The lounge offers no healthy food options. For salads, the only choice is cucumbers. For fruits, only apples and oranges are available—no bananas. There are no protein options at all. The plates are made of cardboard, and while they provide ceramic bowls, there are no ceramic plates. Crisps are hidden away, served in very small quantities, with tiny bowls placed next to them to encourage minimal portions. Being in Saudi Arabia, I had high expectations for a magical, "wow" experience. However, I was thoroughly disappointed by the basic and limited options available here. For this level of quality, it’s much better to head downstairs to Jones the Grocer for a proper meal, complete with a decent salad and protein options.

Not a lounge, really. Accessed on BA Silver. In fact probably the laughably worst, uncomfortable, overcrowded lounge i've ever been in. More like a tired motorway rest stop several hours after the cleaning staff went on strike during rush hour, with British 1970's state school food. My recommendation is to avoid it at all costs.

I recently had a 3-hour transit at Riyadh Airport, and the experience was quite disappointing. Upon landing, security directed us into a different lane for no clear reason, which caused a delay of about 20 minutes. To make matters worse, I had a senior citizen with me who was made to stand due to this unnecessary delay. When I approached one of the security staff to ask for guidance, the instructions were confusing, with some telling us to go upstairs, while others said to go downstairs. This mixed information caused further frustration. To add to the confusion, when we checked the flight board, our flight wasn’t listed. We decided to wait, hoping it would show up later, but this led to more waiting time. The food options were very limited and extremely overpriced. While we didn’t mind paying for food, we felt that the offerings weren’t worth the price, which gave the impression that the airport was taking advantage of travelers' hunger. Finally, after waiting for two hours, the flight was listed, but the boarding process was a disaster. The gates were clogged with people, and they called multiple flights to board at the same time, causing a massive crowd. This led to further chaos and mismanagement. This review is specific to Terminal 3, and I can’t speak for other terminals, but based on my experience, Terminal 3 was small, overcrowded, and poorly managed. I hope the airport authorities address these issues for smoother future transits.

A supposedly international city airport, and in the huge transit area the managers don't even manage to install a few water fountains for cool refreshing water, for tired and thirsty travellers, especially those with children. What an appalling omission. It is a shame really, as in most other respects, the airport is very pleasant.

The lounge air conditioner was not working to start with. Therefore it was a very uncomfortable stay. The carpets were dirty and stained along with the ceiling of the lounge. I feel that I need a hot shower to cleanse myself from the dirty stinking experience.

The worst experience ever in king khaled international airport,they treated my family there like animals only because they are American Egyptian but they speak English and not Arabic and because my brother asked them to stop pushing his kids and to stop touching them. From that point on is when the drama started, the worst things that you can imagine people can do,and that only happened because he asked them not to touch his kids, and just because of this they responded with canceling their entire flight and making them sleep on the airport’s floor for four days without food or anything to cover the kids with in that time. They called the medical care twice for my niece (11 years old ) because she has to keep her special syringes during the trip in the ice and they didn’t provide them with any ice. All the kids were in very bad condition and they kept crying all the time without any help and my sister in law could not breathe and my brother fell to the floor, and his blood pressure was very high. In the mean time we tried to contact the people in charge of king khaled airport to ask them to help our family because they were almost dying. Four days calling and asking for help but no help ,no body wants to help them. In that airport you can hear only lying, lying and lying, everybody promised you for help and everything will be done and after that you’ll never see them again.Very bad experience

I have read so much about the sleeping pods in this airport. However the pods are supposedly located in the domestic terminal. So in order to go there, you will have to do immigration just to get there. Bad planning. There’s no hotel inside the airport and you can’t access the lounges for more than four hours before your departure. I had a layover for 10.5 hours and it was horrible to pass the time.

Beyond Awful This is like a dirty , badly stocked old motorway cafe. The loos are filthy. The food awful. Chairs worn and grubby. Most of the charging points do not work. I would love to know how to avoid Emirates and BA business / gold customers come here. What on earth are they thinking.

This Longue does not existe at all. This longue at the the Terminal one is not accessible as the this terminal is under revonation.

The longue at terminal one of the airport was closed and was not accessible since several weeks and we could not make use of it. We had a horrible night at the airport on 29 th December 2022. Therefore, I request you to reimburse me the amount that I paid. My booking reference is: BR-962424382

This is one of the worst lounge you can imagine . If I knew Saudi’s Airline will stuck me on this lounge, would have never buy business class tickets of SA. They sell passes like crazy and it is over crowded. Male has one westerner and one eastern style toilet. There was no toilet see and it’s filthy smelling toilets. On my way back there was even worse situation and I have to spend 8 hours with family. When I complained to staff, these women were rude, they called Police , of course I stood up and they left telling me I can write to management directly but there is nothing they can do about toilet. I have to use passengers public bathroom. I would say stay away as much as possible

Useless -- Do not pay in advance as you probably can't access it. Deceptive information on website with lots of fine print. Website says lounge can be accessed from international flights but flying from Jordan via Riyadh it could not be accessed. I contacted the lounge right away -- they requested additional information over a period of 2 days and then used the fine print on "no shows" to deny a refund. Other airport lounge (which was crowded and unpleasant) declined to honor paid reservation at this one -- so first land and look for the lounge you can actually get to.

I had a layover of more than 10 hours at RUH and I had booked the Plaza Premium Lounge in terminal 1 for myself and my wife for 480 SAR. On arriving at the airport I realised that Terminal 1 is closed and there is no way to go there. There is only 1 lounge active in the airport and that is Hayyak Lounge in terminal 3 but they didn't let us in with this booking. There is no way to contact them. The phone number in the booking document and the number available in the website does not exist. I writing this review sitting on the chair in front of the gate. Have to wait here for 10 more hours!!!

Really rather tired and not what I would describe as ‘’Premium”. Not enough seating for the numbers using it is a serious issue and getting access to chargers etc not easy.

Very usefull lounge for passengers travelling long-haul flights who are looking for quiet. Waiters were not proffesional at all unless you inquire them. Even when lounge was not crowded.
