The tour was great from start to finish. Mani our driver was fantastic! He was punctual, informative and very friendly. Even showed my kid the oil palm fruit, harvest and processing facility because we passed by one even as it was not part of the itinerary. The Elephant Sanctuary is worth a visit in support of elephant conservation. There are no elephant rides, elephants performing tricks or working. There were supposed to be 25 of these mighty animals. We saw 6: 3 young orphans, one of which leg was in a splint because it was rescued from a trap; and 3 older ones, rolling in mud to cool themselves. The other 19 are in the forest, being rehabilitated, until they are ready to be released again into the wild.

Came earlier and waited patiently, polite driver Maidin and smooth driving. Willing to accommodate customer request. 👍

My partner and I booked the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary tour through a third party website (Klook) so was not aware of the company that would be taking us but from start to finish, Hibiscus Travel and our guide Karthik provided an amazing experience. We were fortunate that we were the only two on the trip so it was essentially a private tour so Karthik went the extra mile (compared to other tours we did from KL) to teach us about the local area, fauna, wildlife and so much more. We got impromptu stops just to give us a chance to see exotic plants, sample fruits and see rubber trees as well as a great discussion about local traditions in the car. Due to a delay in Klook informing Hibiscus about our booking there was a risk we wouldn't get to do the elephant bathing but Karthik phoned ahead and got us some spaces for that day so we were able to experience everything that Kuala Gandah had to offer. It was a fantastic day made all the better by the great attitude and friendly chats we had with our guide. I genuinely wouldn't hesitate to use Hibiscus Travel again.
