        Wonderful day
We did a day trip which did all 25 rapids. Guides were excellent and we had a wonderful day. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Well…. maybe a helicopter to fly us out.

        Amazing family experience
Our family of four did the half day river rafting with Captain James, Soldier and the team. They are amazing, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our son of 12 years was allowed to join us, and they were there looking after him all the time. We stayed at Vic Falls but they arranged for a taxi to collect us at our lodge, and take us over to Livingstone. Mr T did a great job with the photos and video. Please support them - they are the only locally operated company.

Excellent White Water Rafting Adventure at Victoria Falls
We were fortunate enough to experience a half day rafting experience with Maano Adventures just before Christmas 2024, and were truly blown away by the experience. As we were first timers we decided to take on the second half of the rapids from 14 onwards and we're amazed to share in the competence and knowledge of the entire crew to make it that much more enjoyable for us. It was tough but thoroughly worth it in the end. Braving the waters of the mighty Zambezi River, and swimming and taking a dip where it was deemed safe to do so. Congratulations to Enoch, James and the entire crew for making this an experience to remember. Only areas for improvement include communication around the end of trip transportation which had broken down which led to an hour delay with no communication, also the quality and perhaps presentation of the meal which should really be relooked at. That said Maano Adventures are highly recommended and I would certainly consider them again in the future.

Super fun, enjoyable, worth for money, safe rafting.
Went with maano adventures for the zambian side half day rafting today. Absolutely out of expectation. The team was very professional (comparing to the rafting i have personally done in central america/ asia) they have a big team going with you, assisting you all the way and professional guidance to make sure everyone’s safe and having fun at the same time. And the price was very reasonable with all that we have got. Highly recommended. (I raft with andrew, he gave great command that just one of us fell. With abramham and sanditi(hope didnt spell wrong), we form a great fun team together today. Cant have a better ride😇

We did the half-day-tour. It was really great! Adrenalin was floating like the spray from the waterfall. Very professional.

Great guides and good fun on the might zambezi
Great guidance and experience. In the low seasons the first 10 rapids are still amazing. At rapid 6 we flipped and got stuck under the boat for some 10 seconds which felt long bus was okay. 6 hours of paddling and keeping your balance on the tube through the rapids followed by a hike up at the end of half hour is a great exercise. Swimming through the cat 1 and 2 rapids i great fun and cools you down nicely. The only negative is some discussion on the photo and video which is included in the price according to TripAdvisor and required additional payment which we didn’t do. We were told they will be sent in a few days but still waiting..

        Great experience
Great experience with this Zambian company The safety on board and with extra canoes was perfect and we never ever felt in trouble. James is an excellent captain, though we have no comparison as this was our first time. But great is was! James and his crew are extremely pleasant inclusive the younger trainees. A pleasure for sure to be with them all, with a shoutout to Soldier for safety and humor and camera man Brighton as well. What a team! Be sure to prepare adequately for a full day on the water. Enough SPF and sturdy shoes for the climb back up. Have a good breakfast before the start as well. Communication and photos afterwards all perfect so just go on a exciting trip! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic half day rafting with James and the team
Fantastic rafting trip with Maano, we had a great time (5 of us on one raft) with James captaining the boat superbly with Soldier in the safety boat. We never felt unsafe or in danger of being tipped over although in some cases it was 50-50, and it was full credit to the team. This was one of our best highlights of our trip to Vic Falls, you will never forget the adrenaline whilst rafting the rapids and experience swimming /floating down the cool waters of the Zambezi. We also did the Devil's pool and the helicopter but I found this experience more engaging and less touristy. We did the half day trip as I didnt see the option to book the full day on their website, otherwise i would have done that. The scenery is superb throughout. We bought the photos and videos to commemorate the trip. As there is a dedicated photographer/videographer canoeing alongside the raft, you can let them know whether you want to purchase the video/photos before they set off. There are many other rafting companies but they are probably the only locally owned rafting company, so its good to know that the money is going back entirely to the local community. Fair warning that the hike down the gorge to access the rafting point is fairly steep-there is a drop of 350-380 m or so and you have to hike back up after the rafting. I have experience trekking and do HIIT regularly so found it ok but the rest of the group (ranging from age 20s-40s) struggled at the ascent. Just do it, you wont regret it!

        Very nice rafting experience.
Very nice, safe and crazy rafting. Full day trip in November includes 25 rapids which can be managed with this experienced and very friendly local guides. A lot of fun while swimming during the trip. Be sure to apply several times sunscreen (twice is probably not enough). Thank you very much.

        1/2 day Zambezi rafting
We did the 1/2 day Zambezi white water rafting and it is one of the best things I have done in my 66 years alive. My wife and I were the only 2 customers but James and the crew were amazing and they looked after us like royalty. My wife was a little apprehensive due to having a rib injury but we did the class 4 rapids no worries. I jumped at the opportunity to dive overboard and float down in my life jacket for a while which I will never forget. The video we got, taken by one of the kayakers who accompanied us, is fantastic and a great way to relive the excitement. Lunch at the end was great and the truck drive home through the Zambian countryside was also a great experience. We could not recommend this tour highly enough, it was amazing, and for me was the highlight of my whole Africa trip.

        Best rafting in the world.
Had a fabulous day on the zambezi with captain James and the crew. Exciting and great fun. Picked up on time and complete explanation on health and safety. James talked through each rapid and historical places along the route. Up to grade 5 rapids which were fantastic. Can't praise Maano enough.

Crazy fun Zambezi River raft day
I had the craziest experience swimming under the falls as well as the full day rafting! There were many guides, and our guide was Andrew. He was very clear on the paths, safety and plan for the full day rafting trip. At no point did I feel mismanaged. All the guides were very accommodating and even slowed us down to let us watch a man catch a MASSIVE fish. They brought the group a river snack for energy and had water for the clients. Though I wish they had more for themselves as well. We had many periods of being allowed to swim in the river as we had the full day package, it was pretty hot but manageable with SO MANY RAPIDS it was insane. Yes you go for the water activity, but the scenery, kindness, laughter and life long memory you make enhance this into a lifetime highlight. You will not be disappointed by the rapids, the landscape or the crew in charge of your safety. All of it was too notch.

        The trip of a lifetime!
An excellent 4 day rafting experience with Captain James , Abraham,Allan and Sargent. The guys made this a truly wonderful and memorable trip that exceeded our expectations. The rapids were fantastic ( we managed not to flip the boat ) the scenery stunning, and the campsites perfect. We were treated like VIP’s the whole time, tents were erected, meals cooked and kit looked after. The trip was well paced with plenty of chill time as well as the rafting, much needed when you’re 60 + . This was something I dreamed of doing for many years and it couldn’t have gone better. We were very glad we chose this company. The icing on the cake was the wonderfully produced video that was sent to us a few days later. An amazing keepsake ! Thank you to everybody involved in making this happen .

We did our fair share of safaris, but this was fantastic! Maano Adventures picked us up at our hotel in Vic Falls at 6AM. The one-hour drive was comfortable, and we enjoyed the conversation with Enock and our driver, Webster. After crossing the border into Botswana, we were met by Maano Adventures’ safari partner. CK was our guide for the morning, and we thoroughly enjoyed his energetic personality and lively commentary!

We spent the morning driving in an open safari vehicle as a group of 7 people and started out with a very cute show by two badgers! We saw tons of elephants including some babies, giraffes, impalas, kudus, and lots more. CK was in constant communication with the other guides and after being notified rushed us over to a pack of 12+ lions feasting on a buffalo they had just hunted. The videos we got of the lions playing are incredible! We continued and saw some Cape buffalo, hippos and a loner lion that walked right next to the vehicle for several minutes.

For lunch we went to a stunning lodge for a top notch buffet. The seafood stew was delicious!

We spent the afternoon cruising the Chobe River with Captain Cherry and had a once in a lifetime experience watching a large herd of male elephants crossing the river! They put on a spectacular show bathing and swimming until you could only see the tip of their trunks above the water. We also saw various sizes of crocodiles and more hippos. Enock (Maano Adventures) accompanied us and made sure we were a very small group (5 people) for the best picture opportunities.

Drinks were provided for both morning and afternoon and we also took our own cooler with some adult beverages. Wear layers as mornings are cool but during the day it gets warm.

It was a long day, but our hearts were full, and we had over a thousand pictures and videos to treasure forever!

I can’t recommend Maano Adventures enough! They are a small locally owned company and from the first time I spoke to Enock while still back in the States the service was 5-star! We booked both the half day whitewater rafting and the Chobe day trip with Enock and both exceeded every possible expectation we had! We can’t wait until next time and will most definitely book with Maano Adventures again!

We did this one day tour and it was fantastic from start to finish. Chobe is a magical area full to the brim with wildlife. The day started with a taxi journey to the border from our hotel setting off around 8am where we met our local guide Phil. Phil was awesome. Getting over the Botswana border is straightforward enough. From here we travelled (just the three of us) in the open sided safari vehicle and it's not far to the entrance to the national park. On the way we stopped at a supermarket to add to the contents of our cool box.

Phil seemed to know everyone and another guide stopped to tell him about the location of a male lion so off we went. We arrived upon a scene with several other vehicles near this lion. At first Phil put us near the middle of the cars, and quickly some instinct caused him top reverse the vehicle to the back. At that moment the lion stood up and pranced right past us! Well done Phil!

Chobe is very full of wildlife, but there are also a lot of other safari vehicles. So it felt a bit like a circus at times. But the elephants were so massive in number we just had an amazing experience alongside them frolicking in the mud and the water. At one point Phil helped an Austrian couple get their vehicle unstuck from the sand. Cheers all round!

We also spotted a few giraffes and hippos as well as some beautiful birds. Phil knew about them all of course and answered all our questions.

After a couple of hours of driving around the park we were taken to lunch at a nearby lodge with a decent buffet of hot food and deserts.

for the afternoon we took a boat trip. We were united with a group of 6 others but with Phil again at the helm. Here were took a small motorboat along the watery border with Namibia stopping to see crocodiles, birds and spotting hippos. It was a beautiful scene with elephants dotting the landscape both near and far. This was also a two hour trip and very beautiful.

Then it was back to the border and the taxi laid on by Maano for our return to Livingstone. An absolutely unforgettable day. Bring your camera.

Great rafting tour on the Zambezi. We had booked half a day and will come back for the 2-day tour.

The guides are very experienced and have known the river for many years. Nevertheless, a ‘flip’ can occur (our second boat caught it, for example).

Two things were annoying: we booked a tour through GetYourGuide that starts at the Victoria Falls, but then we got a tour that started in Zambia. That was disappointing as our son had not seen Vic Falls and we already flew on the next Tg. Also, due to the unarranged start in Zambia we had to buy a new visa for re-entry to Zimbabwe 90$ for three people), if we had known this before, we would have chosen a cheap re-entry visa directly.

Nevertheless, I would book there again at any time

We went on the full day Chobe safari and river tour and loved it! The tour started with a 3+ hour safari into the wilds of Chobe National Park in Botswana. We saw lions from 7 feet away as well as hippos, giraffe, zebra, Cape buffalo, elephants, impala, kudu, water buck, fish eagles, a water monitor, and much more. After a buffet lunch, we went on a 3+ hour fast boat on the Chobe River, and saw a great number of hippos up close, including in the water, out of the water, and a baby only a few days old, Cape buffalo, crocs, etc.

What a well-run tour of a beautiful park!

After some back and forth emailing, we were able finalize logistics the day prior to our tour. Million picked us up on time and safely drove us to the border with Botswana. After a quick immigration stop, Joe then took us to Botswana immigration. This also went quick and from there we were on our jeep headed for Chobe. Kaseman was our tour guide all day and he was absolutely spectacular. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and took us on both the jeep and boat tours. He knew all the different mammals and birds on both tours.
