About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- seanaL7170CB0 contributionsFirst time in Tokyo 10/10Our Tokyo guide Yoshii was absolutely spectacular. He immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our tour of the city. This being our first time in a new city with two children ages 6 and 10. He began with a very informative history of Japan and answered all of our silly questions. His knowledge of the city was impeccable. Navigating the city with him was a pleasure. Highly recommend, the entire day felt like traveling with a family member. We will always be grateful for the time we spent with him and enjoyed every moment.Written 24 March 2025
- YANIS_DG0 contributionsYuko:a highly extrovert Japanese guideWe had a walking tour in Hiroshima guided by Yuko. She is a very charming person, with profesional skils and human tuch. A swift guide able to connect with you in few minutes. Is the kind of guide that you consider -after a while-that you know eachother. She communicated im perfect English, with all of us (4) adults and seniors Thank you Yuko :=))Written 24 March 2025
- debrao6140 contributionsHiroshima museum , point ZeroYuki was Excellent and very patient as our immigration for disembarking was 2 hours after our meeting point. Still we saw the Museum and pat plus a shop I asked for and then she took us back to our boat. Would recommend her again.Written 24 March 2025
- Natalie B0 contributionsTour experience in HiroshimaWe had a wonderful tour with Kahori she was very patient and accommodating. It made the day so much easier with her knowledge and fast tracking through tourist lines. I would highly recommend Kahori as a guide :)Written 24 March 2025
- John H0 contributionsReally great!Had an awesome time exploring Tokyo. My guide Hiro was very friendly and informative. He took me to Senso-Ji and Meiji Jingu Shrine, and we had lunch at a local sushi spot near Tsukiji Market that was so delicious. He also gave me some very helpful info on how to navigate the train system in Tokyo. Overall an excellent experience and a great way to start my vacation in Tokyo.Written 24 March 2025

- Timothy T0 contributionsAn Engaging and Extensive Tour of Hiroshima and MiyajimaWe very much enjoyed our experience on this tour with our guide, Miyu. The first half of the tour (or maybe a little more) was exploring the island Miyajima, followed by coffee and lunch breaks, and ending in Hiroshima, visiting the Peace Memorial museum and some notable places around the area (Bomb Dome, various memorials, and more). We started at 10:30am and finished between 6 and 7pm, so it was basically an entire day. This all said, Miyu is open to crafting the tour however you’d like. Miyu was very friendly and knowledgeable. Being from Hiroshima originally, she knows a lot about the history of the city and what it has to offer in terms of food and culture in addition to her extensive knowledge of WWII and what Hiroshima went through during that time. She was very open to answering questions and engaging in conversation. Given it’s a private tour, there’s lots of room to chat with her, which may be different from a group tour which is often much more listening rather than conversing. We would definitely recommend you use her for this tour or others!Written 24 March 2025
- Jet8153260 contributionsGreat Accessible tour!Lily was an amazing guide, with excellent English to make up for our extremely limited Japanese. Lily planned out an accessible tour for us. We started out by picking up a wheelchair at the Kyobashi station and then using taxi’s and train stations (with elevators and ramps pre-planned out by Lily). We visited Ueno Gardena for the Cherry Blossoms, Hanaka Ginza, and Shibuya. Thank you so much Lily!Written 24 March 2025
- Erin V0 contributionsFantastic tourTakako was a fantastic guide! She took us to several wonderful places based on our preferences but also suggested a few things she thought we would enjoy and she was right. She showed us how to get around on the subway and took us to a little gem for lunch for shabu shabu. She is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan and we were so thrilled to learn from herWritten 24 March 2025

- leilabU2194KO0 contributionsAuthentic Cultural & Historical Experience with Fun.We had an amazing historical tour with our guide, Lily. She tailored the itinerary perfectly to our interests and even suggested a wonderful hidden gem—an authentic area filled with traditional shops and restaurants. It was a fantastic experience, as it wasn’t crowded with tourists, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the local culture. Lily is not only professional and knowledgeable but also fun and kind, making the tour both engaging and enjoyable. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a unique and personalized experience!Written 24 March 2025
- Sally K0 contributionsBest tour ever! Andy picked us up from our hotel and took us back to our hotel. We are both active 80 years young.Andy picked us up from the hotel and took us on a private tour at the best price ever. We are both 80 years active. He talked us through tour options and we came up with our plan. Andy picked us up at our hotel and delivered us back. He filled us in with Japanese culture, historic information, and food (lunch was delicious and we invited him to join us). We took the trains and buses, mixed with the locals (much better than a car tour). We now have a new friend in Andy.Written 24 March 2025

We had a fabulous tour with Mari who had contacted us in advance and created an itinerary based on our interests. We had mentioned that we were interested in architecture and art and so she not only took us to certain structures designed by well known japanese architects, but also set up a private meeting with an owner of a Cafe where several famous Japanese artists used to meet and where some of their creations still remain.
She organized everything in advance so we were able to pack in alot in 1 day.. such as pre-booking a boat trip for us, booking the tea room at Ritsurin gardens and having taxis waiting for us when needed. (It should be noted that we ran into other people from the cruise we were on who were unable to book the boat ride or the tea room because the wait was very long for those that did not have reservations. )
In addition Mari was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions
We all think the highlight was the Ritsurin garden and highly recommend spending time there, taking the boat ride and tea at the tea house.

My trip was with Mari-san! She was an absolutely excellent tour guide. She helped me get around Megijima Island very easily as well as showed me Ritsurin Garden with an expert's eye. She was also helpful in coaching me with my Japanese, which I have been trying very hard to learn. She has a big network of contacts for fun touristy stuff to do as well, so if you're going to Takamatsu, she's the one to hire!

Thank you so much for your review. I’m so grateful to know you enjoyed Megijima, especially Sinro Otake’s artwork and Ritsurin Garden. I was very excited to see you were interviewed by several media outlets such as NHK or so force and enjoy taking with them. You were like a Hollywood star! I hope that you will come back to Kagawa with your girlfriend. Please say hello to her and her beautiful dog!
