Being on the motos gives you a different perspective of the country as you drive past and we always felt safe on the roads with Mr Trung and Mr Lab. Although we were soaked through by the end we are so glad we decided to do this trip. Well worth the money and a must do whilst in Vietnam. Mr Trung is a great guy! Highly recommend.
(P.S. If you're confused about the multitude of companies out there calling themselves 'easy riders' - I wouldn't be surprised... But we've heard the standard varies greatly depending on who your guide is. We would highly recommend Mr Trung. We booked our tour with him from Hué to Hoi through Sunny Fine Guesthouse in Hué).

We had our honeymoon in DA Nang, the most exciting thing is doing this tour with Trung, actually we did our research and contacted Trung about our preference, he customerised the tour for us, and "called to the God please no raining " , so even the weather report shows raining and windy, we still have a good weather, sunny day! the experience with riding the motorcycle through beachfront, city and mountain routine is unbelievable amazing, wordless! We're not able to swim in the waterfall for the weather reason, Trung took us to a local seafood resturant in the water, Trung borrowed a ledder so we can climbed down to the water and play, very interesting, I can feel fishes were kissing on my feet! The sea food is reasonable price and super fresh and tasty, we like the the feel during the tour, not rush, enjoy the moment. The most important is we feel very safe riding with Trung. We definitely will do more tour with him if we visit again!

I visited Danang and near the railway station two men offered me an easy rider tour (only true easyrider tour, they said). As their sales approach was really aggressive, price was quite high and their English wasnt good I opted not to buy this tour. But I liked the idea and few days later I found Trung (Vietnam Easyrider Travel) from the internet. I received answer to my e-mail quickly and Trung was really flexible to fulfill my wishes.
Next morning he arrived to my hotel and we started a one day trip to see mountains and the waterfall. We had problems after few kilometers because of flat tire. Solving problems is one of the greatest challenges of creating customer experience and Trung solved it really good – he found me a street cafe nearby, ordered some drinks and asked local people to take care of me (I was alone and had a lot of fun there). After about 30 minutes the tire was fixed and we continued our trip. Mountains were really beautiful with great views and Trung often stopped in best places so I could take pictures. Waterfall was crowded that day (however, water was good for swimming) and we spent more time in the seafood restaurant. Trung spoke very good English and had wide knowledge about lot of things – we talked about people, culture of different areas, economy, infrastructure, military, history, nature, food etc. Just pick your topic and you`ll get a lot of information (note: I did not ask about temples, statues etc because it`s not my cup of tea). It is really hard to decide if I liked more to enjoy the views while riding the motorbike or to talk with Trung to get worthy knowledge about my areas of interest. Combination of these was just perfect.
When we arrived back to Danang we stopped and Trung said that he`ll be back in two minutes. Later I found out that he went to buy Vietnamise best coffee and special cup to prepare it as he noticed that I really enjoy drinking coffee. And this coffee I got as gift from Trung was really good (he showed how to prepare it in a nice cafe).
Easyrider tour with Trung is highly recommended experience and Trung is a really nice guy. He also knows the art of creating customer experience with small things, from professional view it was also interesting for me. Only thing I regret is that I did not had more time.

We had a great daytrip to see a few sights just outside Danang. Trung did a fine job - he made sure as a 'medium' ability rider I got a nice but easy cruiser to ride, and my wife got an auto scooter. We travelled at a relaxed pace and never felt uncomfortable in the traffic. Sights were amazing, such as Marble mountains. Enjoyed a simple but tasty lunch and plenty of coffee stops along the way. Trung also put us in touch with a guy who could do us a much better taxi deal to our next hotel. Nice trip!
