Kazu-san was a wonderful source of historical and cultural knowledge! When he found out we only had one day in Kyoto, he went over time to ensure that we got to all the places we wanted to see. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an educational, fun, and efficient way to see Kyoto!

Masa-San was amazing and had the best recommendations of where to eat and what might possible as far as what we wanted. My mother had wanted to see some winter flowers which, unfortunately, were not as abundant in January. But Masa-san was able to guide us to some wonderful alternatives with amazing views. He also knew the train system inside and out so it was easy to get to everywhere with a minimum amount of confusion!

This is my first time in Japan. I only have one full day here, so I booked this trip to make good use of my time. And I spent a wonderful day with my tour guide Shuji. He handpicked the best itinerary to fit my interests and my schedule. I heard a lot of interesting stories and learned so much about Japanese culture and history. He was also nice enough to accompany me back to my hotel at the end of the tour. The tour exceeded my expectation, highly recommended, especially if you only stay a short time.

If you are looking for a guide to help you navigate Tokyo and Yokahama, Japan, look no further. You will not find a better guide than Seizo Kamiuto. We booked Seizo about two months before our trip. We corresponded back and forth about what we wanted to see. He offered us suggestions, and after we had reached an agreement, he met us upon our arrival at the cruise port of Yokohama and accompanied us by train to Tokyo. He was always punctual and dependable. He even took us back to the ship in Yokohama both nights that we were there. He was flawless in his ability to guide us through the east side and west side sights of the city on successive days. He is very knowledgable about Japan’s history, and his English is very good. He is also smart, savvy and experienced. He was able to give us the background of whatever we were seeing. He was incredibly helpful with the subway transportation system, which allowed us to navigate all its complexities without standing in lines or needing to study maps, etc. We whizzed through. The last thing we wanted to be doing was to drop time trying to find the right train or connecting train in our limited time there. Seizo was right there with us every step of the way. The full-day itineraries he carefully chose of various sights, gardens and museums were wonderful. If we wanted to do something slightly different he would present us with options of how to do those things instead of or in addition to what he had set. Seizo was helpful in so many ways on our two day stay. It would have been impossible to visit the number of excellent sights that we saw with a less experienced guide. He was sensitive to our needs and wishes. He provided historical contexts to what we were experiencing, and he shared with us the appropriate customs of his country, i.e., while visiting temples, shrines, and classic Japanese tea houses. Experiencing the culture and beauty of Tokyo was so easy, rewarding and easy with Seizo. We highly recommend him!

Our guide Kaeko Tanigawa was FABULOUS! We had a most interesting day exploring temples and shrines while learning history, religion and culture. It was my son‘s birthday the day we took the tour, and Kaeko planned a fantastic lunch for us right in the heart of Kiyomizu. This day was very memorable. I would highly recommend it.

Yoshi did a wonderful job during our two days of touring - he provided us with a full itinerary In Kyoto and Nara, including visiting the Deer Park and Monkey refugem, while listening carefully to the needs of our two kids - Thank you so much Yoshi!

It was a good experience. We saw some shopping districts, historical buildings and beautiful parks. Michio made it easy for us to explore the city in short time.

After satisfying my curiosity @Toyosu Market, my guide Isao Kito brought me to Tsukiji Market and I had a great time there. Isao is warm and sincere, and I can feel he earnestly tries his best to make the best of my visit there. Has a great local knowledge of the market and showed me the gems there. It was the best decision to book a personal tourguide to see in one day 4 so important and inspiring shrines and locations without loosing time finding my way alone with complex underground system. Naomi was a very kind and knowledgable guide, giving me the needed time to wait and see these inspiring temples, aswell as taking photos as I wished. Communicating was easy and effective. Did a tour of Enoshima Island and the surrounding temples and shrines. Beautiful area of Japan and amazing views from the Island itself. But what really made the tour stand out for us was our tour guide An. She was so considerate and informative we just learned so much about the history at the area from her. She was even willing to stay beyond the 6 hours to help us complete the items on the tour. And to help us ensure we had the right trains should get back to Yokohama. She really made the day enjoyable and complete for us. Highly recommend the tour and unquestionably recommend touring with An if she is available.
