Paid and Confirmed but no ticket received
Very very unset on this tickets purchased all the way came from Singapore and expected to go USJ. Unfortunately, we can't go in due to we never received the QR Code and the USJ staff unable to help us on this. We tried to contact the customer service. But no one getting back to us, and the information showed that we can't have any refund on this. It's a spam or?
Hopefully, TripAdvisor people look in to this.
I really hope that i can get my refund.
If you want to get into the park early, you have to arrive at least an hour early and stand in a very long queue.
Entering the park (bag search) was fairly fast
The park itself is nice but far to busy. The queues for most of the rides were 170 minutes long
You could not leave the park and return later which was annoying.
If you only have one day at the park I would advise getting a pass for as many rides as you can as we missed out on rides as the wait was more than 2 hours.

Huge place, worth finding your way here
7 floors of thermal baths, swimming pools, restaurant and hotel. Men and women are separated in the bath areas. The rest is general admission

With an extra day, unexpectedly we visited Osaka Aquarium, known as the largest aquarium in the world. Showing our passports verifying we were senior citizens afforded us the reduced ticket price of $20.00.
The aquarium took us through regions of the Pacific Ocean e.g., Gulf of the Pacific, Antartica, Monterey Bay, etc. Fifteen tanks are arranged such that visitors spiral downward from the 8th floor to the sea bottom. We saw otters, seals cavorting, penguins being fed, schools of fish, sting rays, sharks and employees in scuba gear cleaning the tank with what looked like toothbrushes and small vacuum cleaners. The aquarium is well designed to keep visitors moving along. There is a very large whale shark, which is touted as a highlight of the aquarium. This was a unique experience, as oridinarily we do not visit aquaria when traveling.
This is an excellent stop for families with children due to the variety of marine life and experiences available, e.g., a petting pond.
Amazing day trip - BUT DO NOT BOOK WITH TRIPADVISOR!
Really amazing attraction, but only worth it if you spend more on buying the express pass as we didn't have to queue!! We bought this on a separate site, Klook, and received the tickets immediately.
DO NOT buy your ticket from TripAdvisor. We were never sent the tickets after booking weeks in advance, and then the day before, still hadn't received them. Couldn't get in touch with the local operator, so pretty useless advice from TripAdvisor. We then called Viator via their international line, and eventually they managed to email us the tickets to use the very next day. Pretty stressful.
Use Klook instead - same price and you can purchase the express pass option together!
Too many people in narrow hallways
The facility was clean and the display was organised and interesting. Baby strollers should be banned as they clog up the hallways and the babies don’t have a clue what they are looking at.

Great place to feel like a kid again
The USJ is rather large as compared to one in Singapore.
Ease of entrance except long queue when the staff are checking your bags frisking for outside food or unlawful item.
Funny as the profusely apologised whenever they catch you with stuff you are not allowed to bring in (food etc).
The only drawback is, all the explanation and narrative by the staff are in Japanese where i have the faintest idea what it is all about. Nevertheless, i didnt stop me from enjoying the ride/s.
If you are smack during the school holidays, Autumn or Spring, get the express pass and the queue can be long, 1-1.5 hours and you will not be able to cover the ground.
A 2 day pass would be ideal if time is on your side.
Pass is pricey but worth it
Had pass for 4 rides. It’s takes away the pain of queuing for rides and then leaves time available to queue for others. Really cuts down wait time. Less than 10 minutes as opposed to 2 hours for some attractions on the day I visited
Need more clarity on the deliverables
Had to struggle to get our tickets and recieved just a day before the scdeduled trip to universal. It could be have been good experience had you sent the tickets within 24 hours of the booking. Which would have given good feeling about TripAdvisor. I will not and would not suggest anybody to go through Trip Advisor again. SORRY NOT HAPPY. No working no or contact information to speak to somebody or interact. Poor setup.
Never received tickets
We booked tickets through the link here with JTRweb travel. Never received them via email, I repeatedly check all mailboxes prior to visiting. Long story short the company are uncontactable and we had to pay for 2 more tickets on the day. Disgraceful and I am still trying to find the best avenue to get a full refund.

1 day visit universal studios
We were really excited for the harrypotter part of the park. It was even better than we had expected amazing atmosphere, rides and staff that participates in the zones roles.
We didnt do research about the hallowheen thing going on so that was a really good surprise. The japanese know how to celebrate that better than everyone else!
I booked our ticket two months in advance of our trip to Universal Studios for Wednesday 2nd October. Two days prior to the booked date, I received an email from TripAdvisor saying I would receive the required electronic tickets to access the park, within 24hrs of the booked date. However, it is now 2 days after the booked date and WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR TICKETS ☹️😡. We went to the park and contacted the Universal Studios Osaka Guest Helpdesk to possibly change dates or get a refund but they weren’t able to assist as they required the QR code of the actual ticket. We ended up paying for another set of tickets ($250nzd) at the park. This has been frustrating as it is unclear on how to contact anyone from TripAdvisor in regards to accessing/querying my tickets. I have emailed JTR web limited (tour operator) with our situation but have had no response.
Cool aquarium but very busy
On the day we went there it was waaaay too crowded with chinese tourists so i'm not sure if its always like this. The aquarium itself was quite nice! Massive tanks where you can easily see all the wonderful creatures. In the end you can even touch some stingrays and baby sharks.
Too busy and not much to do
It was super busy even though we went on a thursday. Most big rollercoaster had a 60 min minimum waiting time so i didn't bother with them. Some have single rider for 5 mins waiting time which was quite nice.
There were less things to do than i expected so the park could offer another area with attractions. All the food and drinks are quite overpriced and it was not even tasty. The staff however is really happy and friendly tho!
