About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 331brada0 contributionsBest way to see Austin, up close and personalWhat a treasure to find this experience. It finished off a very nice week in Austin . Dave our guide was knowledgeable and showed us a different close up of Austin that we hadn’t seen in our self guided tours. I’m a big fan now. I highly recommend even if you think you’ve seen it all in Austin.Written 16 January 2025
- Julstev0 contributionsMural tourtwo of us did the mural tour and had an absolute blast. Our guide the Peacock guy lol forgot his name was wonderful. Very friendly and informative and fun. Highly recommend this tour.Written 4 November 2024
- rerwin0 contributionsFast & Furious FunThis is probably one of THE best things to do in Austin! I'm a native Texan:) We live downtown and when friends visit we book this tour every time. Consequently, we've booked it for ourselves when our boys are home from college so they can see how much the city has grown and it's just BIG FUN! A friend from Nashville visiting and has never seen Austin... so guess what... I booked the tour and Caleb was a rockstar with a wealth of information. He was funny, professional and knew all the right places and murals for party pics. Each time we rode fast and furious, we roared with laughter! Good times and cheers to pedicab fun in the River City!Written 31 October 2024
- V973ARalexandras0 contributionsSo fun! This was such a unique and fun way to see the city! Caleb was funny, helpful, knowledgeable and took some great photos for us!Written 4 October 2024

- angiec2900 contributionsGreat pedicab tour!I took my nephews and nieces on the mural tour and we had a great time! Our guides were Jordan and Mike, they were so nice, laid back with lots of good info to share. Even though we live in Austin, I had never seen most of the murals they took us to. If you are visiting or if you’re a local like us, jump in a pedicab with one of these guys and enjoy!Written 8 August 2024
- 712SusanB0 contributionsSo good I would do it again! What a fun way to see the murals! Fast moving tour (which is good) with fun conversation, great photo opportunities, and a nice way to see the different neighborhoods as well. Our tour guide was excellent! I would do this tour again!Written 19 June 2024
- S9533GNchristineg0 contributionsFabulous Tour with a Great Guide and Driver!Caleb was an amazing Pedicab tour guide and we had a blast. We got a ton of fabulous photos, and he gave us a superb round trip to places I'd never seen before in Austin. This was a wonderful way to share my city with my out of town guest and best friend. I highly recommend the Austin Mural Selfie Tour!Written 15 June 2024
- Samiambaker0 contributionsSo fun!My sister and I went on a girls trip to Austin and we had a blast with Caleb! He took us on a scenic tour to 3 different breweries and we were able to choose a flight at each, since we did the all inclusive option. He played great music and was full of personality!Written 11 June 2024

- kathybQ4781FF0 contributionsThis tour is a MUST!!My husband and I did the Brew Tour on the pedicab with Caleb. We were only in Ausitn for 3 days and had never been before. I told Caleb after his tour; we would definitely be back because he made us see there was SO much more we wanted to do! Caleb was super nice, a lot of fun and was very informative! The tour was honestly my favorite part of our trip!Written 8 May 2024
- 570haleyb0 contributionsGreat Introduction to Austin!Perfect for our first night in Austin! We learned so much about the city from our guide, and did not stop laughing the entire time. Would 100/10 recommend this tour!Written 6 May 2024
- joyqgrimes0 contributionsBest way to see AustinWe were skeptical at first, not knowing how much fun this would be... it quickly turned out to be the best part of our trip. The second we met Leo and sat in the pedicab, we were immediately, " Oh man I am so glad we're doing this" It's not just seeing three breweries, which were all fantastic by the way... It was a very unique way of seeing Austin.. very different from what you would see on your own or taking a bus tour. On the pedicab, youre weaving in and out on streets and on trails under bridges. Its so much fun. Leo was so informative, so entertaining, so friendly, and so so much fun. (Thank you so much Leo! BTW... The BBQ place was ahhhhmazing... So great that we passed out on the grass at Butler Park for 2 hrs!)Written 27 April 2024
- N6658TIbarbarab0 contributionsSo much fun & informativeMurals were wonderful, enhanced by learning stories about each. Learned about not just murals but neighborhoods, restaurants, bars/music venues, ghosts... Music & laughs. Has to be experienced.Written 21 April 2024

Our guide, Noah, was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the city. My mom was in town for the holidays and I’ve lived here about five years. I learned a lot of cool new stuff about the city and would recommend the tour to anyone (even if you’ve lived here your whole life). Noah’s enthusiasm and professionalism took the tour from a 10/10 to a 12/10. Thanks for the memories.

Such fun! Our driver Caleb was amazing. He picked me, my daughter and 6 year old granddaughter up at 8 pm and had a weighted blanket (it was cold!) and the fun started. Caleb asked what we wanted to see and didn’t disappoint. We saw the bats up close and so much of downtown Austin as Caleb pointed out the attractions with interesting facts! Caleb kept all of us laughing and excited for more!

So much fun! Caleb and the peacock mobile transported us all over the city while learning great facts and things I didn't even know. I'm a native Texan that comes to Austin all the time and it was still informative. Caleb is so amazing. His energy can't be beat and he knows all the little hot spots around town. So glad we did this tour. Thank you Caleb!

My friends and I took a tour on March 25th, 2023. Caleb and the other driver were very nice, polite, friendly etc.
My reason for the 2 rating is that the tour was advertised as a history tour and we did not get a history tour. We didn’t even get close to a history tour. My friends and I got a pedicab ride of Austin with stops where Caleb pointed out landmarks and sometimes gave a fact. I say sometimes b/c for example we stopped in front of the Paramount Theater and Caleb commented that he wasn’t familiar with the band on the marquee and that Bob Saget performed at the theater before he passed.
At the Capital we were told it was made of red granite and that it was bigger than the White House. I took a walk this morning to the 1886 Bakery and Cafe and on the way read a plaque on a building highlighting the historical significance of 6th Street and that it‘s registered landmark. Caleb made no mention of any of the history tied to 6th Street other than it is sometimes referred to as the “dirty 6th.” We rode across the Congress Street Bridge stopped in front of the Yeti store. Caleb pointed out the store and that it has a bar and that was it. We received no other information on the bridge. I could go on, but I think you get my point. When I booked the tour I was not expecting the guide would be an expert on the history of the city, but I was expecting to receive more info on a 90 min $65 tour than I would get reading plaques on the sides of buildings. The pedicab ride was pleasant and the guys were nice, but if you are looking for a tour with some Austin history this is not the right one. It was very disappointing.

My mother and I are in Austin for one night only. As it is our first time visiting the city, we thought it would be fun and interesting to book a private tour. We waited over 45 minutes at our pickup location for our guide who never showed up or called us to let us know he was running behind. Nathan was apologetic and repeatedly stated he had contacted our guide but no one ever called or met us. It was very disappointing and unprofessional given we paid $130 and booked the tour in advance. There was no explanation for our guide’s absence other than it was “odd.” If booking with this company, it would be prudent to double or triple check that a guide is available before booking.

Ken was a great tour guide that had a ton of knowledge about the city and was able to get great photos of my mom and me as he took us around town. I'm giving it a 4/5 because I just didn't love the city...at no fault to the guide. When my mom and I visited everything just seemed like a ghost town, and we needed to make several adjustments to the tour to avoid homeless people that were hollering at us. Ken was great with dealing with those situations, but I'd prefer to not have those situations in the first place. It was also really sad to see old buildings with historic land markers boarded up and falling into disrepair. I'm a history teacher, and it was upsetting to see a city like Austin (with such neat history) not making a conservative effort to preserve their historic buildings.

We live in the Austin area and were looking for a fun outdoor activity because of Covid. This mas the PERFECT choice. Ken was so personable, made us feel comfortable, kept himself physically distant without sacrificing warm human interaction, and taught us so much about the city that we love. Next time, the beer tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our private pedicab tour. Our tour guide Ken, was very professional. He called ahead of time to let us know he might be running a bit late, but fortunately was able to show up at our hotel on time. We were impressed with his knowledge and ability to rattle off delays of all the places we went to, The tour was supposed to last an hour, but time permitted us to tour for 2 hours, which we grateful appreciated. It was a great way to get to view some of the major landmarks downtown (state capitol, Congress bridge, Driskell Hotel, to name a few) and learn about the history of the city. Definitely well worth the cost!

We made a much needed escape from the bitter cold winter in Chicago and visited beautiful Austin - and had the great fortune of meeting “Ken” from Metrocycle Pedicabs at the State Capital. The Capital is under a strict security protocol - prohibiting vehicle traffic on its grounds (including motorized pedicabs). Being that my wife is disabled - Ken spoke to a few State Troopers requesting motorized access on the grounds. The Officers granted allowance which was greatly appreciated. Ken treated us like royalty as he provided us the grand tour. It was apparent that he is quite knowledgeable on Austin & Texas history which included its architecture, founding fathers, famous battles, and its Native American influence. He was able to answer all of our questions at length, took numerous pictures of us, and made himself available to answer any questions during our stay in Austin. We Highly recommend Ken & Metrocycle!! Kudos!!!

We had an amazing morning tour with Ken. He is clearly very knowledgeable about the history of the city and highly enthusiastic about showing us around. We also liked that he asked us what we were interested in the beginning and picked some of the spots based on our interests. Highly recommended!
