About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Global824990 contributionsDisappointing experienceWe are a couple with a young son who took the tour last week. Our guide was Crystal. At the start of the trip which was on time, we were already told by her that of the 2 scheduled places, we only have time for one. So we trusted her and decided to spend all our time in the terracotta warrior museum. During the tour, we found that the time spent were not very substantial in that she did not provide a lot of explanations after Pit No. 1 (especially when we compared her to other tour guides who were sharing a lot more information to their tour groups). Moreover, other groups were provided with hearing devices because the place was crowded and noisy, but we had none. However, she did help us to take a lot of pictures and remained friendly throughout the outing. Nonetheless, the thing that upset us most is that at the start of the trip in the car, she already started to share a “touching” story about Mr. Yang and suggested we visit him for a picture. So, after we finished the terracotta museum, when we wanted to visit a gift shop, she stopped us and quickly herded us to Mr. Yang whom we later found out, was working in a gift shop! At the shop, we took pictures with Mr. Yang but also felt pressured to buy a rather expensive book and other gifts from the shop. By this time, we also realised that we had wasted quite a lot of time at the terracotta museum and if we had not visited Mr. Yang, we would have been able to visit the second site which was part of the itinerary. Due to this experience, we felt very disappointed with her service and did not enjoy the tour especially since we made a special trip to Xi’an just for this tour. It’s totally not worth it.Written 10 December 2024
- jonathangH3931MY0 contributionsTerracotta Warriors Solo TripPickup was smooth and flawless from the hotel to the attraction. Crystal and I had a good conversation about chinese medicine and she gave me tips on how to speak Mandarin. The tour was a lot of fun and she answered all of the questions I had. She also held onto my bag so I could take nice photos. The food we had after was also very nice. I would definitely recommend her to others!Written 5 December 2024

- glamstae0 contributionsDumplings and showThe show was really great, colourful and interesting and there was an English story to follow along so you could understand what was happening. The dumpling dinner was also quite good, the dumplings look small but are very filling and presented beautifully! Really nice experience that I booked for my parents and they both loved itWritten 10 November 2024

- MCF_Boston0 contributionsAmazing time on the mountainIt was a rainy day but that worked out perfectly as it made the mountain less crowded with no wait for the bus, cable car or paths on top. We were fortunate that the weather cleared when we got to the top. Betty- our guide- was great and very informative including dinner recommendations. She also stayed with my mom (77 but in very good shape) while I went off to climb towards the middle peak once we reached the top of north peak. There we were greeted with stunning, majestic views surrounded by melodious calls from other visitors. Magical! It is understandable why this place is so important in China. Even if it were crowded it would be worth the trip. Just an incredible and special landscape. Just the cable car ride itself was thrilling. Being picked up and dropped off was a true luxury as well. Our driver (Zhang) was excellent especially as it was rainy and cloudy with heavy traffic on the drive out. He even played Chinese music for us at our request on the trip back. The tour operator (Jeff Ning) also checked in on us since it was bad weather, so the service was excellent by every measure.Written 30 October 2024

- WanderlustBlondee0 contributionsImpressive Experience & Amazing Tour GuideOur guide Crystal and driver Leo were friendly, informative and helpful. Crystal called us as soon as we arrived to our hotel to recommend we visit earlier in the morning due to it being super busy for the public holiday. We paid an extra $100RMB ($50ea) for headsets once we were at the site museum so we could hear her whilst walking around. We found her to be very professional and gave great recommendations of what else we could do in Xi’an. 10/10- wish we had her as our tour guide for everything!Written 2 October 2024
