After a tasty local lunch of houtou, a famous udon (flat noodle) soup with meat or veg, at Hoto Futo by Japanese studio Takeshi Hosaka Architects, we’ll continue the tour to Mount Fuji Ropeway. This will be the scenic highlight of your day, if not your time in Japan! The hanging bridge offers spectacular views of Mount Fuji on a clear day with an observation deck that stands at a dizzying 1,000 metres above sea level.

Stop At: Ide Sake Brewery, 8 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0301 Yamanashi Prefecture

For the final stop of the day, we’ll take you to Fuji Sake Brewery to try the national Japanese beverage. Not only will you sample different blends of sake, you’ll learn how it’s produced and explore the charming Japanese gardens surrounding the brewery. Cheers!
