Itinerary
- 11430hrs depart from the city hotel and the journey takes approximately 2 hours drive to the Southern part of Kota Kinabalu. Enjoy the scenic view as you pass through paddy fields, oil palm plantation and native houses among others. Upon arrival, light refreshment (local tea / coffee served with local cakes) is served in the typical village house. With the bizarre-looking proboscis monkeys gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the Orang Utan, the Klias Wetland with its large proboscis population is fast becoming the latest ecotourism destination in Sabah. These tree-dwelling animals normally hunt for food in the evenings so many boat cruises depart the Kota Klias jetty at around 1600hrs. Other riverside residents that may be spotted are macaques, crocodiles, monitor lizards, tree snakes and birds such as the eagle. Back on the jetty enjoy a natural light show when thousands of fireflies put on a glowing performance for your benefit. A sumptuous kampong styled dinner is served. After dinner, return to Kota Kinabalu.

- andreaseZ7534XC0 contributionsMixed feelingsIt was not a very pleasant experience. If someone asks me about it I can only say that we just went to the different stops. However, they did not stop at the last one the Petronas Towers and when i asked about it since there was a photograph (indicating a photostop) mark above the stop on the brochure they said it was a mistake... The buses were at a bad condition with damaged roofs from rain, damaged outside and at moments felt more like a ship. Also the speakers were outside and since we were inside we couldn't understand a word of what the guide was saying and overall the acoustic was bad anyway (we took the morning bus also and sat outside). Furthermore, they advertise 2 hours of sightseeing, but it is more like 30 minutes sightseeing and 1 and half hours in traffic. Lastly on their poster it says river of life...wait until you see the rivers at day time - not really their fault ... But, hey, there were some very nice buildings to see!! Kuala Lumbur is nice to visit in order to buy some products at better prices and stay for some days since its quite cheap and the hotels have amazing facilities !!Written 10 August 2024
- Noahnder0 contributionsMore a taxi than a tourThe tour was as advertised - a drop off service with little or no information. The car was clean, but the windows were small and so deeply tinted that it looked like there were no lights in the city. The driver, Harry, was a genius at maneuvering the vehicle into easy for us access spots, but he was tired (told us repeatedly - at 9:30 pm - that had been driving since 7 am) and had totally had it with all the incompetent drivers. He was frighteningly aggressive with both his horn and his accelerator. BTW he was about 20 minutes late because he went to the wrong hotel to pick us up and found it more convenient to drop us across from our hotel rather than at it at the tour's end.Written 8 August 2024
- mohammadiV4300BD0 contributionsMy bad experience with this travel companyDisinformed about pick up point. The website gives option for pick at KUL airport, but staff said only one meeting point, which is 1 hour from aiport. Ended cancle my booking, without getting refund.Written 27 July 2024
- Trip1785890 contributionsSuch a shameFirst thing the tour was delayed 20 minutes as the driver was given the wrong hotel address, then unfortunately we were sat in heavy traffic until we reached Chinatown so 45 minutes until our first visit. After this it seemed all rushed and inconvenient, however the driver was very pleasant and we had some good discussions regarding the Malaysian history. We would not book this tour again although we were looking forward to it, such a shame 😕Written 25 July 2024
- Tourist503889131260 contributionsA Bit DisappointingQuite disappointed that there were so very few fireflies - perhaps no more than a dozen. Not sure if it was due to the time of the year, but I really expected to see a whole lot more! The actual trip out from Kuala Lumpur was great - the driver was very knowledgeable, and made several interesting stops on the way. The "seafood" dinner was just an average asian dinner - a chicken dish, vegetable dish, two seafood (a prawn & an octopus) dishes and a fried rice - for the 5 of us at our table.Written 23 July 2024
- richbinns0 contributionsFantastic tour, thank you FauziFantastic tour from start to finish. Fauzi was amazing, great communication, smooth pick up and very knowledgeable about his country and KL. Gave us plenty of time to see the sights, was amazing with his creative parking skills! A real highlight so far.Written 8 July 2024
- Rkaps200 contributionsMost Horrible Buffet, Zero Customer Service: ABSOLUTE SCAMOne of the popular tourist places in Malaysia, the KL Towers, and the famous revolving restaurant on top of it. We booked a high tea for our family after reviewing their menu online and after speaking to them at least 3 times to confirm if some veg options are available. The website shows many veg options such as a live pasta and pizza station for various veg options, at least 3-4 types of potato fries, fritters, etc, many types of breads, desserts, salads, and a few veg snacks too. The website says in so many words that to request for more veg options, you can call a couple of days in advance and request the chef, which we did. However, on reaching there, we were appalled by a so-called world-class experience, which was nowhere even a decent restaurant both in terms of food or customer service. Hi-tea timings are 3.30 to 5.30 and we reached at 4 pm and there was NOTHING VEG. Only one pizza which hardly had any topping and that too came after multiple escalations and complaints. There were NO veg snacks, the desserts and food options were basically left-overs from their lunch buffet as those kind of items are never a part of a hi-tea buffet. One of the chef having a meeting with some important stakeholders was the MOST RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL person ever. On asking him why there are no veg options even after calling them, and I mentioned the lady I spoke with. Instead of being helpful, he started being rude saying he will take action against the lady who promised that...in fact he should take action on their website too as it also mentions veg options :) LOL. All in all, one of the WORST experiences we've ever had in any country visited so far. At 5pm, they started replenishing the buffet with same items for dinner :) LOL...So, you don't know how stale is the food and there doesn't seem to be a change in the menu and it DOESNT ALIGN WITH THE WEBSITE. ABSOLUTE SCAM for MYR 90+ per person. Please save yourself the horror and look for other top-storey restaurants and bars in KL. There are many by the way that will also treat you well along with serving good food.Written 29 June 2024
- sotir19780 contributionsNice guide but incorrect tour descriptionThe guide was a nice local, with good knowledge of KLs history, geography and economy. We had good conversations over the 2.5hrs with him. We are rating the tour only 3 stars as the description is not accurate, from duration, to number of stops, to inclusions. And an important feedback we gave the guide and the booking company, Do Not Take photos of your customers in future! Apparently the guide MUST take photo from the customers at each stop in order to prove to the booking company that he took the customers en route. We did ask the guide to ensure our photos are not distributed anywhere, and must not be used for any marketing purposes.Written 13 June 2024
- jamesaG2321KH0 contributionskl at nightExcellent tour, the guide asked what attraction I have already seen to make sure he wasn't taking me to the same Spots again, his knowledge on the history of the city was amazing, and he was very friendlyWritten 6 June 2024
- O3220EXmargaretc0 contributionsWouldn’t recommendIt was more of a drop off service than a tour. I was dropped off at the entrance of several places & was told to come back in a half hour. I wondered around Chinatown - after being told it was safe - although I saw someone get assaulted in public with no police. Same with the temple .. “go around take pictures and come back and find me when you are done. “ I should have just got a cab.Written 23 May 2024
- marlop8550 contributionsPerfect for a quick overview of the city at nightGreat tour with some highlights of the city, especially the night market and the photo opportunities at Pusat Bandaraya. We also took the chance to have a quick dinner at a nice restaurant while the driver waited for us.Written 26 March 2024
- Trip137260578330 contributionsKL by nightGreat way to see a lot done in short time. Al was a great guide. Saw more of KL in 3hrs than I could have on my own, sights, food and good company.Written 25 March 2024
- Od10 contributionsPassable. It is definitely worth seeing KL at night. We particularly enjoyed the colourful fountains at the Pretonus Towers. Our driver was a nice man and a good driver, but I would not say a good tour guide. Information and English was sometimes limited. We also totally missed stopping at China Town. I should have checked the itinerary before we left! Perhaps he wanted to get back to his newborn baby? The car was also small with limited vision. I guess you get what you pay for, so okay value, but it may have been worth getting our lovely airport taxi driver to take us instead?Written 14 March 2024
- JasonT6020 contributionsScenic paddy field, yummy seafood n cottage industryA regional area with lots to offer. Scenic padi field and opportunity to visit a paddy mill. Plenty of yummy and affordable seafood restaurants. Do visit the wet market, plenty of fresh fruits and things to buy. Don't forget to buy back some fresh seafood - superfresh and cheap. They packed it very well and provided us with shaved ice. Stop by the beach to enjoy the breeze and enjoy the swing (not perfect but bolehlah). Pop by Ah Ma cottage shop n enjoy some kueh kapit and baulu. Enjoy some great memories of the past. If u passed 50's 🙂Written 11 March 2024
