We had to rearrange our travel plans at short notice, but after a quick whatsapp call to Owen, that wasn't a problem. Within an hour, we were picked up by Minivan and taken to the village to meet the residents. It was a fascinating tour. The village and locals had great energy. Our tour guide (a resident herself) provided amazing insights, some of which humbled me, enabling me to understand how residents navigate many of the things that I take for granted. Through asking the right questions to the guide that escorted us, I was able to discover facts about how dwellings are constructed, to how the law, family, and traditions manifest within the community. We spoke about how medical issues are managed, and I heard some traditional solutions that we could definitely benefit from. We met villagers and were warmly greeted. They shared their culture with displays of traditional costume, makeup, music, and dance. We got to see artisans crafting their wares and, before we left the village, got to buy some gifts and artefacts from the manufacturers of the goods themselves. It was an amazing experience (organised at very short notice by Owen) that gave us the opportunity to sample Zambian life and culture. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Owen, for all of the help that you provided whilst we were in Livingstone (this was one of MANY activities that we organised with Owen!!!!) and also thank you to the residents of the village for allowing us to visit. We will never forget you.

Great service from Owens Taxi’s. We used them for our transfers from Victoria falls over to Livingstone and they were on time, explained what happens at the border, helped us get our stamps for crossing over the border and met the other driver on the Zambia side who helped move our luggage to their car. They were really responsive via WhatsApp which was very handy. The prices were really reasonable. We also used them for transfer to Livingstone and it was quick and easy. Great service. We requested a transfer for 4 people from Livingstone to Kasane. At the same agreed rate, at the border we found another car and driver waiting for us who also assisted us with the procedures and entry controls in Botswana. Everything perfect!

Not only did they collect us from Vic Falls airport and expertly navigate us through the border to our accommodation in Zambia over the next few days they took us back to the falls, to the Royal Livingstone for a sundowner and back to Vic Falls Airport. My friend and I did our airport transfers to/from our hotel in Livingstone, Zambia. This was recommended to us by the hotel concierge, but having just come from safari, the thought of holding a lion’s tail while walking behind them wasn’t appealing to my or my brother. Once we arrived, we didn’t want to do it as it seemed so undignified for the animals, but we were informed we had to do something (since we had committed) and instead decided to pet the lion cubs. Even that seemed a little “zoo-like” but since we had no choice but to do something, it was the least offensive thing we could think to do.

Although the experience was delightful to touch a lion but still felt a bit bad for the lions. They seemed scared and dull. I am not sure if this is a good way to keep wild animals. For taking videos and pictures was exciting but there was a guilty feeling to treat animals like that

Wow!! We were in awe with the magnitude of the falls and seeing them from the top! It’s breathtaking and actually mindblowing!! They have the most brilliant tour and seeing the falls from the top and sitting in them is just amazing!!! This is a must! It can be abit scary and we went early morning and the mist caused quite abit of rain so it was chilly, but they have rain coats. It’s amazing that they can serve you with such a delicious meal and warm you up with some coffee! Chef, guides and staff all so brilliant, helpful and friendly!!!!! They even made me a “hot water bottle” in a little bottle to warm my hands up as my circulation was bad!

I booked a transfer from Kasane airport to Livingstone airport, so including the border crossing. We had one driver on the Botswana side who passed us to a Sambian driver. He helped us with all the border formalities and dropped us off at the Livingstone airport. The communication with Owen was very good as well.
