About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 171ChristopherM0 contributionsCurate’s eggOK early on, but (I) we had to press the guide to visit all the listed venues (he appeared keen to get home!), and (ii) we were taken to 2 (unwanted) commercial outlet stores.Written 30 October 2024
- emmacE9145YI0 contributionsThe best thing to do from Kota KinabaluWe totally loved our afternoon here. Our guide was super friendly and explained everything very well. The tour is well thought through and we were not expecting to have food and drink little tasters throughout. We didnt really know what to expect and were impressed.Written 9 October 2024
- J6691RPpeterl0 contributionsNonexistent ExcursionI would love to write a review of this excursion, however we didn’t get to go on it. Everything appeared fine until the morning of the trip when the freelance travel operator contacted me to say the the travel agent MAM Holidays Malaysia had reduced their previously agreed price by 17%. This made it economically unviable for him, which I had great sympathy for. There was no contact made by MAM Holidays Malaysia to inform us of the situation or any attempt to arrange for another guide. We waited for 30mins to no avail. We are still waiting for the situation to be resolved i.e. full refund from Viator.Written 6 October 2024
- susanaO7661JC0 contributionsBrilliant! Our guide Siti (not sure of spelling) was brilliant, kind and particularly knowledgeable. My husband is a very picky eater, but she had plenty of suggestions come lunchtime. Our driver was very good too. I cannot fault anything about our tour, we were amazed.Written 26 September 2024
- X Z0 contributionsWonderful experience of cruise fireflies and crocodilesWonderful experience that we can explore the fireflies, and crocodiles. we cruise in the night to find the beautiful fireflies and also we have found a 1.5meters crocodiles. Also the island area that we take a rest has also a good view. Dinner is delicious and staff is patient, introducing us information about animals, plants. Our guide Azrien is kind and responsible, Nice experience !Written 18 September 2024
- B8627ARjoeb0 contributionsSandakan Sep24We did not do an organised tour, we just had a taxi driver take us around and paid our own entrance fees, he was fantastic, you can definitely do all 3 in a day, If you go to the morning session at the Orangutan Park, and miss seeing the Larger ones in the wild, you can return for the afternoon session using the same ticket and give it another try, You will almost certainly see a sun bear, but the Rainforest Discovery park can really use up time if you are interested as there is a lot of walking options. You can always go back the next day. Joe - Sydney AustWritten 16 September 2024
- chenth120 contributionsElephants, crocodile and proboscis monkeysWe saw 5 elephants crossing the river, so lucky. And another 15 more on land, walking by the river. Plus a crocodile by the river, which dashed in into the river after a while. There was a group of proboscis monkey, and an even larger group of macaques. The boatmen were very accommodating. Our driver Abdul drove us here. He's reliable and super friendly, reasonable prices. His WhatsApp is +601116695114Written 3 September 2024
- leleb750 contributionsCancelled by the travel companyTravel agent cancelled the tour the day before with no explanation. They refunded the money but they still advertised the tour for the day I was supposed to go. I ended up going by myself with was a fraction of the cost.Written 26 August 2024
- 786eleanorj0 contributionsDo not book! The tour guide did not show up! Viator have refunded us so no issue with them, but do not book this tour. If you want to do it, all of the grab drivers seem to know people who do a similar tour and you can pay in person when they show up. We sadly couldn’t do this because we waited for too long for the guide to show up and then all the other tours had already departed. A real shame!Written 25 August 2024
- paulwH7804FE0 contributionsExcellent fun cultural experienceExcellent tour (and we have been to a number of similar ones in other countries). In house guide spoke fluent English. Group sizes reasonable (13 in ours). Visited 5 tribal reconstructed longhouses, all fully explained. Lots of food and drink to sample. Interactive throughout, fun, entertaining and informative. Short dance and music show. Excellent buffet food at the end. Difficult if mobility issues as some steps up and down into houses, but may be alternatives. Thoroughly recommended, including for children.Written 12 August 2024
- Maps512622787190 contributionsDo not book here.Tripadvisor should take down the advertisements of this company. Also our trip was cancelled the day before in the afternoon and the telephone number provided is a dead end. Better off taking a Grab and paying only a quarter of the price...Written 10 August 2024
- leaht8310 contributionsGeorgetown by private carWe had a great half day tour with Mohammad. It was the perfect way to see GeorgeTown (in the heat!) traveling with elderly parents and a young child as we were picked up / dropped off at our hotel and driven around to key sites without too much walking. Mohammad provided the right level of commentary for us too. The car was clean and Mohammmad very cheerful which made for a nice morning out.Written 10 August 2024
- Karla T0 contributionsCancelled with no explanation the day before!Very disappointed. Our tour was cancelled at 3pm the day before, the morning of our trip. There was no explanation as to why! They said a refund would be sent, I am still waiting for it. We ended up paying a Grab driver for the day, (to take us, and bring us back to hotel) and we paid our individual entrance fees to the 3 places- Sepilok orangutan rehab centre, Borneo Sunbears and Rainforest discovery centre, and all together cost us a quarter (in Aus dollar) of what this company was going to cost. So it ended up better for us!Written 5 August 2024
- Creative-Malak0 contributionsMari Mari cultural villageVery slow people are divided into groups and there is not enough time between groups resulting in long queue and overcrowding , no published time for the show we had to wait for more than 45 mins to wait for the show to start , No places in between the walks to get water , No access to anyone who has a disability and also knee problems . It takes longer than it should due to lack of Organization. We were also told it included lunch and it was not part of itWritten 4 August 2024
- 94lynner0 contributionsFireflies cruise.Enjoyed the experience. Fireflies were interesting. Didn't see any other wildlife. Food was good. Guide was entertaining.Written 27 July 2024

I find that the most convenient and affordable way to reach Melaka is by bus. Typically, once I arrive at Melaka Sentral I make full use of the public bus network in the city to get down to Dutch Square and Jonker Walk. Dutch Square is a big highlight of the city in my opinion. It is a vibrant area of Melaka that is well maintained and nicely surrounded by gardens. If you can visit Dutch Square early in the morning or late afternoon when the lighting is optimal you will capture beautiful photos of Christ Church and the adjacent Melaka River. Christ Church is unmistakable due its vibrant red colour which provides strong contrast to the other aged buildings in Melaka’s historic area.
