It was great!! Staff and our instructor Arjay was very professional! We did the open water course with 4 dives in open water. Took 2 days!

I've never tried scuba diving before but always had the longing and finally I took the decision to realise it. After doing research my decision fell on Calypso Diving School and I couldn't have been more pleased. My main worry was to rush through training and not remembering how to handle a certain situation in case of emergency. Needless to say this fear never materialised. My instructor was called Paulo and he was very thorough and made sure I knew each thing fully before moving to the next. At the open ocean trials he was very patient and made an effort making it a memorable time. We went to different dive spots and I saw everything from turtles to eels. In summary - I can't wait to go back and get more dives under my belt and I will definitely do so through Calypso.

I always wanted to learn how to dive cause the underwater world is just so amazing and it’s great to discover more and more from it ! I had the best time learning and exploring underwater with my great instructor! Highly recommend!

The Calipso diving center was the perfect entry into the diving world for us. We started with scuba diving and then opted for the Open Water license. Our teacher Otaner taught us the contents in a targeted but also with fun, he was also able to overcome language barriers on our side and teach us everything. He is a caring trainer where you can take the time you need, and also mentally support and build yourself up. We are very happy to have made our diving license in this special place. I recently completed my Open Water diving certification with Calypso Dive Center in Boracay on April 27th and 28th, 2023. My instructor, Renato, made me feel comfortable and provided thorough explanations during the training sessions held in the pool. On the first day of diving, we explored two different sites, Sinagpa Reef and Angol Point, where I was fortunate to see three turtles and approach a fishing net with tunas. We were able to see many fish that can be found in the sea of Asia. I enjoyed these dives tremendously. The second day of diving was a true test of the skills I learned from Renato as we dove at the challenging spots of Crocodile Island and Lobster Rock. It was a fantastic experience, and I was grateful for Renato's expert guidance. I want to thank the entire team at Calypso Dive Center for their professionalism and kindness during my stay. In particular, I want to express my gratitude to Chassi, the Dive Master, who played a significant role in making my diving experience unforgettable. I am already looking forward to returning to Calypso Dive Center in early August to complete my Advanced certification. Thank you again for an incredible experience! Thomas Stassen

When diving in Boracay, this is the place to go. Ask for Chassy to be your divemaster. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She took care of us like I have never experienced anywhere. I’m a PADI DM for over 30 yrs. and my dive buddy also with many years of experience. I will definitely go back and dive with Chassy.

Amazing experience. Didn't dive for years. My instructor Renato gave me a refresher and got me started on my certification. I had some difficulties and Renato was super patient and worked with me until the end. The sites we went to were incredible. The boat crew was helpful in every step of the way. Safety and proper instruction always too priority and got my advanced certification in 2 days. If you're looking to dive in Boracay, this place won't let you down.

We recently completed our Advanced Open Water certification, and it was an incredible experience. Harry , our instructor, was highly knowledgeable, friendly, kind, trustworthy and patient, and he made sure that we were well prepared & stress free for each dive. It has been more than a year since my last dive, so I was a little anxious but excited to do my advanced open water. Harry adjusted the planning of each dive in such way that I would gain confidence, be relax and enjoy it! We (husband & I) have our advanced open water and ready to continue exploring the life under the sea! Bedankt!!! Muchas gracias!!! Thank you Harry!!! The dive sites were absolutely amazing, and we saw some truly incredible marine life. Highly recommend it!

Due to typhoon Paeng I wasn’t able to finish my full Open water diver course in one time but kept in touch with one of the dive instructors, Renato, to plan a new date to finish the course. The way he trained made me feel very safe and confident about my newly learned skills! Definitely recommend this dive school, especially Renato! Will definitely be coming back here..

I did my advanced open water here. I had Renato as my instructor and I really recommend him and the dive center. If you’re going to Boracay and would like to dive this is definitely the dive center to visit.

I had such a good time in the open water certification that I went immediately to do the advanced open water course! Henry was the most knowledgeable and friendly instructor and he took some amazing photos of our dives. The entire crew of the boat was super helpful and inviting.
